Goal: The main objective of this research is to identify the causes of difficulity that pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds face in technical subjects at primary school. Methods: The research group consisted of 65 respondents, of whom 59 were women teachers and 6 were man teachers. The research method was a questionnaire of our own production. Results: The biggest barrier that pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds face is the insufficient conditions for education (97%). From our research results we also perceive the parents' lack of cooperation with teachers (68%). As many as 63% of respondents do not use any form of intervention for disadvantaged pupils. 37% of respondents use methods such as: experiential methods, motivational methods, reward and punishment methods, demonstration and observation methods, brainstorming, repetition methods, practical demonstrations, competitions and games, individual approaches, information - communication technologies and teaching aids. Conclusions: The biggest problem is the lack of cooperation between the socially disadvantaged pupil's family and the school. In the future, it would be appropriate to measure the issue with a higher number of respondents as well as focus on the teaching process with the intent to determine the different methods which are used to prevent the difficulty that pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds face.

Abstract Along with mastery of the grammar and vocabulary of a given language, contemporary students are also expected to acquire intercultural communicative competence (ICC), i.e., the ability to use the language efficiently with regard to the sociocultural background of the communicative situation. This requirement should also be reflected in FL course-books, which are considered to be fundamental didactic tools in FL education, even in an era of information communication technologies. Therefore, the aim of the present paper is to report the results of the research focused on the investigation of intercultural component in the New Opportunities Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate course-book packages. To validate the findings of the content analysis, as the main research method, the method of triangulation was used, i.e., the results of the course-book package analyses were compared with those of observation and interview analyses. The findings of the research revealed that in the investigated course-book packages only some aspects of the intercultural component could be considered relevant because they were suitably treated.

Traditional means of teaching and supervising the training of chemistry students should be updated through the introduction of information and communication technologies. The following information communication technologies are used in the educational process: electronic educational and methodological complexes, electronic textbooks, video lectures, animations; electronic laboratory and practical work, didactic tests, electronic reference books (cases, projects, organizers), etc. It is very important to use information communication technologies in teaching general and inorganic chemistry. The use of new interactive teaching technologies has advantages over traditional methods. There are also some features of the use of information communication technologies in teaching general and inorganic chemistry. The article provides a detailed analysis of the use of information communication technologies. This allowed the author to conclude that the updating of traditional teaching aids in teaching a course in general and inorganic chemistry covers the entire educational process of teaching.

The use of Information Communication Technologies (ICT) in education brings up new possibilities of promoting the learning and health experiences. In this sense, education contexts of 21st century must consider these two areas of knowledge, especially their integration. This article presents learning practices developed with mobile devices and games, in order to improve learning and well-being in children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment in non-formal educational setting. The methodology is based on qualitative case studies with content-based data analysis, involving informal interviews and observation methods. The study considers data from 5 patients who participated in the research between 2015 and 2019. The results demonstrate a positive influence of the practices with mobile technologies and games in terms of learning and in the well-being feeling of patients during the treatment.

Introduction. The task of every Mathemat- ics teacher is to get interested the pupils in Mathematics, to show its beauty, and to help in liking it. One of the means for raising pupils’ motivation and interest in learning Mathematics as a science is a well-organized teaching process, which includes new interesting methods and technologies. Nowadays implementation of the computer technologies in the teaching process is an inseparable part of learning Mathematics. By means of them teachers will be able not only to efficiently present educational material, but also to show the pupils various possibilities of Mathematics. The purpose is to prove the necessity of using information-communication technologies (ICT), namely Google services at the Mathematics lessons; to discover the influ- ence of ICT on the pupils’ creative development, their attention and cognitive activity; to define the teaching recommendations concerning application of ICT in learning Mathematics. Methods. Empirical and theoretical methods were used. Results. At present the efficiency of ICT usage at the Mathematics lessons also depends on using various Internet resources, in particular online services. The developed mathematical site is an opportunity to involve pupils and teachers to interactive cooperation. Under the conditions of the distance learning it is rather useful for raising motivation to learning Mathematics and improving the conditions of the pupils’ independent studying as well as a teacher’s control over this activity. Originality. The article deals with the peculiarities of ICT usage on the basis of the Google services in teaching Mathematics. It discovers the efficiency of ICT usage at the Mathematics lessons at school and their influence on the pupils’ formation of skills and abilities to correctly use Google services while studying Mathematics. The author also describes the ways and particular methods for using the technologies at the Mathematics lessons. Conclusion. In general, information-communication technologies in teaching Mathematics, namely Google services, are a useful and productive teaching technology due to interactivity, flexibility and integration of various types of multimedia educational information and also due to the possibility to take into account the pupils’ individual peculiarities. Usage of ICT while teaching Mathematics forms the higher level of the pupils’ self-educational skills and abilities, analysis and structuring of the obtained information. Meanwhile the new teaching means allow to naturally combine the information-communication technologies and personal-orientation technologies with the methods of creative and searching activity. Due to this technology it is possible to move the teaching of Mathematics to the higher level.
