This study was to explore the application value of computed tomography (CT) images processed by intelligent algorithm denoising in the evaluation of humanized nursing in postoperative neuroendocrine hormone changes in patients with primary liver cancer (PLC). In this study, a simple-structured recursive residual coding and decoding (RRCD) algorithm was constructed on the basis of residual network, which can effectively remove artifacts and noise in CT images and can also restore image details and lesion features well. In addition, 60 postoperative patients with primary liver cancer were collected and divided into routine nursing control group (30 cases) and humanized nursing experimental group (30 cases). After a period of nursing, CT images based on intelligent algorithms were evaluated by determining the hormone content. The results showed that the focal necrosis rate (FNR) of the experimental group was 6%. The adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) levels of 6 and 15 days after admission (T3 and T4) were 41.25 ± 3.81 pg/mL and 19.55 ± 1.72 pg/mL, respectively. The cortisol levels of days 6, 15, and 30 after admission (T3, T4, and T5) were 424.86 ± 16.82 nmol/L, 277.98 ± 14.36 nmol/L, and 241.53 ± 13.27 nmol/L, respectively. Estradiol levels were 53.48 ± 11.19 pg/mL, 41.64 ± 9.28 pg/mL, and 30.59 ± 8.16 pg/mL, respectively. Testosterone levels were 2.18 ± 1.14 ng/mL, 1.78 ± 1.03 ng/mL, and 1.42 ± 0.69 ng/mL, respectively. Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) scores were 40.24 ± 5.81 points, 36.55 ± 5.02 points, and 32.53 ± 4.8 points, respectively. There were 24 cases, 27 cases, 23 cases, and 21 patients who followed no smoking and drinking, taking medication on time, diet control, and self-monitoring. The scores of physical function, self-cognition, emotional function, and social function were 62.59 ± 6.82 points, 69.26 ± 8.14 points, 73.89 ± 6.35 points, and 66.88 ± 7.04 points, which were better than those of the control group in all aspects ( P < 0.05 ). In short, the humanized nursing course can enhance the compliance of the patients after the surgery, improve the quality of life, and inhibit the anxiety and depression of the patients, so it showed a positive effect on the neuroendocrine hormones and the prognosis of the patients.

The objective of this study was to analyze the application of proportional hazard mathematical model (PHMM) in Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) infection analysis of interventional liver cancer patients treated with entecavir, so as to provide data support for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Based on the survival analysis, the treatment factor x was undertaken as an independent variable to perform linear regression. The regression model took the hazard rate function as the dependent variable to establish an exponential regression equation to construct a PHMM. 136 patients with primary liver cancer receiving interventional chemoembolization combined with the drug (entecavir) were selected as the experimental group, who were in the computer gene expression omnibus (GEO). 87 patients with primary liver cancer who underwent interventional chemoembolization therapy without antiviral treatment were taken as the control group. The PHMM was adopted for comprehensive analysis. In addition, the factors affecting the virological response to antiviral therapy were analyzed using the multiple logistic regression. The results revealed that HBV deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) negative conversion rate, Hepatitis B e-Antigen (HBeAg) negative conversion rate, and HBeAg serological conversion rate in the experimental group were much higher than those in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). HBV DNA level and proportion of HBsAg <100 IU/mL in the experimental group were much lower than those in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). The virological breakthrough rate and incidence of adverse events at week 24 in the experimental group were greatly lower than those in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). The adverse virological response of patient was positively correlated with HBV DNA load and HBeAg status and negatively correlated with alanine aminotransferase (ALT) level ( P < 0.05 ). Therefore, entecavir can significantly inhibit HBV DNA replication in patients with liver cancer, showing high antiviral effect. High baseline HBV DNA load, positive HBeAg, and low baseline alanine aminotransferase levels were independent risk factors for adverse virology response to entecavir antiviral therapy, which provided a reference for the selection of antiviral drugs for HBV infection.

Primary liver cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in China. Currently, immunotherapy for liver cancer is a research hotspot. Experimental studies and epidemiological investigations have confirmed the antineoplastic activity of low ionizing radiation. The aim of this study was to explore the optimal dose of low ionizing radiation to enhance immune function. Twenty-five New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into five groups (n = 5 each): experimental group 1 (25 mGy), experimental group 2 (50 mGy), experimental group 3 (75 mGy), experimental group 4 (100 mGy), and the control group (0 mGy). VX-2 tumor tissue was injected into rabbits using a high-frequency B-ultrasound probe (3.5 MHz). Rabbits were irradiated, and on day 4 after irradiation, blood was collected from each rabbit. Blood chemistry, interleukin (IL)-4, interferon (IFN)-γ, immunoglobulin (Ig)G, and IgM levels were assessed. On day 15 after irradiation, macrophage phagocytic function was assessed. The rabbits were sacrificed, and the spleen was removed and weighed to calculate its spleen index. Each parameter was highest in the experimental group 3 (75 mGy). Thus, we suspect the optimal low ionizing radiation dose to improve immune function may be 75 mGy.

The performance characteristics of deep learning fully convolutional neural network (DLFCNN) algorithm-based computed tomography (CT) images were investigated in the detection and diagnosis of perianal abscess tissue. 60 patients who were medically diagnosed as perianal abscesses in the hospital were selected as the experimental group, and 60 healthy volunteers were selected as the control group. In this study, the DLFCNN algorithm based on deep learning was compared with the CNN algorithm and applied to the segmentation training of CT images of patients with perianal abscesses. Then, the segmentation metrics Jaccard, Dice coefficient, precision rate, and recall rate were compared by extracting the region of interest. The results showed that Jaccard (0.7326) calculated by the CNN algorithm was sharply lower than that of the DLFCNN algorithm (0.8525), and the Dice coefficient (0.7264) was also steeply lower than that of the DLFCNN algorithm (0.8434) ( P < 0.05 ). The thickness range of the epidermis and dermis in patients from the experimental group was 4.1–4.9 mm, which was markedly greater than the range of the control group (1.8–3.6 mm) ( P < 0.05 ). Besides, the CT value of the subcutaneous fascia in the experimental group (−95.45 ± 8.26) hugely reduced compared with the control group (−76.34 ± 7.69) ( P < 0.05 ). The accuracy rate of the patients with perianal abscesses was 96.67% by multislice spiral CT (MSCT). Therefore, the DLFCNN algorithm in this study had good stability and good segmentation effect. The skin at the focal site of anal abscess was obviously thickened, and it was simple and accurate to use CT images in the diagnosis of patients with perianal abscesses, which could effectively locate the lesion and clarify the relationship between the lesion and the surrounding structure.

The study of follow-up liver computed tomography (CT) images is required for the early diagnosis and treatment evaluation of liver cancer. Although this requirement has been manually performed by doctors, the demands on computer-aided diagnosis are dramatically growing according to the increased amount of medical image data by the recent development of CT. However, conventional image segmentation, registration, and skeletonization methods cannot be directly applied to clinical data due to the characteristics of liver CT images varying largely by patients and contrast agents. In this paper, we propose non-rigid liver segmentation using elastic method with global and local deformation for follow-up liver CT images. To manage intensity differences between two scans, we extract the liver vessel and parenchyma in each scan. And our method binarizes the segmented liver parenchyma and vessel, and performs the registration to minimize the intensity difference between these binarized images of follow-up CT images. The global movements between follow-up CT images are corrected by rigid registration based on liver surface. The local deformations between follow-up CT images are modeled by non-rigid registration, which aligns images using non-rigid transformation, based on locally deformable model. Our method can model the global and local deformation between follow-up liver CT scans by considering the deformation of both the liver surface and vessel. In experimental results using twenty clinical datasets, our method matches the liver effectively between follow-up portal phase CT images, enabling the accurate assessment of the volume change of the liver cancer. The proposed registration method can be applied to the follow-up study of various organ diseases, including cardiovascular diseases and lung cancer.

Objective. To investigate the clinical effect of iodine-125 seed implantation combined with chemotherapy in patients with primary liver cancer and the effect on peripheral blood Th1/Th2 cells. Methods. A total of 136 patients with primary liver cancer from April 2017 to June 2018 were selected as subjects and randomly divided into the control group and observation group with 68 cases in each group. The control group was treated with chemotherapy, and the observation group was treated with iodine-125 seed implantation on the basis of the control group. After 3 months of treatment, the curative effect was investigated. Serum tumor markers, peripheral blood Th1/Th2 cells, and side effects and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results. The levels of serum tumor markers in both groups at 3 months after treatment were lower than before treatment ( P < 0.05 ). Three months after treatment, the levels of tumor markers AFP, AFP-L3, and GP73 in the observation group were 14.61 ± 3.49 μg/L, 3.29 ± 0.41 ng/mL, and 51.24 ± 4.51 μg/L, respectively, which were lower than those in the control group, 32.53 ± 4.59 μg/L, 5.63 ± 0.63 ng/mL, and 71.52 ± 6.05 μg/L ( P < 0.05 ). At 3 months after treatment, the level of including interleukin-2 (IL-2) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in Th1 cells of the observation group was higher than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ), whereas the levels of IL-4, IL-6, and IL-10 in Th2 cells were lower than those in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, and gastrointestinal reactions between the two groups ( P > 0.05 ). The recurrence rate of the observation group at 12, 24, and 36 months after treatment was lower than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. Iodine-125 seed implantation combined with chemotherapy in patients with primary liver cancer can reduce the level of serum tumor markers, improve the level of peripheral blood Th1/Th2 cells, and reduce the recurrence rate of patients without increasing the incidence of side effects, which is worthy of promoting the application of iodine-125 seed implantation.

Objective: To explore the therapeutic effects of ultrasound-guided microwave ablation and radio frequency ablation for liver cancer patients. Methods: Seventy-eight patients with microwave ablation were rolled into the experimental group and 56 patients with radio frequency ablation were in the control group. This study was conducted from March 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 in our hospital. Based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Migration feature (MF), a new ultrasound image diagnosis algorithm CNNMF was constructed, which was compared with AdaBoost and PCA-BP based on Principal component analysis (PCA) and back propagation (BP), and the accuracy (Acc), specificity (Spe), sensitivity (Sen), and F1 values of the three algorithms were calculated. Then, the CNNMF algorithm was applied to the ultrasonic image diagnosis of the two patients, and the postoperative ablation points, complications and ablation time were recorded. Results: The Acc (96.31%), Spe (89.07%), Sen (91.26%), and F1 value (0.79%) of the CNNMF algorithm were obviously larger than the AdaBoost and the PCA-BP algorithms (P<0.05); in contrast with the control group. The number of ablation points in the experimental group was obviously larger, and the ablation time was obviously shorter (P<0.05); the experimental group had one case of liver abscess and two cases of wound pain after surgery, which were both obviously less than the control group (four cases; five cases) (P<0.05) Conclusion: In contrast with traditional algorithms, the CNNMF algorithm has better diagnostic performance for liver cancer ultrasound images. In contrast with radio frequency ablation, microwave ablation has better ablation effects for liver cancer tumors, and can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications in patients, which is safe and feasible. doi: https://doi.org/10.12669/pjms.37.6-WIT.4885 How to cite this:Riaz A, Sughra U, Jawaid SA, Masood J.
