The Republic of Korea Reserve Forces (ROKRF), established in 1968, continue to function through continuous changes such as improving laws and systems and optimizing organizations while complying with social and policy changes. However, the reduction of standing forces, changes in the operating environment, and the reduction of reserve forces required to carry out operations require the re-establishment of the concept of operation of regional reserve forces. In this study, we aimed to diagnose the phenomenon of regional reserve groups and derive an optimized operation plan for regional reserve groups in consideration of changes in the future security environment, operation support system, and law and order system. The operating system presented the mission of establishing local reserve forces suitable for the operating environment, organization, and organization maintenance for the future as well as maintenance and development of combat power through education and training. Finally, in the law and order system section, a plan to revise laws was proposed in consideration of the task of operating and constructing regional reserve forces and re-establishing them.

The outdoor terminal box of converter station’s complex working characteristics and working environment easily leads to the failure of relays in it. The paper analyzes the key factors in relay selection from the perspectives of the characteristics of the operating environment. By comparing the characteristics of different component materials and structure designs, the paper proposes suggestions of type selection of relays in outdoor terminal boxes of converter stations.

In Air Traffic Management (ATM), Safety Management Systems (SMS) provide the principal vehicle for implementing safety policies, practices and procedures in accordance with internationally agreed Standards. In a constantly changing operating environment, it is essential to maintain SMS effectiveness to maintain and enhance levels of ATM safety. Research at the University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB) has analysed the major, fast-rising threats to ATM safety emerging in the field of unmanned aviation. After considering the operating environment in terms of control arrangements and unmanned vehicle types, the relationship between ATM and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) is examined. It is concluded that the SMS supporting ATM requires enhancement to address the risks arising from the emergence of unmanned aviation and relevant enhancement measures are therefore proposed. Further, research shows that detailed safety management arrangements to support UTM are not yet defined. Indicative SMS requirements for UTM are therefore derived and presented.

Fast atoms sputtered on a hot metal surface were suggested for thermalization at a metal ion-sputtering source and for further desorption into a discharge with temperature, which is equal to the temperature of the surface. In the suggested construction of the source, atom thermalization process is realized on an interior surface of an anode of the Penning discharge cell in an oscillation area of ionizing electrons. It has been experimentally shown that the proposed method of thermalization of Fe atoms increases the fraction of Fe+ ions in the extracted ion beam by three times.

The contemporary market creates a demand for continuous improvement of production, service, and management processes. Increasingly advanced IT technologies help designers to meet this demand, as they allow them to abandon classic design and design-testing methods in favor of techniques that do not require the use of real-life systems and thus significantly reduce the costs and time of implementing new solutions. This is particularly important when re-engineering production and logistics processes in existing production companies, where physical testing is often infeasible as it would require suspension of production for the testing period. In this article, we showed how the Digital Twin technology can be used to test the operating environment of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR). In particular, the concept of the Digital Twin was used to assess the correctness of the design assumptions adopted for the early phase of the implementation of an AMR vehicle in a company’s production hall. This was done by testing and improving the case of a selected intralogistics task in a potentially “problematic” part of the shop floor with narrow communication routes. Three test scenarios were analyzed. The results confirmed that the use of digital twins could accelerate the implementation of automated intralogistics systems and reduce its costs.

Significance This is only the most recent example of a long litany of occurrences where the interests and concerns of girls and women have taken second seat to the interests of corporate profits. In China, the regulatory and political manifestation of online gender issues is different. Impacts Hyper-nationalist rhetoric from the government will likely fuel misogynist messaging online. As China’s online regulations tighten, the operating environment for Western firms will become more complex. The government will protect senior officials accused of crimes against women.

Bearing is a movable object, so frictional forces must be overcome in terms of moving the Bearing. To decrease the friction force on the movable methodology, different kinds of bearings have been used. The bearing gets its characterized by the fact that it is used to support a rotating axle or shaft. Because rolling bearings utilize balls or rollers, they are referred to as "rolling components." one can measure bearing expected lifespan depending on the material exhaustion if one can understand the operations and maintenance of loads and speeds. These computations should be based on the assumption that now the bearing is appropriately installed, lubricated, and moreover treated. It is unable to account for the impact of detrimental operating environment. Damaged bearing has a significant economic and industrial implications. Numerous substance are used in the bearing sector to several bearing elements. To achieve maximum bearing performance and durability, the products are deposited to obtain intended characteristics. The components listed in this are the most frequently used. The different materials used in ball bearings are discussed in this paper.

A Segway RMP200 has been bought by Victoria University for the purpose of making an autonomous robot. The focus of this project was to create reusable services that use existing navigation algorithms to control the Segway within an indoor environment. A SICK LMS100 laser rangefinder was added to detect obstacles and allow localization of the Segway within a known map. A hybrid navigation algorithm consisting of an A* path planner with a dynamic window is used for motion planning and obstacle avoidance. The control system followed a Service Oriented Architecture implemented in Microsoft Robotics Studio using the C# .NET programming language. Four services were created during the project to interface with the SICK LMS100 scanner, control the Segway RMP200, implement the hybrid navigation algorithm and provide a graphic user interface for the system. Tests show that the Segway is able to navigate and maintain localisation within the operating environment by identifying and associating corner and door landmarks within the environment.
