Providing high-quality care to patients undergoing hemodialysis (HD) is a priority for nurses. The present study was conducted to explore the experiences of the quality of nursing care among patients, nurses, and caregivers in Yanghu Branch of Changzhou Second People’s Hospital, China. A total of 120 hemodialysis patients consecutively admitted to Yanghu Branch of Changzhou Second People’s Hospital were enrolled and divided into two groups according to the nursing method they received: control group (routine nursing) and experimental group (responsibility nursing). The two cohorts were observed and compared for alterations of adverse emotions and inflammatory factors, the incidence of complications, pre-and post-nursing sleep quality, life quality, and patients’ satisfaction with nursing. After nursing, the Self-Rating Anxiety/Depression Scale (SAS/DS) scores were lower in the experimental group (EG) than in the control group (CG) (both P < 0.05 ). Serum IL-6, hs-CRP, and TNF-α were decreased in both groups after nursing and were even lower in EG (both P < 0.05 ). EG had significantly improved sleep quality and life quality than CG, with a higher nursing satisfaction (all P < 0.05 ). This validates that the responsibility nursing for dialysis patients can validly mitigate patients’ negative emotions, improve their quality of life, and ensure high-quality dialysis effect, which is feasible for wide popularization and application in clinics.

To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on postpartum psychological and neurological rehabilitation of pregnant patients with encephalopathy. 102 patients who were diagnosed as preeclampsia or eclampsia and confirmed as reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome (RPLS) by brain MRI from January 2015 to September 2019 in our hospital were collected. In research group (RG), patients (n=57) were treated with comprehensive nursing intervention mode, while patients (n=45) were treated with traditional nursing intervention mode in control group (CG). In the two groups, the psychological and neurological rehabilitation were observed before and after intervention. By examining the biochemical indexes in the two groups before and after the treatment, it was found that the biochemical indexes were significantly reduced after the intervention, but there was no significant difference in the indexes of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and uric acid (UA) between the two groups before and after the treatment. In the two groups, the psychological mood was compared by the rating scale. After the intervention, the anxiety and depression were relieved in the two groups, and the scores of the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) of RG were lower than those of CG (P<0.05). After treatment and nursing, the neurological damage of RPLS in both groups was improved, but the residual rate of headache in RG was lower than that in CG (P<0.05). The incidence of maternal and infant adverse outcomes in RG was lower than that in CG (P<0.05). According to statistics, the patients’ nursing compliance and nursing satisfaction in RG were higher than those in CG (P<0.05). Comprehensive nursing intervention can significantly improve the adverse emotions of pregnant patients with encephalopathy and promote the rehabilitation of neurological function, so it has a high degree of nursing satisfaction.

With the increase of the incidence rate of digestive system diseases, digestive endoscopy has become an essential measure. The nursing quality of digestive endoscopy room will have a direct impact on the examination results and treatment effect, so improving the nursing quality of digestive endoscopy room has always been the focus of attention. In this paper, the smart electronic medical blockchain technology and hospital standardized nursing management mode are combined to develop the smart medical standardized nursing management mode. Firstly, 88 patients with digestive endoscopy in a hospital from October 2018 to October 2019 were selected as the experimental subjects: 44 cases in the control group and 44 cases in the experimental group. The control group implemented the traditional management mode of digestive endoscopy room, and the experimental group implemented the standardized nursing management mode of smart medicine. The blood pressure level before and after nursing and the probability of adverse reactions in the process of nursing were counted. After nursing, the patients were asked to fill in the nursing satisfaction questionnaire, evaluate the nursing quality of nursing staff, and make statistics and comparison on the occurrence of safety events in digestive endoscopy room. After nursing, the systolic pressure drop of the experimental group was 125.36 ± 7.27 mmhg, diastolic pressure drop was 73.24 ± 4.21 mmhg, and the incidence of adverse reactions was 11.36%. The satisfaction rate of the experimental group was 15%, 29.55%, and 22.73% higher than that of the control group. The average scores of nursing skills, operation level, and examination results of nursing staff in the experimental group were 94.49, 95.12, and 95.89, respectively; the qualified rate of disinfection of digestive endoscopy room in the experimental group was 100%, the degree of cooperation between doctors and nurses was 100%, the timely rate of emergency measures was 95.45%, and the incidence of accidents was 0%. This shows that, under the standardized nursing of smart medicine, the blood pressure of patients is more stable, the incidence of adverse reactions is lower, the nursing satisfaction is higher, and the nursing quality of nursing staff and the safety of digestive endoscopy room are also improved.

Objective. To explore the nursing effect of the narrative nursing model on tumor patients with PICC under chemotherapy and the impact on patients’ anxiety. Methods. 200 tumor patients with PICC under chemotherapy treated in our hospital from March 2019 to March 2021 were randomly selected and divided into the control group (routine nursing) and the experimental group (narrative nursing) by the draw method, with 100 cases each. All patients were investigated with the General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) scale, and their anxiety scores were over 5 points. The GAD-7 anxiety scores, satisfaction scores, Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) scores, Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores, quality of life (QLI) scores, and Mental Status Scale in Non-Psychiatric Settings (MSSNS) scores before intubation (T0), 1 d after intubation (T1), 3 d after intubation (T2), and after extubation (T3) of patients in both groups were compared. The adverse reaction rate (ARR) during placement was assessed in both groups, and the effectiveness of patient care was evaluated after extubation. Results. Compared with the control group, the experimental group obtained significantly higher satisfaction scores and QLI scores at T0, T1, T2, and T3 and lower GAD-7 anxiety scores, SAS scores, SDS scores, and MSSNS scores at T0, T1, T2, and T3, which were statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ). The experimental group had a significantly higher efficiency of care than the control group and a significantly lower ARR during treatment ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. The narrative nursing model can remarkably improve the nursing effect, alleviate the anxiety, and provide a more quality nursing for tumor patients with PICC under chemotherapy.

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is generally considered a stressful and painful procedure; we aimed to evaluate whether a single education and counseling intervention could reduce women’s distress and pain after undergoing HSG for infertility. Patients were randomized into control group (n=108) and intervention group (n=109). All patients filled the following questionnaires before and after HSG: Zung self-rating anxiety scale (Z-SAS), Zung self-rating depression scale (Z-SDS), and an ad hoc questionnaire designed to evaluate HSG procedure knowledge. Pain was scored using a visual analog scale. The intervention consisted in a 45-minute individualised session 48 h before HSG. We observed a reduction of anxiety and depression scores in the intervention arm compared to the control group. After controlling for potential confounding variables, intervention was an independent predictor of the difference of Z-SAS score before and after HSG. This is the first randomised controlled trial to assess the potential effectiveness of a single education and counseling intervention to lower anxiety in a diagnostic setting.

Caring for the persons with first episode psychosis is challenging and demanding. It may lead to the increased burden, expressed emotions among the caregivers. The numerous studies have shown that high burden and negative expressed emotions among caregivers can lead to early relapse in the patients with first episode psychosis. To evaluate the effects of the brief psychoeducation on the caregivers burden and expressed emotions. A quasi experimental - before and after with control group research design was adopted for the study. A total of 60 caregivers have participated in the study, of which 30 caregivers in experimental group and 30 caregivers in the control group. Family Burden Interview Schedule (Pai and Kapoor, 1981) and Attitude Questionnaire (Sethi et al., 1981) was used to assess caregiver's burden and expressed emotions. At end of the psychoeducation intervention, burden among caregivers and negative expressed emotions of the caregivers have significantly reduced. The positive expressed emotions have been increased. Study results demonstrates the importance of psychoeducation intervention in reducing the burden and negative expressed emotions.
