The paper dwells on the impact of new tecnologies, in particular the artificial intelligence, in a somewhat original perspective that is not related to the theme of predictive justice, but the forthcoming “reflections” on criminal fault. The author draws inspiration from some (more or less) recent cases of unintentional disaster to examine the possible concrete effects of the artificial intelligence on the criminal fault, referring to the “weak” meaning of artificial intelligence. It is desiderable that, in the near future, the use of the artificial intelligence will allow to reduce the incidence of human conduct on the verification of unintentional disasters.

BACKGROUND: To combat COVID-19, curb the pandemic, and manage containment, governments around the world are turning to data collection and population monitoring for analysis and prediction. The massive data generated through the use of big data and artificial intelligence can play an important role in addressing this unprecedented global health and economic crisis. OBJECTIVES: The objective of this work is to develop an expert system that combines several solutions to combat COVID-19. The main solution is based on a new developed software called General Guide (GG) application. This expert system allows us to explore, monitor, forecast, and optimize the data collected in order to take an efficient decision to ensure the safety of citizens, forecast, and slow down the spread’s rate of COVID-19. It will also facilitate countries’ interventions and optimize resources. Moreover, other solutions can be integrated into this expert system, such as the automatic vehicle and passenger sanitizing system equipped with a thermal and smart High Definition (HD) cameras and multi-purpose drones which offer many services. All of these solutions will facilitate lifting COVID-19 restrictions and minimize the impact of this pandemic. METHODS: The methods used in this expert system will assist in designing and analyzing the model based on big data and artificial intelligence (machine learning). This can enhance countries’ abilities and tools in monitoring, combating, and predicting the spread of COVID-19. RESULTS: The results obtained by this prediction process and the use of the above mentioned solutions will help monitor, predict, generate indicators, and make operational decisions to stop the spread of COVID-19. CONCLUSIONS: This developed expert system can assist in stopping the spread of COVID-19 globally and putting the world back to work.

AbstractThe first few months of 2020 have profoundly changed the way we live our lives and carry out our daily activities. Although the widespread use of futuristic robotaxis and self-driving commercial vehicles has not yet become a reality, the COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically accelerated the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in different fields. We have witnessed the equivalent of two years of digital transformation compressed into just a few months. Whether it is in tracing epidemiological peaks or in transacting contactless payments, the impact of these developments has been almost immediate, and a window has opened up on what is to come. Here we analyze and discuss how AI can support us in facing the ongoing pandemic. Despite the numerous and undeniable contributions of AI, clinical trials and human skills are still required. Even if different strategies have been developed in different states worldwide, the fight against the pandemic seems to have found everywhere a valuable ally in AI, a global and open-source tool capable of providing assistance in this health emergency. A careful AI application would enable us to operate within this complex scenario involving healthcare, society and research.

This paper investigates the digitalization challenges facing the Italian healthcare system. The aim of the paper is to support healthcare organizations as they take advantage of the potential of big data and artificial intelligence (AI) to promote sustainable healthcare systems. Both the development of innovative processes in the management of health care activities and the introduction of healthcare forecasting systems are valuable resources for clinical and care activities and enable a more efficient use of inputs in essential-level care delivery. By examining an innovative project developed by the Regional Social Health Agency (ARSS) of Veneto, this study analyses the impact of big data and AI on the sustainability of a healthcare system. In order to answer the research question, we used a case study methodology. We conducted semi-structured interviews with key members of the organizational group involved in the case. The results show that the implementation of AI algorithms based on big data in healthcare both improves the interpretation and processing of data, and reduces the time frame necessary for clinical processes, having a positive effect on sustainability.

Big data analytics in recent years had developed lightning fast applications that deal with predictive analysis of huge volumes of data in domains of finance, health, weather, travel, marketing and more. Business analysts take their decisions using the statistical analysis of the available data pulled in from social media, user surveys, blogs and internet resources. Customer sentiment has to be taken into account for designing, launching and pricing a product to be inducted into the market and the emotions of the consumers changes and is influenced by several tangible and intangible factors. The possibility of using Big data analytics to present data in a quickly viewable format giving different perspectives of the same data is appreciated in the field of finance and health, where the advent of decision support system is possible in all aspects of their working. Cognitive computing and artificial intelligence are making big data analytical algorithms to think more on their own, leading to come out with Big data agents with their own functionalities.

Innovative technologies are being increasingly used on the insurance market, as well. However, while analyzing and assessing their impact on the market what must be taken into account are not only distributors of insurance services, but also institutions performing regulatory and supervisory tasks, and perhaps above all, customers and consumers. The present article seeks to analyze the conditions, benefits and barriers associated with the application of innovative technologies with special regard to big data analytics, artificial intelligence and the possibility of absorption of innovative products and services by their customers. It has been emphasized that while evaluating the suitability of innovative technologies for the insurance market it is vital to confront product offers provided by insurance undertakings and intermediaries with the expectations, needs and skills of the purchasers of these products.

The article examines the impact of digital technologies on the organization of accounting for tax payments. It is noted that this area of accounting is one of the most difficult, which determines the relevance of the study of the impact of digital technologies on the organization of accounting for tax payments. The research methodology is based on general scientific methods of cognition: logical, systemic, induction, deduction, analysis. Any company seeks to optimize their size and avoid penalties when making calculations for tax payments. However, in practice, most companies do not pay due attention to the development and implementation of the necessary procedures for optimizing tax calculations. A prerequisite for the optimal tax policy of the enterprise is a rationally developed accounting policy. Formalization of accounting policy is carried out by approving the Order on accounting policy. When forming this internal regulation, it is expedient to single out the section "Organization of accounting for settlements with the budget for tax payments", which discloses the method of accounting for calculations of a tax or fee depending on the nature and specifics of the enterprise, its industry characteristics Of the Tax Code of Ukraine. In this section of the accounting policy of the enterprise it is expedient to include the Working plan of accounts and the schedule of document flow. The final stage of the organization of the account of calculations with the budget on tax payments is drawing up of the tax reporting and its representation. At this stage, the use of digital technologies can significantly reduce the time spent on filling out the appropriate forms of tax reporting, and their submission. The main software products used by modern enterprises in the organization of accounting for tax payments include: technology Artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence), Big Data (big data), Cloud technologies and computing (cloud technology and computing), Blockchain (blockchain). The use of digital technologies in the organization of accounting for tax payments is the key to improving the tax discipline of the enterprise, which in combination with a properly designed and formalized accounting policy of the enterprise avoids the cost of fines and other financial sanctions imposed by fiscal authorities.
