Introduction. The SARS-CoV2 pandemic makes a challenge for patients with bipolar disorder receiving prophylactically lithium. There have been findings pointing to the antiviral effect of lithium which arouse suppositions that using the drug may prevent or attenuate the illness. Case report. A 58-year old male patient, inhabitant of Lombardy, with bipolar disorder for more than 20 years, who have been receiving prophylactically lithium and valproate since 2010. In February 2020, became infected with COVID-19 disease, with a temperature of 40°C; chest pain, dyspnoea, and dry cough developed. SARS-CoV2 infection was confirmed by PCR test; chest imaging showed characteristic changes for the infection. He was treated with antibiotics, oxygen, fluids, and antipyretic drugs. Hyperpyrexia and respiratory problems persisted for 40 day; full recovery occurred after 7 weeks. Comments. This case shows that also in patients on long-term lithium therapy, COVID-19 may run a severe course.

Treatment and prognosis of intrusive luxation can vary depending on the age of the patient, type of dentition, stage of root development, and time and severity of the trauma. Some studies have demonstrated that intrusions of up to 3.0 mm have an excellent prognosis, whereas teeth with severe intrusion or teeth that are intruded more than 6.0 mm present an unfavorable prognosis because of the occurrence of inflammatory resorption and pulp necrosis. The aim of this case report is to present an 11-year-old male patient with complete intrusion of the permanent maxillary left lateral incisor, associated with the adjacent central tooth presenting external resorption, treated by immediate surgical repositioning and root canal treatment with a favorable prognosis. After long-term (3-year) clinical and radiographic follow-up, the teeth appeared normal and the patient was pleased with the outcome.

42 years old male patient referred from neurology department, working as a teacher, educated up to MSc, premorbidly anxious personality, family history mental illness (first degree relatives), comes from MSES with presenting complaints of difficulty in writing or copying since seven years. Disability progressed and he was unable to write even a few words legibly and could not hold object which leads to anxiety and dependency. When the patient was examined at Neurology OPD, find out that he has normal sensory and motor nerve functions. The present treatment involved the use of Bahaviour therapy. The findings in this case is very encouraging and studies with large sample sizes can be considered for further conclusive evidence on the treatment of writer’s cramp.

Duane retraction syndrome is the most frequently seen restrictive ocular motility disorders. It is clinically presented with limitation of horizontal movement, variable amounts of upshoots or downshoots and globe retraction combined with narrowing of the palpebral aperture on attempted adduction. An 8-year-old patient presented with severe restriction of abduction, reciprocal upshots or downshoots, and globe retraction combined with the palpebral fissure narrowing of on adduction. After the modified Y splitting of LR and recession of both horizontal rectus operation, all cosmetically disfiguring clinical features disappeared. In this case report modified Y splitting procedure and its long-term efficacy is presented.
