The textbook contains information: on the general characteristics and technical requirements for plastic oils; about the composition of plastic oils; about the basic physical and chemical, operational, ecological properties of plastic lubricants and methods of their definition. Considerable attention is paid to the classification, range and labeling of lubricants. The basic technological schemes of production of plastic lubricants are considered. Attention is also paid to the safety and protection of the environment during the production and use of plastic lubricants. The considered textbook plays an important role in the formation of professional knowledge in students of 161 specialties "Chemical Technology and Engineering" and students of higher technical educational institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation of related fields of knowledge. It can be useful for oil and gas professionals and engineers involved in the operation of machinery and the use of fuel, lubricants and technical fluids.

The article discusses ways to increase the oil recovery factor in already developed fields, special attention is paid to the methods of enhanced oil recovery. The comparative structure of oil production in Russia in the medium term is given. The experience of oil and gas companies in the application of enhanced oil recovery in the fields is analyzed and the dynamics of the growth in the use of various enhanced oil recovery in Russia is estimated. With an increase in the number of operations in the fields, the requirements for the selection of candidates inevitably increase, therefore, the work focuses on hydrodynamic modeling of physical and chemical modeling, highlights the features and disadvantages of existing simulators. The main dependences for adequate modeling during polymer flooding are given. The calculation with different concentration of polymer solution is presented, which significantly affects the water cut and further reduction of operating costs for the preparation of the produced fluid. The possibility of creating a specialized hydrodynamic simulator for low-volume chemical enhanced oil recovery is considered, since mainly simulators are applicable for chemical waterflooding and the impact is on the formation as a whole.

The efficiency of different physical and chemical technologies used in various areas and Romashkinskoye New-Elkhovskoye oil fields was researched. The result was a conclusion that at high water-cut objects, restriction of movement of water in highly permeable leached zones of a productive layer is one of the main conditions for increasing the efficiency of not only flooding, but also the use of physical and chemical methods based on improving of oil extraction factor.

Associated gas of coal and minor oil deposits emitting into the atmosphere is considered to be valuable energy resource requiring proper utilization both from the economic and environmental viewpoints. It is proposed to develop mobile gas-hydrate plants to utilize associated gas of mines and minor oil and gas deposits. Hydrogenerating technology to collect and utilize coalmine methane immediately at the degassing wells of coal mines and oil extraction platform has been developed. Thermobaric parameters along with physical and chemical effect upon hydrate-formation process have been substantiated and selected. Certain degree of mechanical impact as well as magnetic field and ultrasound influence upon the process of hydrate formation has been proved. The technology will make it possible to obtain end product within the degassing area for its further transportation to consumers at long distances.

The article elaborates on the topic about abrupt catagenetical alterations in sedimentary rocks and postulates the topicality and problematics of the study during exploration of new and already existing oil and gas deposits. The goal of the research is the identification of compacted zone which was formed under secondary physical and chemical processes within 110–120 temperature interval (including possible paleotemperature effect). To get the most qualitative/comprehensive results, integrated analysis of lithology, petrophysical characteristics of cored intervals in the slide sections and geological information has been done by the authors. Essential part of the article is devoted to the methodology, study description and interpretation of outcome results. Four gas condensate fields were chosen based on their similarity. They have similar tectonic, structural, generation and accumulation conditions and all of them are located in the axial and pre-axial zone of the central part of Dnieper-Donets basin. After well log data processing and precise microscopy study of slide sections, the authors concluded that 110–120 temperature surfaces, which frame compacted and altered zone (identified by the Ukrainian Research Institute of Gas), have to be shifted according to new research findings. Practical value of this work is to identify compacted and decompacted zones at a great depth, which can be an indirect indicator of traps existence for hydrocarbons and possible manifestations of abnormal pressures.

Recently various authors paid much attention to accessory minerals of clastic rocks to clarify the composition of the source area and formation conditions of terrigenous deposits. The paper describes some minerals of the heavy fraction of Triassic sandstones in the north of the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province (garnet, epidote, chromium spinels, ilmenite, etc.). We showed that the enrichment of sandstones with various mineral grains was controlled by not only the composition of the eroded rocks, but also by the hydrodynamics of the flow, as well as the method of transfer of clastic material. We noted that the features of heavy fraction minerals could be used to reconstruct sedimentation environments, taking into account their physical and chemical properties, distribution of minerals by fractions, and their stability during transportation.

Introduction. The article provides data on engineering solutions for water treatment modules being part of the utility and drinking water supply complexes in small settlements located in the Far North, where low-turbidity, high-colored waters serve as the surface sources of water supply. These sources include the river networks of the Ob River (including the southern area of the Gulf of Ob, Kara Sea), Pur River, and Taz River (including the Gulf of Taz, Kara Sea). Methods. We present an analysis of the applied water treatment technologies, reagents, and materials, as well as water processing modes, and establish the reasons for the unsatisfactory performance of the operated water treatment modules implementing physical-and-chemical methods of water purification. Results. It is found that the use of granular materials as media for rapid filters (AS, MS, MZhF autocatalytic sorbents) is not very effective since they are intended for the purification of colorless groundwater with a high content of dissociated compounds of divalent iron and manganese. Throughout the year, the modules operate without account for seasonal fluctuations in the qualitative composition of the source water and with reagents that have lost their active properties. Conclusion. Based on the conducted studies, we propose engineering solutions for the purification of low-turbidity, high-colored waters of surface sources, making it possible to achieve target quality indicators complying with the best available technologies.
