In recent years, because the complex system discrete model has brought good results in the application of many research directions such as human management analysis, control system prediction, and animal group prediction, how to combine the complex system discrete model with the prediction of enterprise brand communication effect has become a current research hotspot. Based on this, this paper studies the application of the discrete model based on the complex system in sports club to enterprise brand communication and designs a model of the impact of professional sports club on enterprise brand communication based on the SIR model and PSO algorithm. Firstly, this paper analyzes the research status of the impact on enterprise brand communication at home and abroad and optimizes and improves the impact of professional sports clubs on enterprise brand communication and the shortcomings of big data analysis technology in the current research. The complex system discrete model can accurately analyze the enterprise brand communication and conduct big data mining analysis with known professional sports clubs to achieve accurate calculation. The results show that in the process of analyzing the impact of professional sports clubs and enterprise brand communication, the communication mode design of professional sports clubs based on SIR-PSO algorithm can not only effectively deal with various complex discrete data evaluated by club users but also analyze and evaluate the impact of professional sports clubs on enterprise brand communication.

The paper aims at analysing Croatian professional sport and the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on it. Football was taken as a model for other team sports because of the share of professional sports clubs in the Republic of Croatia in football. In addition, the legal framework set in football may apply to other sports for successfully developing a similar pattern. The analyses are conducted into the revenues (sponsorships, ticketing and TV rights), and expenses (expenses on behalf of players remuneration) of the football clubs in the First Croatian Football League, providing an overview of the professional status of sports clubs, athletes and coaches. It also encompasses an analysis into measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Croatia to support Croatian sport during the COVID-19 crisis. The COVID-19 crisis has been taken as a possible starting position for better regulation of sports in future, especially as regards the professional sports in the Republic of Croatia contributing significantly to the promotion of the Republic of Croatia worldwide.

AbstractThe study is devoted to the issue of the impact of sports club insolvency in Poland on the right to participate in league games. In this respect, not only the regulation of insolvency law is of the key importance. There are also crucial organizational rules established by the sports association (the Polish Football Association—Polski Związek Piłki Nożnej) determining admission to league games of only such sports clubs which have adequate financial liquidity. It should be stressed that the Polish Football Association (hereinafter “PZPN”) regulations do not allow to take part in competitions sports club in bankruptcy. This topic has become particularly relevant in 2020 in the context of the economic consequences of the unexpected pandemic of SARS-CoV-2. The paper deals with some legal aspects of lex sportiva and with the basic model of organization of the professional football league in Poland as well.

With the rapid development of the Internet, the amount of data increases sharply. In this network age, data have been generated, such as multimedia, social networks, and search records. Due to the generation of data, complex system discrete model technology is also widely used in all walks of life. Multimedia learning is a popular teaching mode in the world. Through the discrete model technology of the complex system, this paper deeply studies the impact of multimedia input on college students’ English ability. Because the modeling and sampling of complex systems are abstract and not fixed, approximation and control methods are adopted in discrete time, which greatly improves the reliability of the final research results. Compared with the original discrete modeling technology, this paper adds data sampling compression and assimilation technology on the basis of the original discrete modeling technology of the complex system. The results show that, by adding the technical application of controllable and observable systems, the discrete model of the whole complex system can reduce the error of the final output data. At the same time, this paper compresses and simplifies the data nodes at the microlevel. Macroscopically, it reduces the scale, especially the number of node data compression. The final result also realizes the data scale and greatly shortens the calculation time. This study has greatly improved the accuracy of the impact of multimedia on Chinese college students’ English ability in practical application.

The precarious financial condition of sports clubs, combined with negative cash flows and permanent losses, can be the cause of the further collapse of the entire football industry. This is largely due to the European model of the implementation of sports activities, when in the pursuit of a sports result, the basic principles of building a business and financial efficiency go to the background. The article has been devoted to the search questions of an effective business model for the further development of the professional sports industry, taking into account the modern requirements of a market economy. The arguments, that the financial rules, introduced by Union of European Football Associations, will make football clubs profitable projects attractive to investors, are given in the article.

Objective: The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) is part of the cultural fabric of Irish society with a club in almost every community nationwide. The aim of this project was to carry out a pilot evaluation of the GAA Healthy Club Project (HCP), which is a unique effort by a national governing body to include health as part of the core business of the organisation at grass roots level. Design: A pre–post intervention group only design was used across 18 clubs recruited to a pilot phase of the project. Setting: GAA grassroots sports clubs across Ireland. Methods: Twelve Healthy Club Officers completed a self-evaluation survey of their club at two time points to indicate the health promotion orientation of their club and the extent of health promotion activity in the club. Results: Data showed improvements in the health promotion orientation of clubs, from moderate to high health promoting overall and particular increases in policy and practice scores. This is likely due to the widespread appointment of Healthy Club Officers and the delivery of health-related initiatives in clubs. Conclusion: The impact of the project, while not demonstrable as an intervention effect at this stage, was real for the clubs involved. The GAA HCP is a novel way of carrying out health promotion in Ireland, serving as a meeting point between the ‘push of health’ and ‘pull of the sports club’.

Lubricant and/or glue? The role of social network sites in voluntary sports clubs Although almost every voluntary sports club (VSC) in the Netherlands facilitates one or more social network sites (SNSs), the impact on attitude and behaviour of members is under researched. Our study aims to examine whether members’ use of organizational social network sites of their sports clubs (ClubSNS use) is a mediating factor for (1) supporting the sports club, and (2) continuing membership. Building on research among runners, we conducted a conceptual replication study of Mahan III, Seo, Jordan and Funk (2015). Results from a survey among members of voluntary sports clubs (n = 1009) revealed that ClubSNS use was a mediator to supportive and loyal membership. This research demonstrates the theoretical potential of organizational SNSs for activating and retaining members. Furthermore, practical implications and suggestions for further research are discussed.
