The detection of unauthorised users can be problematic for techniques that are available at present if the nefarious actors are using identity hiding tools such as anonymising proxies or Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). This work presents computational models to address the limitations currently experienced in detecting VPN traffic. The experiments conducted to classify OpenVPN usage found that the Neural Network was able to correctly identify the VPN traffic with an overall accuracy of 93.71%. These results demonstrate a significant advancement in the detection of unauthorised user access with evidence showing that there could be further advances for research in this field particularly in the application of business security where the detection of VPN usage is important to an organization.

The object of security of entrepreneurial activity, as a material category, is the enterprise itself in its various manifestations, aspects of activity. The object of business security is a set of protected legitimate interests of the enterprise (economic, informational, corporate), which are encroached upon. The classification of objects of legal security of business activity is given. Conclusion. Supporting the general position of scientists of the system approach, in this study the material (regulatory, declarative, abstract, ideal) and procedural (activity, procedural) concepts of security science are distinguished. In fact, we consider security as a material abstract phenomenon – an idealized state of security. We consider security from a procedural point of view – as an activity to achieve a state of security. Keywords: security of entrepreneurial activity, legal organization of security of entrepreneurial activity.

In the conditions of modern economy, factors that affect the security of the business, but relate to external resources in relation to the company or opportunities, become significant. These resources and opportunities in economics have traditionally been identified with macro-economic (economic growth, inflation, exchange rates, government support) and institutional parameters (regulatory framework, transaction costs). The influence of the quality of economic space on economic security of business through the evaluation of opportunities that are tied to the specifics of the economic space is the least researched, including in our country. In this case, according to the latest research in the field of economic geography, economic space acts as a structure-forming platform that can form local markets, with intensive interaction of business agents. The purpose of this study is ensuring of economic security by building business networks in a single economic space. The research area focuses on indicators that characterize economic space, which are successfully used in international practice to determine the quality of economic space. The realization of this approach requires the use of traditional methods of scientific research, such as analysis, comparison, graphical method for visualizing obtained results, which allows determining the agglomeration zone and the space of business networks in it. When considering economic space in relation to building a business network in improving business security, main focus is on the quality of economic space that the region has. The proposed methods of evaluating the quality of economic space are actively used to determine the possibility of building business networks in this space. The authors conclude that business networks play a crucial role in improving the economic security of business in a particular economic space. The set of proposed measures provides additional opportunities and increases the influence of economic space on business security and creates the zone of maximum external security.

Tourism has become a mass phenomenon on a global level, it has long ceased to be associated only with summer and winter vacations. During the year, tourists are offered various services and opportunities, new destinations and new types of arrangements. With the progressive development of tourism, more and more attention is paid to the allotment contract (contract on the engagement of catering facilities) which enables the travel agency and the caterer (hotel) to perform tourist activity more efficiently and easily. For tourism service providers, the contract provides a higher and longer-lasting level of business security and stability, thus guaranteeing tourists a safer, better and more accessible service. The paper points out the importance and characteristics of the contract on allotment in tourism, the rights and obligations of the contracting parties and their role and position in tourism.

The modern economy is characterized by a high level of dynamism of the factors of the external and internal environment of enterprises, influencing the possibility of their stable development. With the transition of the Russian economy to market methods of doing business, in which enterprise management must take into account various scenarios, risk becomes an integral element of socio-economic relations. Risk is present in all spheres of life, regardless of whether its presence is taken into account in the situation of choosing an alternative method of managing a business entity or not. The presence of risk is a significant factor in the development of business and the economy as a whole. To minimize and neutralize risks, the enterprise must constantly ensure its safety. In modern conditions, due to the pandemic and economic downturn, enterprises are forced to revise their methods of safety management and risk neutralization. This monograph, dedicated to modern problems of business security management, is the result of the joint work of teachers and students of the Department of Economic Security, Accounting and Law of the Don State Technical University.
