Abstract. Information on several crop bio-physical parameters is important as inputs for crop growth modelling, leaf stress analysis, crop health study and productivity point of view. Conventionally, biophysical parameters are measured in laboratory methods which are time consuming, laborious and destructive in nature. With the advent of remote sensing technology, the limitations of conventional methods can be overcome. Moreover, due to its narrow absorption bands at different wavelength, use of hyperspectral remote sensing becomes very useful in retrieving several bio-physical parameters. In the present study, field as well as laboratory based spectro-radiometer observations were carried out at Agronomy Department of VisvaBharati University, West Bengal, on Sunflower crop at its peak vegetation stage towards retrieving different bio-physical parameters, specifically leaf area index (LAI), chlorophyll content index (CCI), fluorescence etc. Different foliar boron (no boron, 0.15% and 0.20%) and irrigation (4–6 irrigations) treatments, i.e. total nine treatments with three replications, were applied on sunflower crop during different phenological stages to achievemaximum ranges of the bio-physical parameters. The LAI, CCI and fluorescence parameters were collected using canopy analyzer, chlorophyll content meter and portable gas exchange system, respectively. In each of the treatments, total four hyperspectral measurements were collected, which were further corrected for noise and smoothened using Savitzky-Golay filtering. Total thirty-four narrow band indices were computed based on the hyperspectral data, and the regression analysis was carried out among the indices and bio-physical parameters. The regression parameters were further deployed on the hyperspectral indices to retrieve the bio-physical parameters. The Gitelson & Merzylak-1 (GM-1) and Carter Indices-1 (CI-1) were found to the best indices for retrieving the LAI and CCI, respectively with correlation correlation (r) values of 0.87 and 0.80. On the other hand, Normalized Phaenophytinization Index (NPQI) and GM-1 were found to best for retrieving the Fv/Fm (dark) and Fvˈ/Fmˈ (light) with correlation(r)values of 0.92 and 0.76, respectively. Hence, the hyperspectral remote sensing be successfully utilized for retrieving several bio-physical parameters both at field (canopy level) and laboratory (leaf level) conditions.

Introduction: Machine learning is an intelligent technology that works as a bridge between businesses and data science. With the involvement of data science, the business goal focuses on findings to get valuable insights on available data. The large part of Indian Cinema is Bollywood which is a multi-million dollar industry. This paper attempts to predict whether the upcoming Bollywood Movie would be Blockbuster, Superhit, Hit, Average or Flop. For this Machine Learning techniques (classification and prediction) will be applied. To make classifier or prediction model first step is the learning stage in which we need to give the training data set to train the model by applying some technique or algorithm and after that different rules are generated which helps to make a model and predict future trends in different types of organizations. Methods: All the techniques related to classification and Prediction such as Support Vector Machine(SVM), Random Forest, Decision Tree, Naïve Bayes, Logistic Regression, Adaboost, and KNN will be applied and try to find out efficient and effective results. All these functionalities can be applied with GUI Based workflows available with various categories such as data, Visualize, Model, and Evaluate. Result: To make classifier or prediction model first step is learning stage in which we need to give the training data set to train the model by applying some technique or algorithm and after that different rules are generated which helps to make a model and predict future trends in different types of organizations Conclusion: This paper focuses on Comparative Analysis that would be performed based on different parameters such as Accuracy, Confusion Matrix to identify the best possible model for predicting the movie Success. By using Advertisement Propaganda, they can plan for the best time to release the movie according to the predicted success rate to gain higher benefits. Discussion: Data Mining is the process of discovering different patterns from large data sets and from that various relationships are also discovered to solve various problems that come in business and helps to predict the forthcoming trends. This Prediction can help Production Houses for Advertisement Propaganda and also they can plan their costs and by assuring these factors they can make the movie more profitable.

Growing environmental problems and increasing requirements of green jobs force universities around the world not only to transform their curricula but also to enrich existing ones with contents related to the promotion of sustainable development. This paper aims to show the importance of measuring and monitoring the share of green contents in all university activities, as only in that way it is possible to monitor trends and give realistic assessments of their effect and importance. The paper presents a comparative analysis of different types of methodologies for assessing sustainable activities at universities as well as research conducted at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia and its comparison with the University of Gothenburg (Sweden). This research aims to point out the importance of increasing competitiveness in higher education through assessment of green content in a curriculum and its promotion. In this way, through eco-labeling methodology, it would be easier to identify those contents that, in a certain share, contribute to the promotion of sustainable development. Furthermore, this methodology can easily be extended across the country and the region, which would bring positive effects to all stakeholders in higher education.

Manufacturers offer different types of ballistic barrels made in according to various standards. The paper presents comparison of three types of ballistic barrels: pressure, velocity and accuracy made according to C.I.P. and NATO EPVAT standards. Projectile velocities in a several measuring points on the flight path and propellant gas pressures in the barrels were measured and compared. The main aim of the article is to discuss whether all types of barrels to conduct most ballistic tests are needed, or whether one, the most universal in a specific caliber is enough. Keywords: mechanical engineering, ballistics, firearm, ammunition researches, ballistic properties

One of the latest trends in the transport field is the increasing interest for the rejuvenation of the railway. It is considered to be a logical consequence of the gradual switch towards a more sustainable future in transports. Terminals and stations are considered to be the junction points between the various lines that constitute the railway network and can simply be described as points of arrival, departure and interchange of passengers or commodities. The most commonly used indicators that measure the level of their performance are time and cost. This study aims at exploring possible improvements that could be implemented to the infrastructure and the operation of terminals and stations in order to increase the efficiency level. Firstly, drawing upon grounded theory about rail infrastructure and terminals, a description is conducted, followed by a comparative analysis of the different types of existing terminals and stations. Secondly, the suggested improvements are presented in accordance with their time frame completion. The main contribution of this study is to illustrate the high significance of terminals, stations and yards, acknowledging them as crucial parts of the railway network, because as characterized and demonstrated in this study, their performance are key factors to the whole network performance, making the identification of their critical points and respective possible solutions, the final objective of this paper. In addition to this, emphasis is given to the need of improving and developing the existing terminal infrastructure and operations.
