This study aimed to examine the effect of good corporate governance, firm size, leverage, and profitability on accounting conservatism level. The population use in this study are all banking industry companies listed on the stock exchange (BEI) 2008-2015 who report good ccorporate governance completely. The sampling technique use in this research is purposive sampling. There are 18 companies that qualified as sample. Data analysis method used is multiple linier regression analysis using SPSS 23 program for windows, where the significance level use was 0.05. The result show that good corporate governance and firm size have no significant effect on accounting conservatism level. Meanwhile, leverage and profitability have significant effect on accounting conservatism level.

ABSTRACT This reseach amied at knowing the influence of audit quality, propotion of independent commissioner, audit committe, firm size, managerial ownership and leverage. It used purposive sampling technique or choosing samples based on certain criteria. The sample of this research was 25 companies of banking industry in indonesia stock exchange period 2008-2012. Descriptive analysis, classical test, as well as multiple linear regression by examining the hypothesis using SPSS 20.0 were used to analyzed the data. The result shows that (1) all independent variables simultaneously hasinfluence on earnings management; (2) however partially audit committee, audit quality, managerial ownership and leverage do not affect significantly to earnings management; (3) only firm size and independent commissioner that affect significantly to earning management. This study aims to analyze the effect of whistleblowing hotline on internal fraud in the banking industry in Indonesia and to further examine whether the whistleblowing hotline can limit fraud. Observations were made over a period of 10 years. The sample in this study was 270 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) which were determined through purposive sampling technique. The research data uses the company's annual report for the 2010-2019 period obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and Good Corporate Governance data obtained from the company's official website. The analytical method used is linear regression using SPSS software. The results showed that the whistleblowing hotline had a significant negative effect on internal fraud. However, in order for the whistleblowing hotline to run effectively, adequate resources are needed in managing the hotline and definite legal protection for whistleblowers.

This study aims to empirically examine the influence of environmental performance, environmental disclosure, and good corporate governance on stock prices of mining company listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange around 2014 to 2018. The research sample was selected using the non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as seven companies, so that the number of observations with a study period of 5 years was 35 observations. The data analysis was analysed by using the multiple linear regression technique. The result show that environmental performance, environmental disclosure, and good corporate governance positively affected companies’ stock prices in the market. This study aims to determine the effect of RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings and Capital) on Financial Distress in banks listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2016-2019. The sample data used is the result of the purposive sampling technique and the samples declared worthy to be utilized are 21 banks. During the study conducted, the method was adopted which is a method of logistic regression analysis using SPSS 25 program aid. The results of the research show that the variables that are known can affect the Financial Distress is Return On Asset affect negatively and significantly. Meanwhile, variables that do not affect Financial Distress are Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio, Good Corporate Governance, and Capital Adequacy Ratio. Simultaneously Non Performing Loans, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Good Corporate Governance, Return on Assets and Capital Adequacy Ratio have a significant effect on Financial Distress.

Study aims to obtain the empirical evidence about the influence of accounting conservatism, investment opportunity set, and good corporate governance on earnings quality of corporates in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. These three factors will certainly affect how earnings are presented to users of financial statements as information in decision making. Secondary data are used in this study. All companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2013-2015 are the population in this study. The numbers of samples in this study were 381 companies that were selected by using purposive sampling technique. Multiple linear regression analysis is selected as a data analysis technique. The results show that accounting conservatism has a positive effect on earnings quality. Investment opportunity set has a positive effect on earnings quality. In addition, good corporate governance has no effect on earnings quality. Keywords: Earnings quality, accounting conservatism, investment opportunity set, good corporate governance.

This study aimed to analyze the effect  offirm size, good corporate governance and operational efficiency on financial performance of banks (Case Study of State-owned Banks Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2020 Period).  The research method uses a quantitative approach. The data used in this research is secondary data. The research sample was drawn using a saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population were used as samples, namely 4 state-owned banks. The results of the study partially show that the variables of firm size, good corporate governance and operating efficiency have a significant effect on financial performance. Simultaneously, the variables of firm size, good corporate governance and operating efficiency have a significant effect on financial performance.

Accounting conservatism is the precautionary principle to the profit recognition and one of the corporate governance to reduce the ability of the manager in manipulate and exaggerating the financial statements. Corporate governance is a internal control system which has its business objectives through securing company’s assets. This research is aiming to see the correlation among auditor independence and good corporate governance in accounting conservatism. Characteristics of good corporate governance in this are managerial ownership, profitability, company size and leverage. This research uses two measurements of conservatism non operating accrual and market to book ratio. This research as carried out at manufacture company in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2014. Sample selection do by purposive sampling method and obtained 49 companies in criteria accordingly. This research used data analysis and multiple liniear regression program eviews 9. The result showed that the effect of auditor independence is not significant in accounting conservatism in indonesia. Good corporate governance influential only the size of the company and ownership. The measurement of non operating accrual and market to book ratio show different results. Further research is expected to use another proxy for other variables to measure accounting conservatism.

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of GCG variables, firm size, and leverage on earnings management. The sample used is 35 public listed property and real estatecompanies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2015 until 2017. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. This study uses multiple regression. The results of the analysis showed that managerial ownership does not have a negative effect on earnings management but oppositely, it has a positive effect on earnings management, while company size does not have any effect on earning management.</em><em> </em></p>

The research aims to prove empirically the influence of Non-Performing Loans, Loans to Deposit Ratio, Good Corporate Governance, Net Interest Margin, and Capital Adequacy Ratio on financial performance of banking companies listed on the IDX. Agency theory and Productive theory of credit are the theories used in this study. The study population is all Banking Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018 totaling 45 companies. The research sample of 30 companies with non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The research results obtained by Non Performing Loans are considered negative, Loan to Deposit Ratio and Good Corporate Governance are not approved and are significant, Net Interest Margin and Capital Adequacy Ratio have positive and significant effect on financial performance. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the risk-based bank rating component as measured by non-performing loans, loan to deposit ratio, good corporate governance, return on assets and capital adequacy ratio on the value of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) Year 2013-2017. The research sample was selected using the nonprobability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 6 banking companies, so that the number of observations with a study period of 5 years was 30 observations. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that non-performing loans and loan to deposit ratios have a negative effect on the value of banking companies. Return on assets and capital adequacy ratio have a positive effect on the value of banking companies and good corporate governance does not affect the value of banking companies.
