Intelligent supervision effectively deals with food safety problems from four aspects: concept, subject, activity and object. This paper makes a qualitative analysis on the current situation of intelligent supervision of food safety in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, compares and studies the intelligent supervision modes of food safety in three coastal areas in eastern China, constructs the analysis framework of intelligent supervision of food safety, and improves the intelligent supervision mode of food safety in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. By studying the policy path of intelligent supervision of food safety, extract the three-stage three source stream model of supervision mode from standard cultivation, informatization to standard unification and intelligence, to better promote the intelligent supervision mode in the country. For the challenges still faced by food safety supervision, it is proposed to improve the top-level design and strengthen the intelligent supervision mechanism of cross regional coordination; Promote the cooperation and sharing of data resources and optimize the cross regional risk early warning mechanism; Consolidate the rural digital foundation and realize the integration mechanism of urban and rural food safety supervision.

Abstract Teaching practice is a precious period for final learner support. In Malawi, any faculty member could supervise teaching practice regardless of their subject specialty (scrambled model). This qualitative study assessed the impacts of this scrambled model of supervision on the quality of learner support when non-specialist faculty supervised student-teachers. Through 2 different focus group discussions, data were collected from 10 conveniently sampled practicum students, 6 practicum supervisors, and 6 coordinators from 6 purposefully selected higher teacher-education institutions. and data were analyzed qualitatively. The study revealed that student-teachers and faculty were uncomfortable with the scrambled supervision model because it led to (1) inconsistencies in pedagogical and content knowledge, (2) unfriendly environment, and (3) inadequate feedback due to varying needs in varying subject areas demands. However, they justified this model for convenience at the mercy of other constraints. Apart from contributing to the existing body of knowledge, this study suggests best practices to guide institutional policy regarding practicum to facilitate quality learner support.

Soil remediation technology has achieved good results at present, but evaluation research on the soil remediation effect is relatively lacking. In the field of soil remediation effect evaluation, there are problems such as unscientific and imperfect indices and the inability to guarantee the authenticity of data. Based on the research results of domestic and foreign scholars and the soil remediation standards of some developed countries, a set of recommended indices for soil remediation evaluation has been formed through the analysis and screening of a large number of documents and the results of expert consultation. However, there are phenomena such as lack of data authenticity, information asymmetry, and low supervision efficiency. Based on the technical characteristics of the blockchain and the current soil remediation effect evaluation requirements, combined with the research results of domestic and foreign scholars and the soil remediation standards of some developed countries, the core technology and corresponding application scenarios were analysed for functional requirements in this paper. The introduction of blockchain technology will improve the authenticity of data and form a decentralized, trustworthy, and traceable supervision model. Finally, an evaluation index system of the soil remediation effect based on blockchain was constructed from the following five aspects: collection of soil remediation indices, the addition of a new blockchain-based soil remediation effect evaluation and supervision model, the determination of index weights, a list of soil remediation effect evaluation indices, and providing feedback and suggestions. Through the application of blockchain technology and the innovative addition of the “regional policy” evaluation index, changes and innovations were made in all aspects of the soil remediation effect evaluation process.

This study set out to determine the possible impacts of implementing the Clinical Supervision Model (CSM) on supervisors’ philosophy of teaching, in both theory and practice. In order to gather the required data, two highly experienced supervisors were recruited according to the degree of homogeneity of the educational context in which they were working. By applying qualitative case study design, the required data were collected by conducting two distinct phases of classroom observations, accompanied by semistructured interviews. Considering the nature of the investigation, it was decided to employ the Transcendental Phenomenology (TPh) approach to analyze the data in order to determine the supervisors’ accurate perceptions and lived experiences regarding the nature of taking on a supervisory role and the effects of implementing CSM on their teaching career. The empirical findings in this investigation provided a new understanding of the probable effects of implementing CSM on supervisors’ general attitudes towards both teaching and supervisory careers. The results of the study indicated that CSM can be potentially effective in encouraging critical thinking, providing more constructive feedback in postobservation meetings, and improving the teaching quality of both teachers and supervisors.

This article reflects on the experiences of Estonian social work undergraduate students with a five-phased structured peer group supervision model, consisting of information, clarification, analysis, feedback and reflection phases. This kind of systematic case reflection enables the generation and critical exploration of new perspectives and solutions among those seeking to become professional social workers. Students emphasised that this model is a useful method for case supervision and that it is feasible to apply it after one-time or short training/experience.

With decades of stupendous growth and political détente between India and China, Mandarin has become an important human capital for Indians. India clearly shows a preference of Taiwan over China, when mediated between them for different Mandarin resources, even before the epidemic and Sino-India border conflicts. Recently, there have been suggestions to replace Confucius Institutes with Taiwanese institutions, and Taiwan has urged for strengthening cooperation with India in Mandarin education. This paper aims to discuss the feasibility for Taiwan Education Centre to monopolize the Mandarin education market of India. Through data collection and detailed analysis of literature by scholars of Taiwan, China and India, this paper argues that Taiwan alone is incapable of occupying the whole Indian market due to the inadequacy of Mandarin teaching resources and complex tripartite political relations. Moreover, the current trilateral strategies adopted by China, India and Taiwan dissuade the common interests. We propose a customization, cooperation and supervision model to advance Mandarin education in India, and further analyze the feasibility and potential resistance towards the cooperation. This paper is helpful to understanding the Chinese teaching situation in India. It addresses a timely question and offers possible resolution not only to India but also to other countries who are skeptical of Confucius Institutes.
