A low temperature (-90 °C) X-ray structural analysis of S6 single crystals yielded improved data for the bond distances (206.8 pm), bond angles (102.6°), and torsion angles (73.8°) of the D3d molecule which are in agreement with current theories of homonuclear sulfur bonds.

The thermal deformation of reflecting optical system in the ambient temperature affects the system performance greatly. Based on the results of thermal balance test, the paper has made a full analysis to the deformation of reflecting optical system on the high-low temperature using the finite elemernt method,so as to validate whether the optical system meet the requirement of optical image design and temperature. This method can combine the thermal optical analysis and thermal balance test data effectively ,and therefore the most actual thermal optical anslysis model can be obtained to guide the concept and optimization of reflecting optical system.

AbstractA new formation method for an ultra-low resistivity contact and structural analysis are discussed. In this study, a minimum contact resistivity of 6.9× 10−9 Ω·cm2 has been successfully obtained in an AlSi(lwt%)Cu(0.5wt%) alloy / Si system by using heavy dose ion implantations of Ge and B combined with low temperature annealing as low as 550°C. Structural analysis on the Si surface layer has been carried out. As a result, it was found that the crystal lattice was expanded in-plane by 6% in the Si layer near the surface because of the high concentration of Ge and no relaxation of lattice strain at such a low temperature. It was also found that super-saturation of B was stably formed in this system. An ultra-low resistivity contact is considered to be a result of these combined effects.

The article presents experimental results on the application of thermal oxidation or low temperature gas nitrocarburizing (LTGNC) of Ecosint powders sintered under industrial conditions. Surface hardness HRB and microhardness (HV0.1) were studied. A structural analysis was carried out and the corrosion resistance of the alloys was investigated. Conclusions were made on chemical heat treatment performed on structure and mechanical properties of the investigated alloys.

Abstract The process of constructing structures and the selection of technology is difficult due to a series of highly varied conditions - which are often difficult to foresee - associated with the construction of a building within a city centre. The goal of the article is the performance of a structural analysis of the most commonly occurring conditions that need to be considered in the context of the selection of a technology of constructing buildings in the centre of an urban agglomeration. Based on a literature study that had been performed, aswell as on a survey study performed on expects, the authors listed and characterised conditions that occur during the construction of structures in the centres of urban agglomerations. Afterwards, experts determined the impact of these factors and their mutual relations in the context of the selection of the technology of the construction of said structures. In order to determine the involvement and the role of the factors in the context of the selection of a technology of the construction of a structure, as well as its analysis, the authors used the WINGS (Weighted Influence Non-linear Gauge System) modelling and structural analysis method. This method takes into account both direct, as well as indirect relations between these factors. The study contained in the article constitutes a basis for the development of a comprehensive systemic approach supporting the decision-making process associated with the selection of a construction technology for a building to be built in the centre of an urban agglomeration.
