This study aims to provide an understanding of character education based on multicultural values in elementary school students. The method used is quasi-experimental to see the changes that occur after using mobile learning in class VI SDN Kadipaten 1 Majalengka. The population and sample of the study were the sixth-grade students of SDN Kadipaten Majalengka in the 2020/2021 academic year. The data collection technique used a test that was used to determine the student's tolerance attitude. Based on the data processing and analysis results, it can be concluded that the attitude of tolerance needs to be given a good understanding at the level of elementary school students. It is because elementary school students are at a stage where imitation is very high. The "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application can be a facility in providing an understanding of tolerance. It is shown that the results of the study indicate that there are differences in tolerance attitudes before and after using the "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application.

<p>This paper aims to describe the character values of elementary school students through Ramayana stories. Character education in elementary school is an effort to build character of elementary school student. There is a shift in values regarding norms of decency, ethics and morality. Moral degradation can be regarded as an indicator of the weak understanding of religious values. In Hindu Literature, especially in Itihasa, in which there is a Ramayana story, this story is full of character values. In the classroom learning the teacher at least tucked the story with the goal of students can adopt the character of every character in the Ramayana story that can make students become comfortable in following the lessons and can implement in every aspect of life, and is expected to motivate and provide new paradigm in the effort shaping the character of the young generation.</p>

This study was designed to produce a learning design based on Mobile Learning (M-Learning) that is appropriate for elementary school students. In making this instructional media design, the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method consists of six stages: concept, design, obtaining material, assembly, testing, and distribution, but in this study only carried out two stages, concept and design. The results showed that the MDLC method privides the feasibility percentage of: media experts amounted to 89.44%; material experts amounted to 92,89%, and teachers amounted to 93.3%.  This study produces a learning design based on Mobile Learning (M-Learning) that is feasible to be applied for elementary school students.Keywords: Learning media; mobile learning; multimedia development life cycle Desain Aplikasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Mobile Learning (M-Learning) Untuk Siswa Sekolah DasarABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain media pembelajaran berbasis Mobile Learning (M-Learning) yang layak untuk siswa sekolah dasar. The purposes of these research are to find out: 1) student’s needs for digital literacy media to support the learning, and 2) the characteristics of digital literacy media which suitable for elementary school students. The research was conducted through a survey of respondents who were determined as a sample. The population of these research’s sample was students, teachers, and headteacher in several elementary schools at Yogyakarta city that randomly taken, which SDN Bangunrejo 1, SDN Blunyahrejo, and SDN Pingit. The methods used for data collection are interviews, observation, and needs scale. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive quantitatively by giving a percentage of the results. The results of the analysis can be seen that: 1) grade IV students at the elementary school level needs a digital literacy media to support the improvement of science and mathematics abilities, and 2) the digital literacy media that can be used are sciencemath story based on mobile learning with cartoon illustration and supporting with children’s songs. The development of this media is one of the efforts to maximize the schools’ literacy movement in enhancing students’ abilities.   Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) kebutuhan siswa terhadap media literasi digital sebagai penunjang pembelajaran, dan 2) karakteristik media literasi digital yang sesuai dengan siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan melalui survei kepada responden yang ditetapkan sebagai sampel. Populasi dari sampel penelitian ini adalah para siswa, guru dan kepala sekolah di SD Negeri Bangunrejo 1, SD Negeri Blunyahrejo dan SD Negeri Pingit. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan skala kebutuhan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan memberikan prosentase pada hasil.  Dari hasil analisis dapat diketahui, bahwa: 1) siswa kelas IV tingkat sekolah dasar membutuhkan media literasi digital sebagai penunjang peningkatan kemampuan sains dan matematika, dan 2) media literasi digital yang dapat digunakan merupakan media cerita sainsmatika berbasis mobile learning dengan konten kartun ilustrasi dan lagu anak sebagai penunjang. Pengembangan cerita sainsmatika berbasis mobile learning sebagai media literasi digital menjadi salah satu upaya pemaksimalan penggunaan daya dukung sekolah pada pelaksanaan gerakan literasi dan peningkatan kemampuan siswa.
