This article proposes an approach, based on which the production is considered as a distributed team of socio-management systems with their specific behavior. This statement encourages the development of new research methods and design of socio-management systems aimed at keeping their description and a behavioral aspect.

UG software is used to design the mechanical structure of a drilling jumbo, which describes the overall structure, structure and operating principle of the key components. The virtual assembly and motion simulation have been done under the UG environment, the drilling jumbo’s booms can find the position of the holes through the motion simulation, the accuracy of the calculated data is proved and the design period is also shorten, solve the interference of the two booms, which also provides new research methods and basis for CNC drilling jumbo.

Today the scientific research has become of increased significance for the library activities. This calls for implementing new research methods. The Abstracts Journal “Informatics” was analyzed for the publications on “Research methods” for the 10-year period; the findings are discussed, i.e. the rise of interest methods in the library and information community toward applying research, positive dynamics of the document flow with the 10-year doubling period. Over 100 research methods are identified. Thematically, the stable part of the document flows make approximately one-fifth of the total volume. Twenty three methods are used most frequently. The subject headings for these methods demonstrate stability which means permanent interest toward these methods and stable vectors of research methods development. Metric methods are dominating, including those being used in the digital environment. The increase of subject headings efficiency evidences on their increasing relevancy. Mobile document flows characterize the newest research methods. These are the methods being borrowed from other fields and used occasionally in the library and information studies. “The research methods” topic appears to be a trending and a developing one. The core methods are defined. Nevertheless, the major part of the document flow remains decentralized and comprises many new vectors that, while being quite relevant, have not found their niche in the library science research.

When learning a foreign language, it can prove difficult to become completely familiar with the intricacies of meaning and politeness as these elements have their roots in social and cultural contexts. In Japan, honour and politeness are of particular importance and, indeed, there exist honorific forms of the language. In the Department of Japanese Literature, Japan Women's University, Dr Kazuko Tanabe is working to improve the provision of language education for international students, which involves imparting understanding of Japanese society's honorifics. In her work, Tanabe is exploring the simplification of Japanese honorifics, looking at how far the language has transformed and the parallels with social changes. She is keen to shed light on the relationship between shifts in attitudinal expressions and social changes and is using a variety of analytical methods combining quantitative and qualitative research. In addition to analysing data, Tanabe constantly re-evaluates research methods and is not afraid to make changes. It is her belief that creating new research methods leads to new research fields. In order to advance the field, Tanabe is interested in collaborating with other researchers, particularly those involved in attitudinal expressions in foreign languages.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ACCORDING TO ISO 14001:2015
After the recasting of ISO 14001 normative, in 2015, new challenges were established in relation to the implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) by the organizations. The aim of this work was to evaluate the changes of requirements presented in the ISO 14001:2015 version and to propose recommendations to the implementation of EMS. The methodological procedures adopted were the comparative documentary analysis of rule versions (2004 and 2015), serving as the basis for the exploratory study with application of surveys for consultants and auditors that worked with the ISO 14001. The comparative documentary analysis enabled the assessment of 44 requirements in relation to the orientations for the implementation of EMS. The results showed 07 items evaluated with high change level, 12 items evaluated with medium change level and 25 items evaluated with low change level. From the responses received of the 30 questionnaires and the documentary analysis realized, 08 main recommendations were established to help the organizations in the implementation of EMS based on the new ISO 14001 version. Besides contributing in the development process of EMS, these recommendations can help to new research.

This article argues for the incorporation of library instruction into research methods courses to foster information literacy skills important to disciplinary specialization. The evidence in support emerges from a collaborative teaching and assessment project conducted by a research methods instructor and a faculty instructional librarian. The project evaluated the effectiveness of library instruction in two ways: One, essays in which students described their research process before and after library instruction were evaluated qualitatively for dominant themes. Two, students’ postinstruction literature review projects were assessed using a rubric to determine the degree to which students met learning outcomes. These assessments indicate that library instruction led to several positive outcomes. In the essays, many students described increases in skills and confidence as well as appreciation for the new research tools introduced. In sampled literature review assignments, students demonstrated skills that met or exceeded expectations.
