Blockchain technology has always been plagued by performance problems. Given this problem, many scaling schemes have been put forward. A layer 2 network is a technology that solves the performance problem of blockchain. Connected parties in this network can set up channels to send digital currency to each other. Since the interaction with the blockchain is only required when the channel is established and closed, a large number of transactions do not need to be recorded on the blockchain, thus reducing the blockchain capacity. Due to the special structure of the payment channel, the distribution of funds in the channel is often unbalanced, which limits the route payment to a certain extent. This paper improves the original payment method in the second layer network by introducing new scripts. The new payment scheme supports proof of payment which is integral to the nature of the lightning network and divides the payment into several subpayments, so the large payment can be divided into relatively small payments. Due to the capacity limitation of the payment channel, theoretically, the success rate of the micropayment route is higher. This paper tests the new payment scheme on the simulated network and validates the nature of this solution to have a high routing success rate while supporting proof of payment.

Blockchain first introduced and implemented in digital currency management and transactions. Its application to medical records data management is a novelty. This paper described the implementation of blockchain technology in the healthcare industry, especially in medical records data management A literature review was conducted on three popular databases, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and IEEE Xplore with the keywords "health", "medical record" and "blockchain" with "research article" and "conference proceeding" filters. There are a few articles that meet the criteria to review indicated that the implementation of blockchain technology in medical records data management is a novelty and still in the early phase. Blockchain is a potential technology in supporting the implementation of electronic medical records, especially related to data integration and privacy. Several scientific publications related to the implementation of blockchain for medical records data management shown that the implementation of this technology will make the patient have full control over their health data. Yet there are still many challenges in the implementation both from the user side and the technology infrastructure.

Blockchain technology represented by Bitcoin and Ethereum has been deeply developed and widely used due to its broad application prospects such as digital currency and IoT. However, the security of the existing blockchain technologies built on the classical cryptography depends on the computational complexity problem. With the enhancement of the attackers’ computing power, especially the upcoming quantum computers, this kind of security is seriously threatened. Based on quantum hash, quantum SWAP test and quantum teleportation, a quantum blockchain system is proposed with quantum secure communication. In classical cryptographic theory sense, the security of this system is unconditional since it has nothing to do with the attackers’ computing power and computing resources.

Routing protocol bears the responsibility of maintaining standards which provide means for routers to establish and sustain proper communication among themselves as well as direct the packets towards the best traveling route present between an end node and a basis. Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) are the highly valuable protocols in the computer networking field. Keep in view the implementation of routing protocols (RP); architectural differences lie between both of these protocols. Still, both of them do not have the same delays in processing regarding finding the best route, adaptability, and ability to achieve convergence. The author carried out studies via simulations in OPNET for estimating the performance of OSPF and EIGRP protocols and have drawn comparisons later on. Studies estimated the performance of OSPF and EIGRP by taking into consideration two network models. The 1ST model configured with OSPF, and the 2ND model is set-up with EIGRP. By sending and receiving traffic via the simulated network paradigm, the author estimated RPs based on quantitative metrics, including End-to-End delay, Packet dropped, Throughput, Processing delay, and CPU utilization. After gathering and studying the results, the author observed that EIGRP and OSPF both have different results. EIGRP has given better performance concerning some parameters, but on the other side, OSPF has shown better performance concerning some other parameters

In this article are discussed the most perspective cryptocurrency and blockchain projects that China is investing in. After the regulations regarding cryptocurrencies that is put forth by China, the Chinese government decided to create several financial bodies to regulate and develop the cryptocurrency. Despite the strict regulation of cryptocurrencies, China has been significantly investing in blockchain projects. China has developed the Digital Currency Research Institute (DCRI) of the People’s Bank of China — a research body under the aegis of PBOC that focuses on the research and development of digital currencies and blockchain-related technologies. China actively supports more than 40 platforms, mostly in such fields as AI, Deep Learning and Software. The Chinese government has shown a positive attitude towards blockchain technology. Blockchain and cryptocurrency come hand-in-hand (except a private chain where a token is unnecessary). In the nearest future, China plans to introduce a blockchain to the most different spheres. For this purpose, there will even double the volume of investment to 3 billion dollars, since the second quarter of 2018. “This technology can transform many spheres of our life. As soon as in the country pursue powerful technological policy, it is sure that even more companies will begin to work in the field of the blockchain” —the partner of the international consulting company PwC in Shanghai Chongg Chong Yin commented to journalists.

Satoshi Nakamoto is the name used by the presumed pseudonymous person or persons believed to be the inventor of cryptocurrency Bitcoin, came up with the concept of blockchain as a core component of it when published a white paper on “BitCoin: A peer to peer electronic cash system” in 2008, blockchain technology made its public debut. Bitcoin is generally considered the first decentralized cryptocurrency and since the release of it, over 6,000 altcoins have been created. Cryptocurrencies use decentralized control as opposed to well-known, traditional centralized digital currency and also central banking systems. The decentralized control of each cryptocurrency works through distributed ledger technology, typically a blockchain. Blockchain is a system that in which a record of transactions made in cryptocurrencies are maintained across several computers/servers that are linked in a peer-to-peer network. Blockchain based applications provides many opportunities to create a more sustainable world. This paper contribute to the discussion on future avenues for sustainability especially in terms of cryptocurrencies and blockchain based platforms and services.
