The development and testing of intelligent liquid transportation security system are being reported in this paper. The targeted fluid to be secured was ethanol alcohol and this was due to the theft cases occurring during the transportation of this product from the supplier to the customer. The system was developed such that only the radar level sensor (VEGAPULS 62) might be in contact with the fluid and the rest of the system remained outside the liquid carrying container to be secured. The system was developed such that it reports any abnormal liquid level drop through short message service (SMS). The functioning of the developed system was tested through the use of 1040 L Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) filled with water which was hauled for about 1.5 km. The liquid theft was simulated and the system sent two SMS. The first SMS reported the beginning of water level drop and the second one reported the ending of water level drop. The second SMS reported the amount of liquid that was taken out of the container.

AbstrakKeamanan server merupakan hal penting yang perlu diberikan perhatian lebih saat melakukan konfigurasi server. Pada umumnya serangan yang terjadi pada server diketahui setelah terjadinya kegagalan pada server dalam memberikan layanan. Pada penelitian ini, dibangun sebuah sistem keamanan server yang dapat melakukan monitoring pada sebuah server ketika terdeteksi adanya aktivitas yang tidak wajar. Pemberitahuan akan dikirimkan melalui SMS (Short Message Service) ke handphone Administrator jaringan. Sistem yang dibangun melakukan pendeteksian intrusi pada server secara realtime menggunakan SNORT. Ketika terjadi akses yang tidak wajar pada server, maka SNORT akan mendeteksi dan mengirimkan informasi terjadinya aktivitas yang tidak wajar ke Administrator jaringan. Sistem ini diujikan dengan lima jenis serangan yakni PING Attack, DoS/DDoS Attack, Port Scanning, Telnet Access dan FTP Access. Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah beban aktivitas yang terjadi pada sumber daya server meliputi CPU, Memory (RAM) dan beban jaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat terjadi upaya serangan terhadap server, SNORT dapat menghasilkan alert yang akan disimpan pada log sekaligus dikirimkan ke handphone Administrator melalui SMS. AbstractServer security is an important thing that needs to be given more attention when configuring a server. In general, attacks that occur on the server are known after a failure on the server in providing services. In this study, a server security system was built that could monitor a server when an unusual activity was detected. Notifications will be sent via SMS (Short Message Service) to the network Administrator's smartphone. The system is built to detect intrusions on the server in real time using SNORT. When improper access occurs on the server, SNORT will detect and send information about the occurrence of unusual activity to the network Administrator. This system is tested with five types of attacks namely PING Attack, DoS / DDoS Attack, Port Scanning, Telnet Access and FTP Access. The parameters observed in this study are the activity load that occurs on server resources including CPU, Memory (RAM) and network load. The results showed that when an attempt was made to attack the server, SNORT could produce alerts that would be stored in a log as well as sent to the Administrator's smartphone via SMS.

ABSTRACT The slow handling of the flooding problem for people who live on riverbanks and densely populated areas in urban areas due to the lack of preliminary information obtained by the local community, causing huge losses both morally, materially and even causing fatalities. Based on these problems, a prototype monitoring system for flooding early detection was made with the aim that it can be used as a means of information whose data can be accessed through notifications in the form of short message services (SMS) in real time. In making this research, data collection was carried out in the form of water level data that had occurred at the location of the flood and then made the system design and implementation of that system by conducting trials in the field. This early flood detection system works by monitoring the water level using a level control system. This water level monitoring uses an ultrasonic sensor that is controlled using an arduino uno microcontroller. Data information about the water level is forwarded to the GSM module in the form of a notification message of SMS to the public. For the working of this prototype device in the design, the author uses an electrical power supply from renewable energy in the form of On Grid PLTS system. The results obtained from this research are for normal status the water level is at 5-50 cm, for alert status is 55-85 cm and for danger status is 90-100 cm. Keywords:   Water Level, Ultrasonic Sensor, Arduino Uno Microcontroller, GSM Module, On Grid PLTS System   ABSTRAK Lambatnya penanganan masalah banjir bagi masyarakat yang tinggal di daerah bantaran pinggiran sungai maupun kawasan padat penduduk yang berada di perkotaan dikarenakan kurangnya informasi awal yang diperoleh oleh masyarakat setempat sehingga menyebabkan kerugian yang sangat besar baik secara moril, materil bahkan sampai menimbulkan korban jiwa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dibuat suatu prototype sistem monitoring pendeteksi dini banjir dengan tujuan dapat digunakan sebagai sarana informasi yang datanya dapat diakses melalui notifikasi berupa short message service (SMS) secara real time. Dalam membuat penelitian ini dilakukan pengumpulan data berupa data level ketinggian air yang pernah terjadi di lokasi banjir kemudian membuat perancangan sistem serta pengimplementasian dari sistem yang dibuat dengan melakukan uji coba di lapangan. Sistem pendeteksi dini banjir ini bekerja dengan cara memantau level ketinggian air menggunakan sistem level control. Pemantauan level ketinggian air ini menggunakan sensor ultrasonik yang dikontrol menggunakan mikrokontroller arduino uno. Informasi berupa data-data mengenai level ketinggian air ini diteruskan ke modul GSM berupa pesan notifikasi dalam bentuk SMS kepada masyarakat. Untuk bekerjanya perangkat prototype ini dalam rancangannya penulis menggunakan suplai daya listrik dari renewable energy berupa sistem PLTS On Grid. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa untuk status normal level ketinggian air berada pada angka 5-50 cm, untuk status siaga berada pada angka  55-85 cm dan untuk status bahaya berada pada angka 90-100 cm. Short Message Service (SMS) is working on a wireless network that allows the theft of the message contents. There are risks that could threaten the security of the contents of the message on SMS services, including SMS snooping, and SMS interception. Therefore, it takes security system messages on SMS services to maintain the security and integrity of the message content to cover the security messages. Algorithms Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) using a structure SPN (Substitution Permutation Network) structure, which has the disadvantage of encryption and decryption, so the safety level is low. To cover the security hole of these weaknesses, the researchers conducted the improvement of Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm security system based on android SMS using Vigenere algorithm, so that the level of security and integrity of the content of the short message becomes higher and difficult to solve. The results showed an average increase in percentage value of the avalanche effect from 37.24% to 42.96%. Keywords—Advanced Encryption Standard, android, message security, encryption.

The purpose of this research is to produce a prototype of measuring the flow and height of river water that can help to find out in monitoring the flow and height of river water remotely by using SMS (Short Message Service) on the cellphone. So that it can anticipate before the occurrence of catastrophic floods caused by the height and flow of the river that exceeds the limit. The device used to build a flow meter and river water level with an arduino-based SMS Gateway is a GSM module, Ultrasonic sensor, Water Flow sensor, arduino uno and an arduino IDE application that functions to include programs on arduino The system development method in this research is the RAD method (Rapid) Application Development) and the stages are requirements planning, design workshops and implementation. The way it works on this system is that if the user sends an SMS to the device, the tool will provide information on the strength of the flow and height of the river water using the SMS Gateway facility and the user can find out the information about the current strength and height of the river water via SMS contained on the handphone.

Perkembangan yang sangat pesat terjadi pada bidang teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi saat ini mendorong masyarakta dunia memasuki era revolusi industri 4.0 yang serba cepat, sekaligus menjadikan informasi sentral dalam dunia industri maupun dunia usaha hingga dunia pendidikan. Akademi Teknik dan Keselamatan Penerbangan (ATKP) Medan merupakan institusi pendidikan di bawah naungan pemerintah yang sudah mulai menggunakan berbagai hal teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi. Dengan adanya perkembangan tersebut berdampak memeberikan fasilitas yang dapat digunakan oleh pengguna layanan komunikasi, dan informasi, seperti Short Message Service (SMS) hingga sistem berbasis aplikasi menggunakan smartphone android maupun iOS. Layanan aplikasi sms hingga sistem aplikasi tersebut adalah teknologi yang memungkinkan manusia untuk mendapatkan atau mengirimkankan informasi kapanpun dan dimanapun dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem aplikasi monitoring evaluasi pelaporan kegiatan taruna di ATKP medan berbasis web app. Dalam pembuatannya, aplikasi ini disesuaikan dengan kenutuhan user/orang tua taruna dan institusi ATKP secara umum. Sistem aplikasi ini akan memberikan kemudahan kepada orang tua taruna dalam memonitoring, kegiatan hingga prilaku taruna selama pendidikan di ATKP Medan serta  kemudahan mengakses nilai dengan cepat. Sistem aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman php (web).

Anemia merupakan salah satu penyebab terjadinya perdarahan dan bisa mengakibatkan kematian pada ibu hamil. Suplementasi besi merupakan program pemerintah dalam mengatasi anemia pada wanita hamil dan beberapa wanita hamil masih ada yang belum patuh dalam mengkonsumsi tablet besi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah metode yang bisa meningkatkan kepatuhan wanita hamil dalam mengonsumsi tablet besi yaitu dengan short message service (SMS) reminder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas SMS reminderterhadap kepatuhan konsumsi tablet besi pada ibu hamil di (unit pelayanan terpadu) UPT Puskesmas Cibuntu Kota Bandung. Rancangan penelitian quasi experimentaldengan desain posttest-only with control group designdengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan April–Mei tahun 2014 di Puskesmas X Kota Bandung. Sampel berjumlah 40 orang wanita hamil yang tidak patuh dalam mengonsumsi tablet besi yang dibagi menjadi 20 kelompok intervensi dan 20 kelompok kontrol. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dalam bentuk self report.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar kelompok intervensi 17 orang (85%) patuh dan sebagian besar kelompok kontrol 16 orang (80%) tidak patuh. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan chi squaredidapatkan p(0.000) dengan taraf signifikan <0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa SMS reminder efektif terhadap kepatuhan konsumsi tablet besi pada wanita hamil dan bisa dijadikan bahan pertimbangan bagi pihak Puskesmas untuk menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak provideratau mengajukan dana ke Dinas Kesehatan untuk mengaktifkan SMS reminderdi Puskesmas.Kata kunci: Kepatuhan, SMS reminder,tablet besi, wanita hamil AbstractAnemia is one of the leading causes of hemorrhage during pregnancy, and it can cause death to expectant mothers. Iron supplementation is a government program to overcome anemia among expectant mothers, and some of the expectant mothers still do not obediently consume iron tablets. Therefore, to increase the obedience of the expectant mothers on consuming the iron tablets, SMS reminder is the appropriate method needed. This research aims to identify the effectiveness of SMS reminder to the obedience of iron tablets consumption among expectant mothers at UPT Puskesmas Cibuntu , Bandung. The research employed quasi-experimental design with posttest-only control group design using purposive sampling technique. The research was held on April–May 2014 at UPT Puskesmas Cibuntu, Bandung. Forty expectant mothers consuming iron tablets disobediently divided into 20 intervention groups and 20 control groups were taken as the samples. Questionnaire in form of self report was used to obtain data. In addition, descriptive analysis and chi square test were applied to analyze the data. The result of the research showed that 17 persons (85%) of intervention groups were mostly obedient, and 16 persons (80%) of control groups were mostly disobedient. From the analysis using chi square, it was found the difference of the obedience of iron tablets consumption after SMS reminder (p=0.00) had been delivered with significant level <0.05. Based on the result of this research, SMS reminder had an effective impact toward the obedience of iron tablets consumption among the expectant mothers. The result will be a good consideration for Puskesmas to cooperate with provider or proposed some funds to Dinas Kesehatan to activate SMS reminder.Key words:Expectant mothers, obedience, SMS reminder, iron tablets
