Filter Bank Multi Carrier (FBMC) offers best detestable properties took a gander at over orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) to the attack of nonexistent hindrance. FBMC system is a multicarrier structure, particularly sensible for 5G remote correspondences. FBMC beats OFDM as a result of proficient use of the open information move limit and without usage of cyclic prefix (CP). ABSTRAKGenerasi telekomunikasi kelima (5G) diterapkan pada 2021 dengan frekuensi tinggi yang menyebabkan redaman yang besar dibandingkan pita sub-1 GHz. Penelitian ini mengkaji sistem 5G dengan frekuensi operasi 3,3 GHz dan bandwidth 99 MHz berdasarkan spesifikasi 5G dari Cyclic Prefix-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (CP-OFDM) numerologi μ = 1 menggunakan parameter lingkungan yang diukur secara langsung di kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa model kanal 5G dengan pengaruh kelembapan maksimum memiliki power delay profile (PDP) 9 path dengan nilai daya yang lebih kecil dan outage performances (𝑅>𝐶) yang lebih buruk dengan gap sebesar 0,3 dB dibandingkan dengan pengaruh kelembapan minimum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan convolutional codes dapat membantu menghemat Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) dengan gap sebesar 3 dB. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perkembangan komunikasi nirkabel 5G di Indonesia.Kata kunci: 5G, model kanal, convolutional codes, PDP, FER, BER. ABSTRACTThe fifth generation of telecommunications (5G) implemented in 2021, where high frequency which causes a large attenuation compared to the sub-1 GHz band. This research examines a 5G system with an operating frequency of 3.3 GHz and a bandwidth of 99 MHz based on the 5G specification of the Cyclic Prefix - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (CP-OFDM) numerology μ = 1 using environmental parameters measured directly in Bandung, Indonesia. This research shows that the 5G channel model under maximum humidity has a 9 power delay profile (PDP) with a smaller power value and worse outage performances (𝑅>𝐶) with a gap of 0.3 dB compared to the effect of minimum humidity. The results showed that the use of convolutional codes can save the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) with gap of 3 dB. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of 5G wireless communications in Indonesia.Keywords: 5G, channel model, convolutional codes, PDP, FER, BER.

Transmisi data kecepatan tinggi menjadi sorotan masyarakat saat ini karena semakin banyak masyarakat menggunakan teknologi nirkabel pita lebar untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Long Term Evolution (LTE) masih menjadi teknologi eksisting yang memanfaatkan sistem Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) sebagai solusi penghematan bandwidth. Untuk mempertahankan kualitas data dari distorsi, maka dibutuhkan teknik estimasi kanal. Dengan mengetahui hasil estimasi kanal, maka akan didapatkan solusi untuk meminimalisasi efek distorsi. Respon impuls diasumsikan berupa kanal fading Rayleigh. Estimasi kanal yang dipakai adalah metode estimasi Piece-wise Linear dengan 2 slope. Serangkaian penelitian yang bisa dilakukan setelah estimasi kanal adalah estimasi efek doppler, minimalisasi interferensi antar-simbol, dan efisiensi serta optimalisasi sistem. Dari hasil simulasi menggunakan program Matlab dengan 100 kali iterasi, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa semakin besar Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), semakin kecil error yang terjadi. Nilai rata-rata error estimasi dari SNR=9-40 dB adalah 2.4%-38.2%.

AbstractSelective transmission or filtering always responds to either frequency or incident angle, so as hardly to maximize signal-to-noise ratio in communication, detection and sensing. Here, we propose compact meta-filters of narrow-frequency sharp-angular transmission peak along with broad omnidirectional reflection sidebands, in all-dielectric cascaded subwavelength meta-gratings. The inherent collective resonance of waveguide-array modes and thin film approximation of meta-grating are employed as the design strategy. A unity transmission peak, locating at the incident angle of 44.4° and the center wavelength of 1550 nm, is demonstrated in a silicon meta-filter consisting of two-layer silicon rectangular meta-grating. These findings provide possibilities in cascaded meta-gratings spectroscopic design and alternative utilities for high signal-to-noise ratio applications in focus-free spatial filtering and anti-noise systems in telecommunications.

The LIFT technology has applied in process of denoising to ensure the imaging precision of minor faults and structure in 3D coalfield seismic processing. The paper focused on the denoising process in two study areas where the LIFT technology is used. The separation of signal and noise is done firstly. Then denoising would be done in the noise data. The Data of weak effective signal that is from the noise data could be blended with the original effective signal to reconstruct the denoising data, so the result which has high signal-to-noise ratio and preserved amplitude is acquired. Thus the fact shows that LIFT is an effective denoising method for 3D seismic in coalfield and could be used widely in other work area.
