ABSTRACT Bacteriophage LPST10 was isolated from Wuhan, China. Lytic activity was demonstrated against multiple Salmonella enterica serovars, including Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium strains. This bacteriophage has a 47,657-bp double-stranded DNA genome encoding 87 putative coding sequences.

ABSTRACT Two lytic double-stranded DNA bacteriophages, VSe11 and VSe102, infecting broad-spectrum Salmonella enterica were isolated from the sewage of two different poultry farms. The phage genomes comprise 86,360 bp and 86,365 bp, respectively, with a G+C content of 39.0%, and both contain 129 putative coding sequences.

ABSTRACT Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis is one of the most commonly isolated foodborne pathogens and is transmitted primarily to humans through consumption of contaminated poultry and poultry products. We are reporting completely closed genome and plasmid sequences of historical S. Enteritidis isolates recovered from humans between 1949 and 1995 in the United States.

ABSTRACT We report the complete genome sequencing and annotation of four Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis isolates, two that are representative of the Central/Eastern African clade (CP255 and D7795) and two of the Global Epidemic clade (A1636 and P125109).

Three bacteriophages, f 20-Xaj , f 29 - Xaj, and f 30-Xaj, with lytic activity against Xanthomonas arboricola pv. juglandis were isolated from walnut trees (VIII Bío Bío Region, Chile). These lytic bacteriophages have double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) genomes of 43,851 bp, 41,865 bp, and 44,262 bp, respectively. These are the first described bacteriophages with lytic activity against X. arboricola pv. juglandis that can be utilized as biocontrol agents.

ABSTRACT We report the genome sequences of 10 Pseudomonas aeruginosa phages studied for their potential for formulation of a therapeutic cocktail; they represent the families Myoviridae, Podoviridae, and Siphoviridae. Genome sizes ranged from 43,299 to 88,728 nucleotides, with G+C contents of 52.1% to 62.2%. The genomes contained 68 to 168 coding sequences.
