This article describes the important element involved in project management, especially the construction works. The methods are based on the network analysis techniques. The designed package is capable to perform the scheduling of the project's activities and the calculation of various costs involved. Besides those, the package also permits the end user to print or display various type of outputs and they are menu driven. Keyword: network analyis, activity scheduling, CPM (Critical Path Method), cost analysis

This paper deals with an analysis of Critical Path Method (CPM) and Programme Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) in Project Network. Here, we solve the PERT and CPM methodology using intervals and we determine the critical path and project duration of the network. We can also convert the fuzzy parameters (triangular and trapezoidal fuzzy numbers) into intervals using α − cuts. After which, we calculate the project duration and critical path. To illustrate this, numerical examples are provided.

Production of the aircraft becomes very important to facilitate many passengers of aircraft in Indonesia in the future. The design of a very complex aircraft requires proper project management. This study aims to perform the best scheduling project of empennage structure design of Indonesia’s aircraft with limited resources. Critical Path Method (CPM) is used to schedule the project based on activity and resource. CPM scheduling results in completion time for activity data for 400 working days. CPM scheduling after assigning human resources results in a longer completion time for 1023.47 working days. CPM scheduling is carried out by reallocating of human resources to produce a shorter completion time, and it results in completion time for 955 working days.

Along with the industrial competition nowaydays, an exact and strategic planning is highly required particulary for project. There are alot of tasks and activities within, which need to be broken down, in this term for its time line. Every success and failure is caused by raw palnning. The obyective of this research is to find efective time needed to complete a project. Method used are Critical Path Method (CPM) , Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), andGantt Chart.

Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) provided a tangible progress to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. The critical chain project management (CCPM) differs from the traditional Critical Path Method (CPM) which includes never changing resource dependencies. CCPM improves the project plan by aggregating uncertainty into buffers at the end of activity paths. In this research, one hundred twenty random projects were generated and analyzed using Microsoft Project software according to the traditional CPM and the CCPM once using the sum of squares (SSQ) method and another using the cut & past (C&PM) method. CCPM-SSQ method revealed an average savings of 13% and 43% in duration and cost, with a standard deviation of 21 and 11 for duration and cost respectively. While the CCPM-C&PM method revealed an average overestimation of about 2% in duration and 43% savings in cost, with a standard deviation of 25 and 11 for duration and cost respectively.

PT. Pakarti Tirtoagung is one of the companies engaged in construction services in Indonesia, in the scope of gas and petroleum. To facilitate the company in carrying out the project implementation process and monitoring the progress of the project, a special computerized system is needed.Looking at the system that runs on the company, there is no specific system support, which has several obstacles, among others in making schedule project, errors in recording data and presenting project progress reports because project progress was not monitored, completion of projects that are not in accordance with time schedules, etc. Of the several obstacles encountered, it becomes an interesting discussion to looking for solutions that can minimize obstacles and even risks that will occur as a result of these constraints. For that it was made Analysis And Design Of Web-Based Project Management Information System Using Critical Path Method (CPM) Method On Pt. Pakarti Tirtoagung. Using the CPM method for help planning activities to project development. Based on the results of the questionnaire that was distributed to 10 (ten) respondents and after processing the results 58% of respondents felt agree and 38% strongly agree that the system can present information about the ongoing project, monitoring the project and presenting a project progress report .
