Indonesia is a country that is geologically located at the confluence of three tectonic plates of the world, has more than 128 active volcanoes, and around 150 rivers. This results in Indonesia being prone to experiencing disasters. The village Kiluan Negeri in Tanggamus (Lampung) is among the areas known for its high disaster risk in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the impact of campaign and education on disaster preparedness on students’ knowledge in dealing with the tsunami disaster in Kiluan Negeri. This research employs a quasi-experimental method, with one group pre-test and post-test design. The research involved subjects from the group of 35 students from junior high school in Kiluan Negeri, SATAP VII-IX SMP. The respondents were recruted through quota sampling, in which all junior high school students present were selected as research subjects. For this research, disaster preparedness training/socialization was carried out three times. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed in this study was confirmed, as it is found that there is a significant impact of the training/socialization of disaster preparedness to the knowledge and awareness among students of Kiluan Negeri (0,000 <0.005). This can be seen from the data that the average of awareness/ knowledge before the socialization was only 37.5 and increased to the level of 42.1 after the process. In addition, based on subject categorization, prior to being given disaster preparedness socialization, students who had a high level of knowledge were only 77.2%, then after being given a disaster preparedness socialization, it increased to 92%. It can be concluded, therefore, that students who have high knowledge after the disaster preparedness socialization is 92%.[Indonesia adalah negara yang secara geologis terletak pada pertemuan tiga lempeng tektonik dunia, memiliki lebih dari 128 gunung berapi aktif, dan sekitar 150 sungai. Hal ini membuat Indonesia rawan mengalami bencana. Desa Kiluan Negeri di Tanggamus (Lampung) adalah salah satu daerah yang dikenal memiliki risiko bencana tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pelatihan dan pendidikan pada pengetahuan siswa mengenai kesiapsiagaan bencana untuk menangani bencana tsunami di Kiluan Negeri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain satu kelompok pre-test dan post-test. Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 kelompok  siswa dari SMP di Kiluan Negeri, SATAP VII-IX SMP. Hasil dari responden diolah melalui kuota sampling, di mana semua siswa SMP yang hadir dipilih sebagai subjek penelitian. Untuk penelitian ini, pelatihan/sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan bencana dilakukan tiga kali. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dikonfirmasi, karena ditemukan bahwa ada dampak yang signifikan dari pelatihan/sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan bencana terhadap pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa Kiluan Negeri (0,000 <0,005). Ini dapat dilihat dari data bahwa rata-rata kesadaran/pengetahuan sebelum sosialisasi hanya 37,5 dan meningkat ke level 42,1 setelah proses. Selain itu, berdasarkan kategorisasi subjek, sebelum diberikan sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan bencana, tingkat pengetahuan siswa memiliki prosentase hanya 77,2%, kemudian setelah diberikan sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan bencana, meningkat menjadi 92%. Dapat disimpulkan, bahwa siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan tinggi setelah sosialisasi kesiapan bencana adalah 92%.]

The purpose of this study was to analyze and explore the effectiveness of constructivism approaches in improving mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in the city of Paser. The experimental quasi method was used in this study to test the hypothesis of the study. The sample of the study at three junior high schools in Paser City, representing high, medium and low school students.. The instruments used in this study were pre-post test, pre-post questionnaires, and observation. The data were analyzed using independent sample t-tests, paired sample tests, annova tests, and descriptive analysis. The findings of pre-post test and pre-post questionnaire analysis using t-test showed that there were significant differences in group mathematical communication skills using constructivism approach compared to groups using conventional approaches at all achievement levels of high school students (high, simple and low). Based on the observation, it is found that high achievement school students have good mathematical communication skills in mathematical communication, these are identified in many aspects and observation indicators achieved by students during learning.

Online learning is a basic need of education in the 21st century. The benefits of online learning are felt in the continuity of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine the impact of online learning on the learning motivation of Junior High School students. The results of the research discussion indicate that online learning has advantages, namely 1) as a medium to encourage independent learning; 2) as an effort to modernize the concept of education in the 21st century; 3) increasing the intensity of the interaction between teachers and students; 3) allows for an interaction that is not limited to space and time, and 4) meaningful learning. The impact of online learning on student learning motivation tends to be negative due to the unpreparedness of various parties, including teachers, parents, students, and schools. Early adolescents who need direct guidance, direction, and motivation must lose control due to reduced direct interaction with the teacher. The monotonous implementation of online learning, lack of direction and supervision, pressure for students to study from home, and low teacher innovation are the main causes of decreased learning motivation due to online learning.

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis adalah salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa agar mampu secara matematis memecahkan masalah sering dijumpai di kehidupan nyata. Indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis meliputi mampu memahami masalah, merencanakan strategi pemecahan masalah, melakukan strategi atau prosedur pemecahan masalah, dan memeriksa kebenaran jawaban atau hasil yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP ditinjau dari Kemampuan Awal Matematik (KAM). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deksriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII F SMP Angkasa Lanud Sulaiman yang berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa tes soal uraian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sebanyak 5 soal. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan mengelompokkan siswa berdasarkan hasil Penilaian Tengah Semester (PTS) sebagai kemampuan awal siswa. Siswa dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu kelompok KAM atas, kelompok KAM menengah dan kelompok KAM bawah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kesulitan mengerjakan soal nomor 5 dan baik siswa kelompok KAM atas, KAM menengah maupun KAM bawah, siswa kurang menguasai indikator ke-4 yaitu memeriksa kebenaran jawaban. Kata kunci: kemampuan awal matematika, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.   ABSTRACT Mathematical problem solving ability is one of the abilities that must be mastered by students in order to be able to mathematically solve problems often found in real life. Indicators of mathematical problem solving capabilities include being able to understand problems, plan problem solving strategies, perform strategies or procedures for problem solving, and check the truth of answers or results obtained. This study aims to determine the mathematical problem solving abilities of junior high school students in terms of Early Mathematical Ability (KAM). The method used in this study is descriptive. The research subjects were class VIII F Space Junior High School Sulaiman Air Base which numbered 30 people. The instrument used in the study was a test of the questions about the mathematical problem solving abilities of 5 questions. Analysis of the data used in this study is to classify students based on the results of the Middle Semester Assessment (PTS) as students' initial abilities. Students are divided into three groups, namely the upper KAM group, the middle KAM group and the lower KAM group. The results showed that students had difficulty working on the number 5 questions and both the upper KAM group students, the middle KAM and the lower KAM students, students did not master the 4th indicator, namely checking the correctness of the answers. This research aimed to find out the student ability in speaking at students at Junior High School 2 Panca Rijang and this study is the result of a report from a case study on the effect of metacognitive teaching on speaking ability of low-ranking junior high school students, the metacognitive strategy influences students' speaking achievement, namely by conducting a pre-test in one group and the design of the post-test was conducted to support the findings in the results of learning speaking after training. In design, observation and qualitative questionnaires were conducted to see the process of students in learning speaking procedural knowledge of metacognition in speaking. This research applying metacognitive strategies that are developed as a way of learning. Subject, selected by simple random sampling, are 20 first grade junior high schools, Comparison of pre-test and post-test scores will show metacognitive strategy can help students who are less skilled improve their speaking skills. The results show the view that metacognitive strategy can help students with speaking skills who are less skilled improve their speaking skills, but from the overall results there still appear to be some limitations for those who are skilled with minimal results.

Road traffic safety education through campaigns and counseling has often been carried out by Politeknik Keselamatan Transportasi Jalan (PKTJ) Tegal as an educational institution that focuses on safety. The campaigns were given to students who are in kindergarten to high schools/ vocational high schools and also the general public by Computer Based Application (CBA). The most difficult campaign was done for Junior high school students. This study aims to make CBA as a medium of campaign in improving understanding of traffic safety. The method used is an experiment with One Group Pre test-Post test. Data collection technique was Purposive Sampling. The research samples were 82 students who come from three different junior high schools. Data collection used test methods (Pre-test and Post-test). The results show that there was an increasing result from i.e; from the low category to high, so that it can be concluded that CBA improves understanding of traffic safety in students of class VIII SMP N 1, N 4 and N 5 Ciamis.

This study aims to describe and compare the effectiveness of the application of STAD and TPS types in cooperative learning to the students. This study was a quasi-experiments research in which students were designed into a form of the experimental group (pre-test and post-test group designs), where the cooperative learning of STAD and TPS types will be applied in learning mathematics. The population in this study were junior high school students in Ternate, while samples were taken by 60 random students who had the same characteristics as the population. The result of the study shows that cooperative learning model of both STAD and TPS types are very effective to be applied on studying mathematics. However, between the STAD and TPS types of cooperative learning, the STAD types are more effective than TPS, seen from accomplishing standards of competence, mathematical communication skills, and mathematical thinking ability of Junior High School students.

The aims of this development research were to produce a learning model for basic technique of squat-style long-jump based on biomechanics with the game for junior high school students and to know the effectiveness, efficiency and attractiveness against learning model. This research used Deff model adopted from Research & Development by Borg and Gall. The subject used was junior high school students which consists of 45 students. The instruments used were need analysis, expert’s evaluation, small and large group test. Effectiveness test was to know junior high school students’ jump skill level before being given biomechanic treatment. The Pre-test obtained from the students’ jump result was about 540, and Post-test was about 812. The conducted t-test between the experiment group and the control group obtained was t = 10.152 and in the n-gain score test between the experiment group (biomechanic treatment) obtained by 76% (effective) and the control group obtained by 43.40% (less effective). Therefore, this game model is effective in increasing students’ jump learning. According to the result, it could be inferred that: (1) this model can be developed and applied in physical education, (2) the model proved that there are significant difference in pre-test and post-test between the experiment group (biomechanic treatment) and the control group after the treatment model, based on N-gain test.
