In many cases, criterion values are crisp in nature, and their values are determined by economic instruments, mathematical models, and/or by engineering measurement. However, there are situations when the evaluation of alternatives must include the imprecision of established criteria, and the development of a fuzzy multicriteria decision model is necessary to deal with either "qualitative" (unquantifiable or linguistic) or incomplete information. The proposed fuzzy multicriteria decision model (FMCDM) consists of two phases: the CFCS phase - Converting the Fuzzy data into Crisp Scores, and the MCDM phase - MultiCriteria Decision Making. This model is applicable for defuzzification within the MCDM model with a mixed set of crisp and fuzzy criteria. A newly developed CFCS method is based on the procedure of determining the left and right scores by fuzzy min and fuzzy max, respectively, and the total score is determined as a weighted average according to the membership functions. The advantage of this defuzzification method is illustrated by some examples, comparing the results from three considered methods.

Neutrosophic set (NS) is a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS). It depicts not only the incomplete information but also the indeterminate information and inconsistent information which exist commonly in belief systems. In this paper, the evaluation based on distance from average solution (EDAS) method is extended to handle multicriteria decision-making problems with multivalued neutrosophic numbers (MVNNs). The average solution under all the criteria is calculated by the proposed convex weighted average operator of MVNNs. Then, the positive distance and the negative distance from each solution to the average solution are calculated, and the comprehensive evaluations of alternatives are obtained by integrating two kinds of distance values to get the ranking result. Finally, the rationality and efficiency of the proposed method are shown by the parameter analysis and comparisons with some existing methods.

A procedure based on fuzzy multicriteria decision making is developed for evaluation and ranking of tribomaterials. Tribomaterial properties which influence performance of triboelements at operational stage are considered as criteria for evaluation of tribomaterial. Tribomaterial properties, weighting factors and desired values are converted into fuzzy membership functions called trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Tribomaterial ranking index is evaluated from weighted fuzzy tribomaterial suitability value for various degrees of optimism through a series of fuzzy arithmetic operations. Higher the value of index better is ranking of tribomaterial. A step by step procedure for evaluation and ranking of tribomaterial is suggested. An example of plain bearing has been presented for illustration of the procedure.

In this paper, we examine the multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) difficulties for Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft sets (PFHSSs). The PFHSSs are a suitable extension of the Pythagorean fuzzy soft sets (PFSSs) which deliberates the parametrization of multi-subattributes of considered parameters. It is a most substantial notion for describing fuzzy information in the decision-making (DM) procedure to accommodate more vagueness comparative to existing PFSSs and intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft sets (IFHSSs). The core objective of this study is to plan some innovative operational laws considering the interaction for Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft numbers (PFHSNs). Also, based on settled interaction operational laws, two aggregation operators (AOs) i.e., Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft interaction weighted average (PFHSIWA) and Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft interaction weighted geometric (PFHSIWG) operators for PFHSSs operators have been presented with their fundamental properties. Furthermore, an MCDM technique has been established using planned interaction AOs. To ensure the strength and practicality of the developed MCDM method, a mathematical illustration has been presented. The usefulness, influence, and versatility of the developed method have been demonstrated via comparative analysis with the help of some conventional studies.

Similarity measures (SM) and correlation coefficients (CC) are used to solve many problems. These problems include vague and imprecise information, excluding the inability to deal with general vagueness and numerous information problems. The main purpose of this research is to propose an m-polar interval-valued neutrosophic soft set (mPIVNSS) by merging the m-polar fuzzy set and interval-valued neutrosophic soft set and then study various operations based on the proposed notion, such as AND operator, OR operator, truth-favorite, and false-favorite operators with their properties. This research also puts forward the concept of the necessity and possibility operations of mPIVNSS and also the m-polar interval-valued neutrosophic soft weighted average operator (mPIVNSWA) with its desirable properties. Cosine and set-theoretic similarity measures have been proposed for mPIVNSS using Bhattacharya distance and discussed their fundamental properties. Furthermore, we extend the concept of CC and weighted correlation coefficient (WCC) for mPIVNSS and presented their necessary characteristics. Moreover, utilizing the mPIVNSWA operator, CC, and SM developed three novel algorithms for mPIVNSS to solve the multicriteria decision-making problem. Finally, the advantages, effectiveness, flexibility, and comparative analysis of the developed algorithms are given with the prevailing techniques.

The Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft set (PFHSS) is the most advanced extension of the intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft set (IFHSS) and a suitable extension of the Pythagorean fuzzy soft set. In it, we discuss the parameterized family that contracts with the multi-subattributes of the parameters. The PFHSS is used to correctly assess insufficiencies, anxiety, and hesitancy in decision-making (DM). It is the most substantial notion for relating fuzzy data in the DM procedure, which can accommodate more uncertainty compared to available techniques considering membership and nonmembership values of each subattribute of given parameters. In this paper, we will present the operational laws for Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft numbers (PFHSNs) and also some fundamental properties such as idempotency, boundedness, shift-invariance, and homogeneity for Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft weighted average (PFHSWA) and Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft weighted geometric (PFHSWG) operators. Furthermore, a novel multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) approach has been established utilizing presented aggregation operators (AOs) to resolve decision-making complications. To validate the useability and pragmatism of the settled technique, a brief comparative analysis has been conducted with some existing approaches.

The uses and management of capital is extremely important to the operation of any businesses. However, not all businesses have available capital, so the use of loans in many different forms is always an effective solution in managing corporate finance. Accompanying with businesses, many financial leasing companies have implemented products and programs to lend money to businesses with low interest rates. So, choosing the best financial leasing company is a primary concern of businesses. To increase competitiveness, financial leasing companies often offer preferential conditions to attract businesses. Choosing the best financial leasing service to leasing is important and necessary to those businesses. Thus, the selection of a financial leasing company by small and medium enterprises benefits from the application of Multicriteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods which allows the decision maker to consider various qualitative and quantitative criteria. In this article, the author applied Fuzzy Analytical Network Process (FANP) to calculate the related criteria weights of the financial leasing company selection problem of businesses. Then, the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is applied to rank the potential decision-making units. This research establishes one complete and efficient model for financial leasing company selection using FANP and TOPSIS methods. The proposed model is then applied into a real-world case study to demonstrate its feasibility.
