We study the WWγ vertex through the process γq→Wq′ where q denotes the quark at a future high energy collider. The differential cross-section for the photoproduction process γq→Wq′ is computed with both anomalous magnetic moment κ and electric quadrupole moment λ for the W-boson. The deep inelastic photoproduction of W± is also calculated in a quark-parton model.

The production of scalar unparticle (spin - 0) in the photon - electron  collider are calculated in all s-, t-, and u-channels in detail as well as interference between channels together. By searching for missing energy distributions as well as evaluating dependence of  differential cross section (DCS) on the scattering angle  and cross section (CS) on the center of mass energy , we hope that the unparticles production in high energy collider might be detected in future.

In the present paper, we investigate coherent bremsstrahlung of high energy electrons moving in a periodically deformed single crystal with a complex base. The formula for corresponding differential cross-section is derived for an arbitrary deformation field. The conditions are discussed under which the influence of the deformation is important. The case is considered in detail when the electron enters into the crystal at small angles with respect to a crystallographic axis. It is shown that in dependence of the parameters, the presence of the deformation can either enhance or reduce the bremsstrahlung cross-section.

AbstractThe Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) is a future electron–positron collider that will allow measurements of the trilinear Higgs self-coupling in double Higgs boson events produced at its high-energy stages with collision energies from $$\sqrt{s}$$ s  = 1.4 to 3 TeV. The sensitivity to the Higgs self-coupling is driven by the measurements of the cross section and the invariant mass distribution of the Higgs-boson pair in the W-boson fusion process, $$\text {e}^{+}\text {e}^{-}\rightarrow {\text {H}\text {H}\nu \bar{\nu }}$$ e + e - → HH ν ν ¯ . It is enhanced by including the cross-section measurement of ZHH production at 1.4 TeV. The expected sensitivity of CLIC for Higgs pair production through W-boson fusion is studied for the decay channels $$\mathrm{b}\bar{\mathrm{b}}\mathrm{b}\bar{\mathrm{b}}$$ b b ¯ b b ¯   and $$\mathrm{b}\bar{\mathrm{b}}\mathrm{W}\mathrm{W}^{*}$$ b b ¯ W W ∗   using full detector simulation including all relevant backgrounds at $$\sqrt{s}$$ s = 1.4 TeV with an integrated luminosity of $$\mathcal {L}$$ L  = 2.5 ab$$^{-1}$$ - 1 and at $$\sqrt{s}$$ s = 3 TeV with $$\mathcal {L}$$ L  = 5 ab$$^{-1}$$ - 1 . Combining $$\text {e}^{+}\text {e}^{-}\rightarrow {\text {H}\text {H}\nu \bar{\nu }}$$ e + e - → HH ν ν ¯ and ZHH  cross-section measurements at 1.4 TeV with differential measurements in $$\text {e}^{+}\text {e}^{-}\rightarrow {\text {H}\text {H}\nu \bar{\nu }}$$ e + e - → HH ν ν ¯ events at 3 TeV, CLIC will be able to measure the trilinear Higgs self-coupling with a relative uncertainty of $$-8\%$$ - 8 % and $$ +11\%$$ + 11 % at 68% C.L., assuming the Standard Model. In addition, prospects for simultaneous constraints on the trilinear Higgs self-coupling and the Higgs-gauge coupling HHWW are derived based on the $${\text {H}\text {H}\nu \bar{\nu }}$$ HH ν ν ¯ measurement.

Unitarity bounds for the differential cross-section of high-energy elastic hadron-hadron scattering are obtained under the constraints of fixed total cross-section σt, elasticity x, real part to imaginary part ratio ρ of the forward scattering amplitude, and forward slope b by assuming a finite interaction range. The obtained upper bound has an observed curvature structure at small momentum transfers and is nearly saturated by the experimental data of pp and [Formula: see text] scattering at −t=0−0.3 (GeV/c)2 in the energy region [Formula: see text] , if we take the interaction radius scaled as [Formula: see text].

We present the most recent precision electroweak measurements of single W and Z boson cross section and properties from the LHC and Tevatron colliders, analyzing data collected by ATLAS, CDF, CMS, D0, and LHCb detectors. The results include the measurement of the single W and Z boson cross section at LHC, the differential cross section measurements, the measurement of W boson mass, the measurement of W and Z charge asymmetry. These measurements provide precision tests on the electroweak theory, high order predictions and the information can be used to constraint parton distribution functions.
