Filter Bank Multi Carrier (FBMC) offers best detestable properties took a gander at over orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) to the attack of nonexistent hindrance. ABSTRAKGenerasi telekomunikasi kelima (5G) diterapkan pada 2021 dengan frekuensi tinggi yang menyebabkan redaman yang besar dibandingkan pita sub-1 GHz. Penelitian ini mengkaji sistem 5G dengan frekuensi operasi 3,3 GHz dan bandwidth 99 MHz berdasarkan spesifikasi 5G dari Cyclic Prefix-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (CP-OFDM) numerologi μ = 1 menggunakan parameter lingkungan yang diukur secara langsung di kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa model kanal 5G dengan pengaruh kelembapan maksimum memiliki power delay profile (PDP) 9 path dengan nilai daya yang lebih kecil dan outage performances (𝑅>𝐶) yang lebih buruk dengan gap sebesar 0,3 dB dibandingkan dengan pengaruh kelembapan minimum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan convolutional codes dapat membantu menghemat Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) dengan gap sebesar 3 dB. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perkembangan komunikasi nirkabel 5G di Indonesia.Kata kunci: 5G, model kanal, convolutional codes, PDP, FER, BER. ABSTRACTThe fifth generation of telecommunications (5G) implemented in 2021, where high frequency which causes a large attenuation compared to the sub-1 GHz band. This research examines a 5G system with an operating frequency of 3.3 GHz and a bandwidth of 99 MHz based on the 5G specification of the Cyclic Prefix - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (CP-OFDM) numerology μ = 1 using environmental parameters measured directly in Bandung, Indonesia. This research shows that the 5G channel model under maximum humidity has a 9 power delay profile (PDP) with a smaller power value and worse outage performances (𝑅>𝐶) with a gap of 0.3 dB compared to the effect of minimum humidity. The results showed that the use of convolutional codes can save the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) with gap of 3 dB. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of 5G wireless communications in Indonesia.Keywords: 5G, channel model, convolutional codes, PDP, FER, BER.

Transmisi data kecepatan tinggi menjadi sorotan masyarakat saat ini karena semakin banyak masyarakat menggunakan teknologi nirkabel pita lebar untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Long Term Evolution (LTE) masih menjadi teknologi eksisting yang memanfaatkan sistem Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) sebagai solusi penghematan bandwidth. Untuk mempertahankan kualitas data dari distorsi, maka dibutuhkan teknik estimasi kanal. Dengan mengetahui hasil estimasi kanal, maka akan didapatkan solusi untuk meminimalisasi efek distorsi. Respon impuls diasumsikan berupa kanal fading Rayleigh. Estimasi kanal yang dipakai adalah metode estimasi Piece-wise Linear dengan 2 slope. Serangkaian penelitian yang bisa dilakukan setelah estimasi kanal adalah estimasi efek doppler, minimalisasi interferensi antar-simbol, dan efisiensi serta optimalisasi sistem. Dari hasil simulasi menggunakan program Matlab dengan 100 kali iterasi, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa semakin besar Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), semakin kecil error yang terjadi. Nilai rata-rata error estimasi dari SNR=9-40 dB adalah 2.4%-38.2%.

In the context of continuous improvement of radio prospecting and active radio jamming technics along with introduction of automated active countermeasures systems (ACS), the frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) radio communication systems (RCS) are widely used in order to improve reliability and noise immunity of data transmission. The noise immunity of the RCS affected by unintentional or deliberate interference can be significantly perfected by the combined use of frequency-time division and antinoise coding. This paper explores the case when the interference created by an ACS system with a limited transmitter power covers a part of the RCS frequency range. The receiver gets input mix of the wanted signal, the receiver noise, and probably a deliberate interference also considered as a noise. The article analyzes the noise immunity of signals reception with FHSS in the low-speed radio systems with joint use of frequency-time division of information subsymbols and noise combating codes when the deliberate interference destructively impacts a part of the RCS working band. Dependence of the bit error probability on the signal-to-noise ratio is calculated for the joint use of frequency division of information subsymbols and noise combating codes. It is shown that due to effective use of the frequency-energy resource of a radio line, considering the use of correction codes, a quite high noise immunity of RCS under the influence of deliberate interference can be assured. The indicated dependences of the error probability on the signal-to-noise ratio confirm that the reliability of data transmission can be significantly increased by the proper combination of signal spectrum spreading, applying of correction codes, and frequency division of subsymbols followed by their weight processing.
