Single equation models ignore interdependencies or two-way relationships between response variables. The simultaneous equation model accommodates this two-way relationship form. Two Stage Least Square Generalized Methods of Moment Arellano and Bond (2 SLS GMM-AB) is used to estimate the parameters in the simultaneous system model of dynamic panel data if each structural equation is exactly identified or over identified. In the simultaneous equation system model with dynamic panel data, each structural equation and reduced form is a dynamic panel data regression equation. Estimation of structural equations and reduced form using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) resulted biased and inconsistent estimators. Arellano and Bond GMM method (GMM AB) estimator produces unbiased, consistent, and efficient estimators. The purpose of this paper is to explain the steps of 2 SLS GMM-AB method to estimate parameter in simultaneous equation model with dynamic panel data.  Keywords:2 SLS GMM-AB, Arellano and Bond estimator, Dynamic Panel Data, Simultaneous Equations

A single equation model that is often used ignores the interdependence between response variables. Frequently encountered variables that have a two-way relationship. These interrelated two-way relationships can be summarized in a simultaneous equation model system. There is a relationship between variables which are in fact dynamic. In the system model of simultaneous equations with dynamic panel data, each structural equation is a dynamic panel data regression equation. The estimation of using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) in the dynamic panel data model results in biased and inconsistent predictors because there is a lag of the dependent variable that correlates with the error. First difference in dynamic panel models is used to eliminate individual effects. Instrument variables are needed, namely variables that do not correlate with errors. Therefore, dynamic panel data models are more suitable to be used in analyzing poverty and social change. From the simultaneous equation model obtained, the dominant factors affecting the level of poverty in Central Java Province are the unemployment rate, Human Development Index, labor force participation rate, population, and Gross Regional Domestic Product.

A general approach for the estimation of cointegration vectors with linear restrictions is described. In the special case of zero restrictions, the cointegration relations of the paper are formally similar to the structural form of a traditional simultaneous equation model. The proposed estimation procedures require a conventional rank condition of identification but no exogeneity assumption. In place of exogenous variables there are series that are not cointegrated and can therefore describe the common trends in the system. The estimators of the paper are flexible and simple to use. They can be combined with several recent estimators developed for cointegration regressions which in the present context are formally similar to the reduced form of a simultaneous equation model. After the coefficient matrix of a cointegration regression has been estimated, the estimators of the paper can be obtained by simple generalized least squares. Both single equation estimators and more efficient system estimators are developed. The asymptotic distributions of the estimators are shown to be mixed normal so that Wald tests with asymptotic chi-square distributions under the null hypothesis can be obtained in the usual way. Convenient test procedures for checking the validity of overidentification restrictions are also provided.

The objective of this study is to examine the determinants of labor absorption in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector and its impact on Gross Regional Domestic Product/GRDP at Bali Province. This study is important due to the fact that the GRDP in this sector is the highest compared to other sector but the labor absorption is lower than the agriculture sector. This study used panel data comprising 9 regencies/cities at Bali Province in the period 2003-2009 including fixed effect model and simultaneous equation model of Two-Stage Least Square. The results showed that GRDP, working age population, and the minimum wage have positive effect on employment, while the educated unemployment has no significant effect on the employment in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector. In addition, increases in employment and workers productivity have positive and significant effects the GRDP in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector at Bali Province.

Product-harm crisis which can also be defined as: well publicized events wherein products are found to be defective or even dangerous. Product-harm crisis often occurs in manufacturing system and has negative impacts on companies. This paper implemented empirical research and structural equation model to study how repair strategies protect purchase intention of brand and restore satisfaction of manufacturing system. Based on the empirical result, we suggest that managers should consider consumers’ perceived fairness to the repair strategies and focus on how win consumers’ forgiveness, so as to maintain customer satisfaction of manufacturing system.

This study aims to explain the determinants of economic growth and poverty in West Sumatra. This study using Simultaneous Equation Model to determine the effect of exogenous variables on endogenous variable, the analysis uses Indirect Least Square (ILS) method. This study uses a data panel (cross section and time series) sourced from the Central Statistics Agency of West Sumatra. The analysis results show that labor, investment, and unemployment has a significant effect on economic growth, otherthat investment, unemployment, and education has a significant effect on poverty, and poverty has a significant effect on economic growth.
