Digital dentistry has gained space in several dental specialties. It is possible to achieve excellent results with the digital workflow, which combines the efficiency of the restorative material with a greater marginal adaptation. This study aimed to report a clinical case through the digital workflow, with a faster and clinically acceptable prosthetic resolution. In this clinical case report, digital workflow allowed a faster and clinically acceptable prosthetic resolution. A 45-year-old female patient reported cementation failure of the prosthetic crown on tooth 14. As it was a vital tooth, the tooth received a total crown preparation. In the same clinical session, the patient's mouth was scanned then a capture software obtained a virtual model. After, the design software planned a digital "diagnostic wax-up",  so a leucitic ceramic was chosen for the rehabilitation. The ceramic block was milled and receive stain and glaze, dispensing the prosthesis laboratory. Then, the adhesive cementation was performed with a dual-polymerized resin cement. The final crown had ideal adaptation, with no need for interproximal and occlusal adjustments, with an excellent marginal fit. Within the limitations of this study, this case report showed that the digital workflow allowed a favorable result in a shorter working time, which brought back function and aesthetics, without the need for interproximal and occlusal adjustments. Objective: The aim of this case report is to describe the treatment of a primary molar with a deep carious lesion by pulpotomy and placement of a ceramic endocrown. Clinical case: A 7-year-old male patient with profound caries in tooth number 85 was referred to our clinic and underwent a pulpotomy. As the final treatment in tooth restoration, placement of an endocrown was planned, because little more than half of the tooth structure remained. After an additional request from the patient's parents for an advanced and prompt restoration, a computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) polymer-infiltrated ceramic network (PICN) block was chosen. A three-dimensional model of the arch was obtained after scanning the dental cast, and the endocrown was designed digitally according to the model. When the design was complete, the endocrown was fabricated with a milling machine. Finally, the endocrown was cemented with self-adhesive resin cement. Results: Over the 9-month follow-up period, no pulpal or periradicular pathology was observed on radiographs. Regarding the crown, the marginal fit was excellent, the anatomical form was protected, and no discoloration occurred. Conclusion: During follow-up, the CAD/CAM PICN block endocrown proved to be a good material for the short- to long-term treatment of a primary tooth. However, more clinical cases and follow-up are required to investigate the long-term effects of antagonistic tooth wear.

<p><strong>O</strong><span lang="en-US"><strong>bjective: </strong></span><span lang="en-US">This study evaluated the effect of drying times of two total-etch &amp; rinse adhesives on the resin bond strength to a feldsphatic ceramic, before and after aging. </span><span lang="en-US"><strong>Material and Methods: </strong></span><span lang="en-US">Feldsphatic-ceramic CAD-CAM bars were cut into blocks (12×10×4 mm) with a cutting machine (N = 32). </span><span lang="en-US">Impressions were made of each ceramic block with silicone putty material and the negative space was filled with a composite resin.</span><span lang="en-US"> The bonding ceramic surface was etched with hydrofluoric acid, silanized, and the adhesive system (SB- Single Bond 2, 3M-ESPE; or PB- Prime &amp; Bond NT, Dentsply) was applied. The samples were dried at different times (5, 10 and 15 s) before the cementation. The resin and ceramic blocks were cemented by a dual cure resin cement. All samples were stored in distilled water at 37 °C for 24 h. For the μ-TBS test, the samples were sliced into microbars. Half of the bars of each block was tested after 24 h and, the other bars </span><span lang="en-US">were submitted to thermocycling (12,000×) and water storage (150 d)</span><span lang="en-US">. For the 24 h groups, the longer drying time increased (p &lt; 0.05) the bond strength of SB (water/alcohol adhesive), while reduced (p &lt; 0.05) for the PB group (acetone based adhesive). </span><span lang="en-US"><strong>Results: </strong></span><span lang="en-US">For the aged groups, the bond strength for the different drying times had no significant difference, for the both adhesives. </span><span lang="en-US"><strong>Conclusion:</strong></span><span lang="en-US"> Longer drying times increased the bond strength values of SB. Smaller drying times increased the bond strength values of PB. Introduction: Esthetics dental treatments involving ceramic laminate veneers can obtain optimal results through detailed considerations with respect to teeth preparations, gingival margins and esthetic factors. Objectives: This case report aims to present a conservative management for ceramic conservative preparation associated with the digital workflow for ceramic laminates, with 18-month follow-up. Case Report: Patient complaining of a child smile due to diastemas in the anterior region. The planning and design of the smile was carried out using a software (Keynote, Ceramill Mind). After molding and printing a 3D model, a mock-up was performed, which was used as a surgical guide for the performance of gingivoplasty. The conservative dental preparation was then performed, with cervical enamel preservation. The ceramic laminates were made after molding and scanning the model, using the CAD/CAM system and cemented on the dental surface. It was observed that there was an increase in gingival quality and thickness, achieving esthetics, color and marginal stability, after 18 months of follow-up. Conclusion: The conservative preparation technique associated with the digital workflow allowed the manufacture of thin ceramic laminate veneer, promoting stability of esthetics and periodontal health after 18 months.

SUMMARY Background: This case report describes the complete full-mouth treatment of hypocalcified amelogenesis imperfecta (AI) by chairside computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM). Case summary: After several years of interrupted dental care, a 17-year-old female patient presented with pain and also esthetic and functional discomfort. With loss of enamel and dyschromia affecting all teeth, the diagnosis was hypocalcified AI. Affected tissues were eliminated, gingivectomy with laser was performed, an indented jig was used to record the centric relationship during optical impressions, and 28 full ceramic crowns were created by chairside CAD/CAM in four sessions. The patient reported rapid pain relief and an overall improvement of well-being. Conclusion: AI sequelae can be treated promptly and conservatively with chairside CAD/CAM, obtaining esthetic and functional results.

Background. Mucocele is the most common minor salivary glands disease. Its management may present a challenge for dental professionals. The aim of the present clinical case was to describe mucocele treatment with diode laser and its benefits. Case Report. A case of lower lip mucocele in a 10-year-old female patient is reported. A conventional excision surgery was performed. Two months later, the patient reported discomfort and swelling at the same operative site. The lesion had recurred. Thus, mucocele was removed using a diode laser with wavelength of 980 nm, an initiated fiberoptic tip of 300 μm, in continuous mode, and a power setting of 2 Watts. The procedure was rapidly completed with no bleeding. The patient was followed-up after 2 weeks and 6 months. The wound healed without complications: no postoperative discomfort or pain and no infection. There was no recurrence. Conclusion. Diode laser is an effective, easy, bloodless, and well-accepted procedure to treat mucocele in pediatric patients.

Since the introduction of porcelain laminate veneers in the early 1980s, the anterior esthetic rehabilitation with PLVs has been provided with a conventional restorative technique for many years. Recently, a new concept named digital workflow has been raised that will lead to the abandonment of conventional procedures during the fabrication of PLVs. Digital workflow is a new concept facilitating applications by adapting digital systems to clinical applications, including intra- and extraoral photographs, diagnostic wax-up, mock-up, intraoral camera, and use of the CAD/CAM device. The aim of this case report is to describe the clinical procedures of porcelain laminate veneers using digital workflow with a facilitating step in a single session and to evaluate the PLVs after one year of clinical service.

Osteochondropathy of the proximal ulnar bone is a rare disease that affects not only the ulnar, but also the venous process. To our knowledge, the existing domestic and foreign medical literature does not provide a description of osteochondropathy of the coronal process, a topic of considerable interest from the point of view of diagnosis and treatment. Here, we describe a clinical case of osteochondropathy of the coronal process and present a clinical picture of the defect of the elbow joint in the patient, with radiographs taken before and after the surgery. In the present clinical case, postoperatively, the patient reported pain; however, the elbow joint function was fully restored, indicating the success of the treatment and that active surgical treatment of this disease is adequate and timely.
