This study develops a model to advance research on public organization reputation by integrating crisis responsibility with charismatic leadership communication. Based on situational crisis communication theory, the model was tested using structural equation modeling with data obtained from a sample of 383 employees of public organizations in Malaysia. The mediation model indicated that the dynamic mechanism of charismatic leadership communication partially mediated the relationship between crisis responsibility and perceived organizational reputation during a crisis. These findings validated the proposed model and, in particular, confirmed empirically the central role of charismatic leadership communication processes in organization. This study provides insights into the role of charismatic leadership communication in the organizational reputation processes. The model established can serve as an instructive guide for both organization and corporate leaders in managing a crisis and reputation. A practical implication of the findings is that, during a crisis, a crisis leader should engage in charismatic leadership communication effectively to mitigate the crisis impact and strengthen organizational reputation. More important, the findings indicate that charismatic leadership communication contributed to organizational reputation explicitly brought charismatic leadership communication to the forefront of organizational reputation management.

Along with emerging the war for talent, scholars have given ample attention to employer branding concept referring the a whole of values and benefits that organizations provide for both attracting and retaining the best possible talent. In this context, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of employer branding on the favorable employee behavior as job embeddedness via the mediating role of the dedication and perceived organizational support.  Data collected from 200 respondents have been analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling. As a result of analyses, the hypothesized model was supported. Findings of the study revealed that employer branding has effect the dedication, job embeddedness and organizational support perception of employees. Additionally, dedication and perceived organizational support partially mediate the relationship between employer branding and job embeddedness. Finally, the theoretical and practical implication, limitations of the study and suggestions for future research are discussed.

This study was aimed at identifying the role of social networking information (SNI) on pre-employment background checks (PBCs) of job applicants involving a single mediating variable, sustainable organizational reputation (SOR). In addition to that, we conducted a multi-group analysis to examine whether the direct and mediating effects were stronger in terms of gender difference. For investigation, a structured questionnaire was utilized to collect data from 1138 respondents working as hiring professionals in Bangladesh applying purposive sampling. Finally, 798 valid samples were considered. Structural equation modeling was applied using AMOS 24 to test the hypothesized relationships. The results indicated that SNI is positively and significantly related to PBCs. Additionally, it was revealed that SOR can partially mediate the direct relationship between SNI and PBCs. Furthermore, the study did not reveal any noteworthy gender differences influencing these relationships. The paper is expected to assist academicians involved in investigating pre-selection background checks and hiring professionals looking for further academic references to formulate a proper social media background policy.

Purpose – Corporate reputation (CR) is an important intangible asset of a company. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of CR on co-operants behavior and on organizational performance in co-operative organizations. Design/methodology/approach – This investigation proposes an investigation model and tests the framework using structural equation modeling. For this purpose, 263 valid questionnaires were collected from a research sample comprised of co-operants of the biggest dairy union of co-operatives in Iberia. Findings – CR has a significant impact on co-operatives members’ loyalty and on co-operatives’ performance. The model provides a wider comprehension of the CR concept and introduces both the drivers and consequences. Research limitation – This investigation is based on a sample of members of one union of co-operatives in the specific dairy milk industry. Practical implication – The results give new guidelines to redress the co-operatives traditional management, namely the management of intangible assets like reputation. Internal culture, satisfaction with management, image and communication can boost reputation and thus organizational performance and members’ loyalty. Social implication – This paper aims to contribute to the competitiveness of a type of organization closed to the social structure of the rural population. Originality value – The results bring the management challenges of the twenty-first century to the traditional principles underlying co-operatives management helping them to reinforce competitiveness.

Many research studies and observations have made it evident that there exists a difference between the shopping behavior of the male and female. The objective of this research paper is to explore the moderation effect of gender on the influence of pathos & logos in online shopping. Pathos can be explained as the emotional quotient in the purchasing behavior whereas Logos can be understood as the logic behind purchasing a particular product. Structural Equation Modeling is used for the final analysis and interpretation of the formulated hypothesis. The three approaches used are Chi-square Difference, Pairwise Parameter Comparisons & Nested Model Comparisons to know the moderating role of gender on the relationship between pathos & logos in online shopping. The findings of this research conclude that females are more governed by emotions, which is a complex buying behavior. The practical implication of this research paper is beneficial not only for the customers who frequently purchase the goods online but also for the e-commerce companies who are in the online trading business.

The COVID-19 vaccine has become a strategic vehicle for reducing the spread of the pandemic. However, the uptake of the vaccine by the public is more complicated than simply making it available. Based on social learning theory, this study examines the role of communication sources and institutional trust as barriers and incentives as motivators of people’s attitudes toward vaccination and actual vaccination. Data were collected via an online panel survey among Israelis aged 18–55 and then analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). Findings show that social media trust negatively mediates the effect of exposure to information on the vaccine on attitudes toward vaccination. However, mass media trust and institutional trust positively mediate this relationship. Incentives were effective motivators for forming positive attitudes and moderating the effect of institutional trust on attitude toward vaccination. This study facilitates a deeper understanding of health communication theory in pandemics and makes important recommendations for practitioners and policy makers.

This study aims to investigate the impact of parental career behaviors on undergraduate student’s career exploration and the mediating role of career self-efficacy. In the literature it is suggested that some social and individual factors facilitate students’ career exploration. Therefore, parental career behaviors and career self-efficacy is considered as predictors of student’s career exploration attitudes within the scope of the study. In this respect, data which are collected from 405 undergraduate students having an education on tourism and hotel management field by the survey method are analyzed by using the structural equation modeling. The results of the study indicate that parental career behaviors which are addressed support; interference and lack of engagement have a significant effect on student’s career exploration behaviors such as intended-systematic exploration, environment exploration and self-exploration. In addition, it has been found that one of the dimensions of parental career behaviors addressed as a lack of engagement has a significant effect on career self-efficacy levels of students. However, research results indicate that student’s career self-efficacy has a significant effect on only the self-exploration dimension. On the other hand, career self-efficacy has a partial mediating role between lack of engagement attitudes of parents and career exploration behaviors of students.

Continuous development of technological innovations especially in the banking sector have stirred competition which has changed the way businesses operate resulting in the introduction of Unified Interface Payment (UPI) services. This study was conducted in order to analyse the adoption of UPI services through Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in Mysuru. Objectives of study were framed to determine the demographic factors that influence the practices of UPI by the customers, to examine the role of banks in integrating UPI services and products and to assess the various security issues affecting the usage of UPI services by Mysuru customers. Based on these objectives a structured questionnaire was prepared and primary data was collected from 165 respondents. Data was analysed making use of SPSS and other models namely Structural Equation Modeling with Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) Software. Finally the researchers identifies that there is a need for convergence of customer’s preference for safe and easy banking transactions. This study revealed that the customer’s model have to be well integrated for progress in UPI operations.

Work-Life balance has its importance from ancient days and the concept is very old, from the day the world has been created. There was a drastic change that has occurred in the market of teachers and their personal profiles. There are tremendous changes in various families which have bartered from the ‘breadwinner’ role of traditional men to single parent families and dual earning couples. This study furnishes an insight into work life balance and job satisfaction of teachers working in School of Villupuram District. The sample comprises of 75 school teachers from Government and private schools in Villupuram District. The Study results that there is increasing mediating evidence in Work-life balance as well as Job satisfaction of teachers are not affected by the type of school in which they are working. Job satisfaction or Pleasure of life will be affected as a whole by Work life balance of an individual which is the main which can be calculated by construct of subjective well being.

Trait impulsivity has long been proposed to play a role in aggression, but the results across studies have been mixed. One possible explanation for the mixed results is that impulsivity is a multifaceted construct and some, but not all, facets are related to aggression. The goal of the current meta-analysis was to determine the relation between the different facets of impulsivity (i.e., negative urgency, positive urgency, lack of premeditation, lack of perseverance, and sensation seeking) and aggression. The results from 93 papers with 105 unique samples (N = 36, 215) showed significant and small-to-medium correlations between each facet of impulsivity and aggression across several different forms of aggression, with more impulsivity being associated with more aggression. Moreover, negative urgency (r = .24, 95% [.18, .29]), positive urgency (r = .34, 95% [.19, .44]), and lack of premeditation (r = .23, 95% [.20, .26]) had significantly stronger associations with aggression than the other scales (rs < .18). Two-stage meta-analytic structural equation modeling showed that these effects were not due to overlap among facets of impulsivity. These results help advance the field of aggression research by clarifying the role of impulsivity and may be of interest to researchers and practitioners in several disciplines.
