Leadership is a person�s ability to convince and motivate others to do something that are related to the common goals. The leadership involved the process of convincing in determining the goal of organization, motivating the attitude of the participator to reach the goal, convincing to improve their group and culture. Leadership is a formal position, that ask to get facilities and services from the constituents that should be served. Although among the leaders that when they are inaugurated said that the position is a trust, but in fact, there is very little or it can be said almost no leader that truly implementing the leadership from their heart, that is a serving leader. Even that needs to be a note here is how a leader must have a vision in building an independent soul, views, thoughts, attitudes and behaviors of all of the people at one the leader in order to be oriented to the progress and modern, so Indonesia become a big nation and be able to have competition with the other nations in the world. A truly leader always worked hard to improve himself before the leader busy to improve the others. The leader is not only a title or position that given from the outside but something that it grows and evolves from the inside of the person.

The Common Good Balance Sheet (CGB) is an instrument to measure a company’s contribution to the common good. In our study, we investigate whether employees from companies with higher CBG scores perceive more corporate social responsibility than employees from companies with lower CBG scores and whether relationships can be found between the achieved CGB scores and employees’ job-related attitudes and behaviors. We conducted an online survey of 332 employees from eight German companies with published CGBs. According to results from multiple linear regression analyses, employees from companies with higher CGB scores perceive more CSR and are more satisfied with their jobs and payments. In addition, they report less job demands, more organizational support, more work meaningfulness and more organizational citizenship behaviors towards their company. Employees identify more with their company if high transparency and co-determination is practiced. However, the value and social impact of the companies’ products is not related to employees’ organizational identification. Moreover, employees from companies with high CGB scores do not report more organizational citizenship behaviors towards their colleagues. Our results indicate that the CGB is a tool that measures aspects concerning job-related attitudes and behaviors and allows comparability between companies. However, aspects relevant to job satisfaction may still be missing in the CGB scoring.

Abstract Background: Physical activity (PA)-related knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors (KABs) are important content of health management. We conducted this study to (a) describe PA-related KABs of Chinese older adults, and (b) examine the association between PA-related KABs and mental health.Methods: This study used data from the 2015 China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS). 4048 residents aged 60 years and older were included as study subjects, assessing their PA-related knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and mental health. Comparison of PA-related KABs in urban and rural areas, as well as in different mental health groups were conducted using chi-square test. Ordinal logistic regression analysis was applied to assess the associations between PA-related KABs and mental health.Results: The proportion for knowing about the benefits of physical activity, knowing about appropriate exercise intensity, and knowing about healthy weight were 76.7%, 44.3%, and 75.4%, respectively. 89.2% of the participants hold positive attitude towards physical activity. 45.0%, 12.1%, and 12.9% of the participants reported preferring walking & Tai Chi, ball games, and body building, respectively. Participants in urban areas had significantly better PA-related KABs than those in rural areas (all p-values < 0.001). Adjusted ORs with 95% CI showed that participants who knew about the benefits of physical activity (OR = 1.19, 95% CI = 1.02-1.38); hold positive attitude towards physical activity (OR = 1.31, 95% CI = 1.08-1.59); and reported preferring walking & Tai Chi (OR = 1.40, 95% CI = 1.23-1.60), ball games (OR = 1.45, 95% CI = 1.17-1.79), body building (OR = 1.33, 95% CI = 1.09-1.63) had significant better mental health.Conclusions: Elderly residents in rural areas experienced significant poorer PA-related KABs than those in urban areas, especially for PA-related behaviors. Better PA-related knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors were associated with higher mental health in Chinese elderly residents.

Background: While the ultimate goal of adolescent suicide-prevention efforts is to decrease the incidence of death by suicide, a critical intermediary goal is directing youths toward effective sources of assistance. Aim: To comprehensively review the universal prevention literature and examine the effects of universal prevention programs on student’s attitudes and behaviors related to help-seeking. Method: We systematically reviewed studies that assessed help-seeking outcomes including prevention efforts utilizing (1) psychoeducational curricula, (2) gatekeeper training, and (3) public service messaging directed at youths. Of the studies reviewed, 17 studies evaluated the help-seeking outcomes. These studies were identified through a range of sources (e.g., searching online databases, examining references of published articles on suicide prevention). Results: The results of this review suggest that suicide-prevention programming has a limited impact on help-seeking behavior. Although there was some evidence that suicide-prevention programs had a positive impact on students’ help-seeking attitudes and behaviors, there was also evidence of no effects or iatrogenic effects. Sex and risk status were moderators of program effects on students help-seeking. Conclusions: Caution is warranted when considering which suicidal prevention interventions best optimize the intended goals. The impact on adolescents’ help-seeking behavior is a key concern for educators and mental-health professionals.
