The use of information and communication technology in learning is an essential part of the National Curriculum in Malaysia. Dyslexic children exhibit different skills and motivations. They dislike reading and find reading to be a painful activity. This paper presents an exploration of the visual representation used by dyslexic children in learning Bahasa Melayu. Visual representations, such as the use of icons and images, in interface design are remembered easily and enhance the level of concentration and experience in learning. The experiment used an educational multimedia courseware to investigate how dyslexic children react towards the use of icons and images. This study involved 12 dyslexic children in a primary school in Malaysia. Findings from the experiment were examined to understand how children with dyslexia perceive visual representations. The findings will help designers to carefully design and choose icons and images that can easily be interpreted by these children. Well designed icons and images allow dyslexic children to recognise the meaning of those visual representations without the need of additional support.

<em>The development of information and communication technology offers convenience for its users.  The use of information and communication technology also has a positive impact on the business world.  For example, the use of advances in information and communication technology in the transportation sector.  Cizqi Rent A Car is a Turkish company that launched a mobile application for online car rental service providers which is expected to make it easier for tourists or local residents who want to rent a car to travel in Turkey.  By conducting usability analysis with the WEBUSE method, this study aims to determine the usability level of the Cizgi Rent A Car application.  From the results of data analysis it is known that this application is quite famous because it has been downloaded by more than 10,000 downloaders from several countries including Indonesia.  This application is used by Indonesians who make work visits and travel to Turkey.  The usability level in the Content, Organization &amp; Readability variables and the Navigation and Links variables can be said to be Good.  The usability level for the User Interface Design variable can be said to be quite bad.  The usability level for the Performance and Effectiveness variables can be said to be moderate.</em>

This research was aimed to explore the implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education at Primary and Secondary levels in Bangladesh. The education ministry has added ICT with the national curriculum in Bangladesh. So, goal of the research is i) How to ensure the best implementation of ICT in the education; ii) How to ensure the best use of ICT tools in the class rooms; iii) How to help teachers, students, parents and also all the relevant bodies to cope with the system. To face the challenges in the 21st century if a nation can not adapt the new technology the country can not move forward. One of the methods to improve the understanding of the learner is to use an interactive simulator aircraft by utilizing information and communication technology so as to explain the flight control system and its functions better. Making this simulator using Adobe Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, and 3DRad. The software used to create the interface design, 3D design, as well as as simulator engine. Simulator Extra 300 L aircraft provide convenience to the user to know and understand the control plane fly Extra 300 L.The use of this simulator is more interactive in the delivery of information to the user than an explanation using propsor in video form. This simulator is designed user friendly as well as trials conducted by 30 respondents, the majority of respondents stated that this simulator is good and fit for use as a medium of learning control of an aircraft.

This chapter reports on the development of an innovative interoperable Information and Communication Technology (ICT) application for English teaching in primary schools in Japan. An investigation into the use of the ICT application during a four month period at two primary schools is also described. The results of the initial needs analysis conducted to identify appropriate means of support for effective primary school English education, the subsequent processes of the design, the development and implementation of the ICT application, the children’s reflections during use of the ICT application in English lessons, and a post-course evaluation by children and by their homeroom teachers are described. Proposals are made for the future enhancement of the interoperability capacity for the ICT application.

The lack of knowledge of investment products lead many people decided not to invest for their future. This can be overcome by utilizing the information and communication technology development by making a web application of Smart Investment Planner with the aim to recognize various types of investment product as well as the character investment and tips for users. This application uses a set of data as knowledge base which obtained from the literature, discussions with economic experts, database design, user interface design, as well as tests and evaluations by experts. The result of these applications concluded that this application collect the information as well as investment products that suit into their needs and also encourage them to start invest.
