Internet of Things (IOT) is a development of the internet which plays a  major role in integrating human-machine interaction by allowing everyday objects to send and receive data in a variety of applications. Using IOT in healthcare monitoring provides an avenue for doctors and patients to interact and to track the dosage of medication administered. The paper presents an interactive, user friendly network integrated with an automated medicine dispenser which uses IOT, cloud computing and machine learning. The network was built on a python tornado framework with a front end developed using materialise CSS. The feasibility of this approach was validated by building a prototype and conducting a survey.

AbstractIn this paper, we present an overview of the MOVING platform, a user-driven approach that enables young researchers, decision makers, and public administrators to use machine learning and data mining tools to search, organize, and manage large-scale information sources on the web such as scientific publications, videos of research talks, and social media. In order to provide a concise overview of the platform, we focus on its front end, which is the MOVING web application. By presenting the main components of the web application, we illustrate what functionalities and capabilities the platform offer its end-users, rather than delving into the data analysis and machine learning technologies that make these functionalities possible.

RaDMaX online is a major update to the previously published RaDMaX (radiation damage in materials analysed with X-ray diffraction) software [Souilah, Boulle & Debelle (2016). J. Appl. Cryst. 49, 311–316]. This program features a user-friendly interface that allows retrieval of strain and disorder depth profiles in irradiated crystals from the simulation of X-ray diffraction data recorded in symmetrical θ/2θ mode. As compared with its predecessor, RaDMaX online has been entirely rewritten in order to be able to run within a simple web browser, therefore avoiding the necessity to install any programming environment on the users' computers. The RaDMaX online web application is written in Python and developed within a Jupyter notebook implementing graphical widgets and interactive plots. RaDMaX online is free and open source and can be accessed on the internet at https://aboulle.github.io/RaDMaX-online/.

This chapter introduces a conceptual model for the design of Web 2.0 applications relying on rich Internet application (RIA) technologies. RIAs extend Web application features by allowing computation to be partitioned between the client and the server and support core Web 2.0 requirements, like real-time collaboration among users, sophisticated presentation and manipulation of multimedia content, and flexible human-machine interaction (synchronous and asynchronous, connected and disconnected). The proposed approach for the design of Web 2.0 applications extends a conceptual platform-independent model conceived for Web 1.0 applications with novel primitives capturing RIA features; the conceptual model can be automatically converted into implementations in all the most popular RIA technologies and frameworks like AJAX, OpenLaszlo, FLEX, AIR, Google Gears, Google Web toolkit, and Silverlight.

"Human-machine interaction (HMI) is a multilayered discipline that includes the study of human factors, engineering and interaction design. By its own definition HMI brings together heterogenous design challenges that cross multiple domains. Radical innovation in the field of machine learning, material science, manufacturing processes, sensing and actuating systems are rapidly transforming the way we interact with technology: computers are disappearing into everyday objects, products and systems are becoming more autonomous and proactive, and new interaction techniques are able to capture the richness of the human body expressivity. In this paper, we propose the interface as the material and conceptual place where the novel challenges of HMI should be addressed and solved. Our goal is to open a debate on the centrality of the interface design in industrial design and on the establishment of a multidisciplinary framework to synthesize technological, cognitive, social, cultural, and economic instances. Mobile edge computing is a recent trend to complement the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem in the computing sector. IoT is the internet connected communications related to physical devices and everyday objects. The emergence of intelligent living spaces has been due to the rapid development of IoT technologies. Blockchain is one such technology that expands the list of information also referred to like records that are saved as blocks in the Blockchain which are connected using cryptographic algorithms. Within a Blockchain IoT environment, when data or device authentication information is stored in a Blockchain, authentication information can be displayed when verifying Block chain’s transactions, which are also referred to as proof of work. A principle of Zero-knowledge proof (ZKF) is implemented in this paper which is a way of proving that knowledge is known without exposing any data to the user. The proposed model uses a Mobile application where users can prove without revealing users' passwords. Blockchain stores client information that can prevent data from being manipulated. The results of applying the ZKF theory for data security are shown through a web application and NFC.

Object detection and tracking are essential and testing undertaking in numerous PC vision appliances. To distinguish the object first find a way to accumulate information. In this design, the robot can distinguish the item and track it just as it can turn left and right position and afterward push ahead and in reverse contingent on the object motion. It keeps up the consistent separation between the item and the robot. We have designed a webpage that is used to display a live feed from the camera and the camera can be controlled by the user efficiently. Implementation of machine learning is done for detection purposes along with open cv and creating cloud storage. The pan-tilt mechanism is used for camera control which is attached to our 3-wheel chassis robot through servo motors. This idea can be used for surveillance purposes, monitoring local stuff, and human-machine interaction.
