The environmental evaluation of the coalface in underground mining is of great significance to the safety of production and the health of miners. In order to achieve the objective and accurate evaluation of the operating environment of the coalface, the indexes of temperature, humidity, noise, illuminance, dust, harmful gas, and wind speed are selected to construct the environment evaluation index system, and the operating environment evaluation model of the coalface based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and matter-element theory (MET) is established. Firstly, the operation environment classification criterion is established; the environment objects, joint domain, and classical domain mater-element are built; and the correlation function is calculated. Secondly, the comprehensive correlation matrix is calculated and the environmental grade is judged. Finally, from the broad point of view, three measures are proposed to improve the operation environment of the coalface: development of the environmental evaluation index monitoring system, improvement on miners’ safety awareness, and formulation of regulations and policies for coal mine operation environment. The research results can provide guidelines for miners, coal mining enterprises, and occupational environmental safety departments.

Prefabricated building is an efficient building mode. Compared with the traditional building mode, the prefabricated building has advantages of less pollution, high construction efficiency, being more labor-saving, and economy, which is in line with China’s sustainable development strategy. This paper proposes a supplier selection evaluation model based on the mechanism equation model (SEM) and intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (IFAHP). Based on a detailed literature review, 300 structured questionnaires were distributed to the relevant enterprises, and an evaluation index system of prefabricated building element suppliers was built. With the fitting and modification process using a structural equation model, and assist of a path factor, an evaluation index system for evaluating the prefabricated building element suppliers was finally obtained. Finally, the intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process was used to establish a selection model of prefabricated element suppliers, and the prefabricated element suppliers of Shuangyashan prefabricated construction projects were analyzed as a case study. The results show that the following factors have the most significant impact on supplier selection (from high to low): quality, economy, long-term cooperation, after-sales, and transportation. This study had a comprehensive consideration of the influencing factors existing in the whole selection process and should provide a valuable reference for the sustainable development of prefabricated construction engineering.

The double development of urbanization and motorization has made the traffic demand of our country grow rapidly and diversified. the improvement of urban traffic has become an important condition for the sustainable development of the city. Based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), this paper establishes the evaluation index system of urban traffic improvement by comparing the importance of indexing by experts. It is found that improvement of road network, optimization of public traffic and improvement of intersection are the most important in urban traffic improvement. the intersection of the most important level of service. By using qualitative and quantitative methods, the Likert scale was used to classify the results and the four-quadrant method was used to analyze the urban traffic improvement evaluation index system.

In order to appraise the safety and reliability of bridges effectively, the comprehensive evaluation model based on analytic hierarchy process was established. The weight of evaluation index was calculated by using the model, and each evaluation index was given score by experts according to actual circumstances, and, on this basis, safety level of the bridge was obtained. And, afterwards, the model was applied to an engineering example for Huangjiaba Bridge. The results show that the evaluation level of bridge safety is third-level, with serious problems existing in this practical example, and the corresponding measures are proposed, which can provide scientific reference for bridge safety management.

As the tunnel project has the characteristics of concealment, complexity, uncertainty and the larger investment risk, whose insidious danger is outstanding especially in the construction process. It is important for the safety of the construction process to determine the potential risk and minimize the risk using reasonable methods. Based on the experts investigation, 3-hierarchy and eighteen factors’ evaluation index system of risk assessment is established through the improved analytic hierarchy process. The results show that this method is reasonable and can greatly reduce graded difficulties.

As China is a mountainous country, a large quantity of the population has to live in mountainous areas due to limited living space. Most of them cluster along roads in areas with relatively poor traffic conditions. In view of the spatial-temporal change of complex geological and ecological environment along the roads in the mountains, this paper takes the Dujiangyan- Wenchuan (Du-Wen) Road as the research object, and puts forward a method to evaluate the bearing capacity of regional geological and ecological environment based on the evaluation of quality and spatial coupling of bearing capacity. For the needs of the current research, a total number of 20 indicators from three aspects of geological, ecological, and social attributes were selected to carry out the assessment. Based on the GIS platform and evaluation index system, the weight of each evaluation index factor is determined by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The comprehensive quality of bearing capacity is calculated by the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) algorithm through weighted superposition, which comes to result in the evaluation of geological, ecological, and social environment. Afterward, the bearing capacity of the study area is classified, combining the results of hot spot analysis. The study shows that the spatial distribution of geological, ecological, and socio-economic bearing capacity in this area is highly aggregated, with 31.12% of the area to be classified as suitable construction area, 31.98% as backup reserve area, and 36.79% as unsuitable construction area. The studied triangle area, composed of Yingxiu Town, Xuankou Town, and Dujiangyan City, presents a large area of a high-valued aggregation area, with comprehensive high quality bearing capacity and spatial aggregation, which is better for planning and construction.
