With the constantly changing patterns of war, more technologically exquisite weapons are designed, increasing in cost and complexity. Training maneuvers with live ammunition are expensive and are prone to accidental casualties. Thus, many countries are gradually adopting simulation training systems to replace some actual exercises to reduce casualties and still maintain maximum combat readiness. However, each simulation training system has a different background with regard to time, source, function goal, and quality of environment and staff. It is also more difficult to assess the benefit of simulation training systems. Moreover, traditional benefit assessments of military simulation training systems have merely considered their efficiency, not safety, causing biased conclusions. To solve these issues, this paper integrates the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), important-performance analysis (IPA), and the 2-tuple fuzzy linguistic representation model to determine the benefits of simulation training systems. To verify the proposed approach, a numerical example of the evaluation of a training simulator system’s benefit is adopted. Compared with the traditional AHP method, the proposed method does not lose any valuable information that is provided by experts and also considers training safety. Further, these data are presented in 2-dimensional graphs for managers to further guide the decision-making process.

We frist establish the evaluation index system according to the characteristics of the simulation training system through analysis, and second , we calculate the index weight use improved gray analytic hierarchy process which simplify the steps of the original analytic hierarchy process. Third we use the Delphi method to establish the membership degree of every evaluation index, and finally we use fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to get the evaluation results of the simulation training system, the results show that the evaluation model is consistency to the expert assessment , meet the actual needs, is an effective method of power system simulation training assessment.

According to the research status of the public buildings benefit evaluation, this thesis proposes that the evaluation should pay more attention to the comprehensive benefit. On this basis, a new evaluation model for the comprehensive benefit has been constructed by better using FAHP in this field, which has been proved by the Xuzhou Olympic Sports Center project. The research shows that applying FAHP to the public buildings benefit evaluation can make the result more reliable, which has good practicability and application value.

Integration of industry and education is a strategic measure to address the structural imbalance issues in the scientific and technological development and industrial transformation, as well as educational system. Currently, joint efforts of governments, universities, and enterprises have achieved improvements in integrating education and various related industries. However, the evaluation of industry-education integration has not received sufficient attention it deserves. Based on the context-input-process-product (CIPP) evaluation model, this paper proposes an evaluation index system for urban industry-education integration. Considering the vagueness and uncertainty of the indexes, the evaluation model is established using intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (IFAHP) method and 2-tuple linguistic information representation approach. A case study indicates that industry-education integration environment is the most important division of evaluation, with local regulation being the most important evaluation index. The evaluation model is proven to be effective in improving the urban industry-education integration.

As water abundance of aquifer of coal roof significantly influences roof water hazard, evaluating and grading the degree of water abundance are important in practical application. By analyzing the influencing factors of water abundance of aquifer, an evaluation index system and a grading standard for the water abundance were established integrating quantitative and qualitative indexes. Meanwhile, according to the grey relation characteristics of the major factors influencing water abundance, a multi-factor evaluation model for water abundance was constructed based on grey relational analysis and analytic hierarchy process. The model can objectively reveal the influences of the multiple factors on the evaluation of water abundance. Furthermore, the method was verified by comprehensively evaluating the water abundance of the aquifer of coal roof in a working face of Pingshuo Coal Mine in Shanxi, China using the model. The method provides basis for the research on the evaluation of water abundance of aquifer in coal roof.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to find out a scientific method to evaluate quality of complex products, whose quality is different from general products. Design/methodology/approach – Based on interval grey number theory, reliability analysis method and stochastic network theory, authors have established grey success tree analysis-graph evaluation and review technique (GSTA-GERT) model in this paper. Findings – Comparing complex products and general products, authors have found that complex products have two characters, i.e. quality of manufacture and quality of service. Furthermore, this paper has proved the GSTA-GERT model is a scientific and reasonable approach to estimate quality of complex products from the sight of manufacture-service network. Originality/value – This paper has established GSTA-GERT model, which surmounts the defect of traditional estimation method, such as lacking logic analysis in the method of analytic hierarchy process.

The paper introduces some information about Harbin Metro line 1, makes the decision analysis on economies, environment, society and geological environment of Harbin Metro line 1 by some fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, and gives the weight coefficients of indicators through analytic hierarchy process. The comprehensive evaluation result provides the basis for decision-makers during decision of metro projects.
