Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a Gram-negative bacterium that has the ability to survive in and readily adapt to a variety of environmental conditions. Here, we report 2 genome sequences of P. aeruginosa strains, UMB1046 and UMB5686, isolated from the female urogenital tract.

Vibrio vulnificus is a Gram-negative bacterium and an opportunistic pathogen that can cause septicemia or necrotizing fasciitis. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of 42 environmental V. vulnificus strains collected from the northern Gulf of Mexico. These data will allow for more robust comparisons between clinical and environmental strains.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa , a Gram-negative bacterium that causes severe hospital-acquired infections, is grouped as an ESKAPE ( Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa , and Enterobacter species) pathogen because of its extensive drug resistance phenotypes and effects on human health worldwide. Five multidrug resistant P. aeruginosa strains isolated from wounded military personnel were sequenced and annotated in this work.

Serratia marcescens is a Gram-negative bacterium causally linked to acroporid serratiosis, a form of white pox disease implicated in the decline of elkhorn corals. We report draft genomes of 38 S. marcescens isolates collected from host and nonhost sources.

Vibrio atypicus is a Gram-negative bacterium associated with the digestive tract of penaeid shrimp. Here, we present the draft genome sequences of two V. atypicus strains, DSM 25292T and TUMSAT1. Both assemblies were approximately 4.8 Mbp long, with GC contents of around 44%.

Vibrio neptunius is a Gram-negative bacterium that has been shown to cause disease in marine bivalve mollusk larvae. Here, we report the draft genome sequences and annotations of five V. neptunius strains isolated from larvae of European oyster ( Ostrea edulis ) and Manila clam ( Ruditapes philippinarum ) at hatcheries in Galicia, northwest Spain.

ABSTRACT We report the draft genome sequence of Gram-negative bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa NA04, isolated from the entomopathogenic nematode Heterorhabditis indica MOR03. The draft genome consists of 54 contigs, a length of 6.37 Mb, and a G+C content 66.49%.

Flavobacterium psychrophilum is a Gram-negative, psychrophilic bacterium within the family Flavobacteriaceae. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of three F. psychrophilum strains isolated from skin ulcers of diseased ayu caught by tomozuri angling at three sites in the Kagami River in Japan.

Pseudomonas fluorescens is a Gram-negative bacterium with versatile metabolic functions and potential industrial uses. We sequenced P. fluorescens strain ATCC 13525 with the goal of determining virulence factors and antibiotic resistance genes to predict the potential impacts on human and environmental health in the event of exposure.
