Abstract Given the possibilities offered by PIV systems, it was considered appropriate to test them in the study of the formation of explosive atmospheres. In this sense, within the INCD INSEMEX Petroșani laboratories, a test stand was created subject to the conditions of applying PIV techniques. Thus, this stand was built of transparent materials, having the possibility to introduce, in the inner volume, the suspended particles and the combustible gas, being at the same time able to be sectioned by the light plane generated by a laser source and to provide the recording conditions using a CMOS camera. The physical experiments concerned both the situation of a normal atmosphere inside the test stand and the situations of the appearance of a fuel gas leak and an efficient source of initiation of the formed explosive atmosphere.

With the rapid development of today's society, air pollution is becoming one of the hottest topics of humans’ concern. Looking at the daily life, some peoples’ awareness in the dangers of indoor air pollution and household gas safety is not enough, so it may lead to a number of respiratory diseases, or "sub-health" conditions. (Such as influenza, pharyngitis and other diseases) On the other hand, some families, because of a gas leak, has not been timely warning of fires and caused the tragedy. To solve these problems, this work is designed based on low-power microcontroller as the master chip HT32F1765 100LQFP between the various smart sensors and did data exchange with the home environment monitoring system. The HT chip use as the master chip and combined with using Sharp PM2.5 gas sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, gas concentration sensor as gas sensing devices. We use all these sensors as information collection module, to collect the data information of air quality, temperature, humidity and combustible gas concentration in different rooms and different locations. The real-time data acquisition and sensor would be displayed on the touch screen. In addition, the creation of data monitoring hardware devices, as well as match the mobile phone in APP. Our users can log on the APP remotely to view home monitoring information, or to receive alarm information.. Thus, adults can safely work outside, avoiding unnecessary worry.

This study aims to create a system that can monitor gas cylinders where this device consists of two systems, the first is a system to measure the weight of 3kg LPG gas cylinders to find the remaining gas which will then be displayed on the LCD, and the second the system gives a notification (alarm) if there is a gas leak via SMS. This system consists of Arduino UNO Microcontroller components, Load cell Sensor, MQ-6 Sensor, and SIM800L GSM Module. For overall system testing, the load cell sensor system can display a percentage of the weight value obtained an error rate of 0%, this indicates that the formula used in the program runs according to what is desired. In the MQ-6 sensor system can make the buzzer on at a value >= 700 ppm, the results of the buzzer can live when the detected gas value >= 700 ppm, this is as desired. In the sim800L gsm module system can send leak notifications, the results obtained that the module can send SMS notifications. And the system turns on the buzzer when the LPG gas has reached the minimum limit, the results obtained by the buzzer will sound when the remaining gas value <= 16%. Based on tests conducted on this system the system can measure the desired weight of the cylinder to look for the remaining gas in the form of a percentage and detect a gas leak and then send an SMS notification.
