ABSTRACT Klebsiella pneumoniae strains are capable of becoming resistant through multiple mechanisms. Here, we announce draft sequences for Kp 23, a clinical isolate with no plasmid-encoded β-lactamases, and KPM 20, a clinical isolate with no plasmid-encoded β-lactamases and no detectable OmpK35, OmpK36, or PhoE in the outer membrane.

Enterobacter hormaechei and Klebsiella pneumoniae are pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae that have been associated with the spread of antibiotic resistance. Here, we report draft genome assemblies of an Enterobacter hormaechei clinical isolate and a multidrug-resistant clinical isolate of Klebsiella pneumoniae.

ABSTRACT A clinical isolate and a nonclinical isolate of Klebsiella pneumoniae were found to exhibit nonheritable tolerance in response to antimicrobial compounds. The draft genome sequences of both isolates are presented here.

ABSTRACT Corynebacterium diphtheriae has caused multiple isolated diphtheria cases in Malaysia over the years. Here, we report the first draft genome sequences of 15 Malaysia C. diphtheriae clinical isolates collected from the years 1981 to 2016.

We report here the genome sequences of 10 Klebsiella pneumoniae strains of capsular type K2 isolated in Russia from patients in an infectious clinical hospital and neurosurgical intensive care unit. The draft genome sizes range from 5.34 to 5.87 Mb and include 5,448 to 6,137 protein-coding sequences.

To date, Veillonella tobetsuensis has been known as an oral anaerobe and a facilitator of early-stage oral biofilm development with streptococci. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of 2 strains of V. tobetsuensis first isolated from intraoperative bronchial fluids of elderly patients with pulmonary carcinoma.

ABSTRACT Recently, we reported the draft genome sequence of Streptococcus gallolyticus NTS31106099. It was found to contain a previously unknown putative Tn916-like conjugative transposon, Tn6263. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of two other clinical isolates, NTS31301958 and NTS31307655. Both of them contain another novel element, Tn6331, which is highly similar to Tn6263.

Draft genome sequences of Corynebacterium macginleyi CCUG 32361T and clinical isolates NML 080212 and NML 120205 were assembled and studied. Genome sizes ranged from 2.35 Mb to 2.42 Mb, with G+C contents ranging from 57.1% to 57.2%.

We sequenced the genomes of eight isolates from various regions of the United States. These isolates form a monophyletic cluster clearly related to but distinct from Vibrio cholerae.

ABSTRACT We report the draft genome sequences of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans strains 310a (310-TR) and 310b (310-OS). Strain 310a is a clinical isolate with a rough phenotype. Strain 310b is a laboratory-adapted isolate derived from the passage of 310a and displays a smooth phenotype.

ABSTRACT We report here the draft genome sequences of two clinically isolated Acinetobacter baumannii strains. These samples were obtained from patients at the University of Colorado Hospital in 2007 and 2013 and encode an estimated 20 and 13 resistance genes, respectively.
