The objectives of this research are: (1) To simplify business processes so that supply chain management starts from raw materials to finished materials and distributes these products to end consumers effectively and efficiently; (2) Build a web-based supply chain management application system to make it easier for companies in their business processes. This research method uses qualitative methods. The final results of this study: (a) Application of supply chain management information system designed for PT. ABCD can reduce supply chain uncertainty in companies. Because the implementation of the system can help the company in controlling the procurement of raw materials that must always be available in accordance with the company's needs; (b) The supply chain management information system application that is designed can describe the correlation between suppliers and companies, companies and users who can facilitate ordering goods from suppliers to companies and vice versa, so that the delivery of ordered goods is in accordance with the order and arrives at the company on time and in the right amount; (c). Provide opportunities for suppliers to participate in the implementation of the system to provide online price quotes.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Mempermudah dalam proses bisnis sehingga dalam pengelolaan rantai pasok mulai dari bahan mentah sampai bahan jadi dan mendistribusikan produk tersebut kepada konsumen akhir dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien; (2) Membangun suatu sistem aplikasi manajemen rantai pasok yang berbasis website sehingga lebih memudahkan perusahaan dalam proses bisnisnya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil akhir penelitian ini antara lain (a) Penerapan sistem informasi manajemen rantai pasok yang dirancang untuk PT. ABCD bisa mengurangi ketidakpastian rantai pasok pada perusahaan. Sebab, penerapan sistem tersebut bisa membantu perusahaan dalam pengadaan dan mengendalikan bahan baku yang mesti selalu tersedia sesuai dengan keinginan perusahaan; (b) Aplikasi sistem informasi manajemen rantai pasok yang dirancang tersebut dapat menggambarkan korelasi pemasok dengan perusahaan, perusahaan dengan pemakai yang bisa mempermudah pemesanan barang dari pemasok ke perusahaan maupun sebaliknya sehingga pengiriman barang yang dipesan sesuai dengan pesanan dan sampai ke perusahaan tepat waktu dan tepat jumlah; (c) Memberi peluang kepada pemasok agar ikut serta ke dalam penerapan sistem tersebut untuk memberikan penawaran harga secara online

The Supply Chain Management Information System combines several business processes across organizations from the initial organization to the end user. In the procurement of raw materials, the procurement of Covid-19 takes time and causes inventory. With the Supply Chain Management Information System, it is expected to simplify the procurement process and minimize shortages of goods so as to speed up patient handling. This study resulted in the design of an SCM information system that uses the waterfall model software development method which is useful for helping the health industry get the flow of information, goods, and money because the related parties have been integrated with the designed system.

With the advent of globalization and fast changing environment, companies are using information and communication systems in the supply chain. Supply chain management information system (SCMIS) has gained a lot of importance because of its ability to reduce costs and increase responsiveness in the supply chain. Review of literature has revealed that the success in implementation of SCMIS and successfully attaining the return expected from the system implemented is a challenge. With such high failure rates scenario, it becomes imperative to identify the risk and the failure factors that may arise during implementation and the ways to tackle these risks. In this chapter, an attempt has been made to establish the challenges, their severity, and improvisation for the successful implementation of SCMIS in the Indian automobile industry. The findings can help the practitioners and managers better understand the challenges, focus the resources, their attention, set up the priorities, and thus improve the chances of successful implementation of SCMIS.

The Sumber Jokotole SMEs produces fish crackers with basic ingredients from fish which are fishery products from Madura. During this time, the data on the sale of products and the purchase of raw materials have not been archived, so there is some data that is lost or damaged. When the data is needed to check the number of sales, the number of purchases, looking for stock of sales and purchases, and profits, the manager of the SMEs has difficulty tracking the data. Hence the management of a good and accurate sales and financial administration system is one of the strategies that can be applied by the SMEs in dealing with competition in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). This research aims to aid SMEs Sumber Jokotole in managing the administration system and business processes by designing a web-based management information system (SIM) that can be accessed through computers and smartphones. Supply Chain Management Information System (SCMIS) has gained a lot of importance because of its ability to reduce costs and increase responsiveness in the supply chain. The implementation of SCMIS is a complicated process with significant risk. The studies have revealed that the success in implementing these systems is not very encouraging. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the impediments in SCMIS implementation and their severity. Studies on the failure factors of the ERP system have already been done by various researchers. The research on SCMIS, an inter-organizational system, is in its early stages and is still to receive that much attention as its predecessor whereas barriers for its implementation are more severe. Thus, there exists a gap in research in this important area. In this paper an attempt has been made to establish impediments, their severity and improvisation for the successful implementation of SCMIS in the Indian automobile industry.
