Various surveys have been conducted over the past few years indicating financial access in Indonesia is still not good. Digital Financial Inclusion (DFI) which is a digital access to use of formal financial services by underserved populations to solve those problems. The success of the DFI services were not only determined by the service provider, but also by the acceptance of the users. The TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) model offers a powerful and simple explanation of the factors that affect user acceptance of a technology. The main purpose of this study was to understanding consumer acceptance of  using DFI which was investigated and measured by several factors through the TAM model ie; perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived credibility, intention to use, and actual use. The population of this research was conducted in Bogor City because the level of financial inclusion in Bogor City was low but the digital development was quite good. And total sample was 134 respondent. The PLS SEM analysis showed that perceived usefulness has no significant effect (p> 0.05) to intention to use DFI services but perceived ease of use and credibility has significant (p <0.05) and positive effect to consumer interest in using DFI services. Perceived credibility is the most influencing consumer interest in using DFI service because it has the highest coefficient value. The results of this study were expected to improve the development and acceptance of DFI services.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the use of social media (SM) and its influence for increasing students’ participation in the quota reform movement at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Design/methodology/approach The revised technology acceptance model (TAM) was used to formulate this research’s hypotheses. A survey was administered to obtain data about students’ intention to use SM. The survey consisted of a set of questions based upon the revised TAM model. A total of 498 surveys were distributed and 304 students responded to it; hence, response rate was of 61.04%. A regression and single way ANOVA were conducted to test the hypotheses. Findings The results indicate that most of the students use SM for academic purposes and to get connected with friends. Among the social networking tools, Facebook is the most widely used by the respondents. Findings supported that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of SM affect student’s intention to increase participation in the quota reform movement. There were no significant relationships between gender and politics with the use of SM. Research limitations/implications A sample of students from Dhaka University was taken and the sample size was small. As a result, the findings of this study cannot be generalized in other settings. SM has a positive effect in the societies where change happens through collective actions. Originality/value Why and how students use SM has been widely discussed over the available literature, but students’ intention to use for it for social movements has not been studied. This study has made an effort to empirically examine the use of SM in the context of the quota reform movement in Bangladesh.

The importance of using Google Translate (GT) has become dominantly more effective. Most researchers, professors, and students rely on its translation as an immediate source of getting the information in different countries all over the world. However, the academic literature fails to acknowledge what factors could contribute to the user's intention to use GT, and consequently fail to discover the effects of using GT. The purpose of this study is to explore GT acceptance in UAE. It is assumed that users' attitude towards GT may vary based on the language used. The variations in languages are unidirectional from the source language (SL) to the target language (TL) and vice versa. The suggested analytical framework is based on an extended TAM model that is proposed by [1]. A quantitative methodology approach was adopted in this study. The hypothesized model is validated empirically using the responses received from a survey of 368 respondents were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS). Results indicated that Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Motivation have a significant impact on Behavioral Intention to use GT. In addition, Perceived Usefulness and Motivation significantly influenced Perceived Ease of Use. Furthermore, Perceived Usefulness is in turn influenced by Experience. The findings provide significant theoretical and practical implications for translation researchers, teachers, and MT system developers.

The educated youth in India have adapted well to technology and technology-based solutions. Much of it has been attributed to the increased usage of computers, Internet and the smartphones among the educated youth in India. It becomes a useful and important exercise, therefore, to study their attitude towards new technology-based products and services in view of the fact that this segment has a requirement for utilizing banking services for at least the next 30 years. Banking has been one industry which has been in the forefront in offering technology-based delivery channels like ATM, Internet banking and mobile banking. This article studies the underlying factors influencing management students in their intention to use mobile banking. The study utilizes two constructs of the technology adoption model and then extends it further to include two additional constructs. The results suggest that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, social influence and trust propensity are the underlying factors in respect of the behavioural intention to use mobile banking services.

The need for mobile phones has become inevitable in current world scenario. Mobile phones not only add to the convenience and security but also signify the status symbol. Mobile phones are considered as an opportunity for most of the organization to deliver their services. Banking industry is also facilitating various services via mobile phones. Mobile phones are playing an important role in financial inclusion since large numbers are still unbanked or financially excluded. Mobile banking is center of attraction to the youths. This study attempts to study the perception of the youths towards mobile driven financial inclusion in Gwalior city and to access the factors influencing the use of mobile in financial services in Gwalior City. The study covers the respondents of age group 18-40 years. The study framed the TAM model using the four factor i) Perceived Ease of Use, ii) Perceived Usage, iii) Perceived Usefulness and iv) Actual Usage. The study derived the TAM model sequencing influence perceived ease of use to perceived usage, perceived usage to perceived usefulness and perceived usefulness to actual usage. Although study contains certain limitation still has some implications providing recommendation for the improvement and modification of the mobile banking services and make them more friendly and secure.

As embodied in Malaysia's Vision 2020, Malaysia aims to become a cashless country. Therefore, the existing statistical data indicated that the e-wallet adoption rate remains at a low percentage. It has been a barrier for Malaysia in achieving the aims to become a cashless country. The use of e-wallet was also expected to rise amidst the Covid-19 pandemic; to optimize an intervention for the Covid-19 outbreak. Thus, the current study investigates the factors that correlate with the intention to use e-wallet during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is designed using a quantitative approach through cross-sectional data. A total of 160 Malaysian youths participated and collected by using an online survey. Further, the Task-Technology Fit (TTF) model and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) were integrated into this study with an extended variable, namely, perceived credibility. The analysis results showed that Individual-Technology Fit, Task-Technology Fit, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Credibility were significantly correlated to Covid19 intra-period e-wallet adoption. In conclusion, a considerable theoretical contribution was demonstrated by integrating TTF-TAM and Perceived Credibility in a single integrated model. The constructs in the TTF model (i.e., Individual-technology fit and task-technology fit) has positively related to the constructs in the TAM model (i.e., perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use). This study is useful to stakeholders and provides enhanced directions to meet market needs by understanding and predicting e-wallet user's post-pandemic behavior, thereby helping service providers attract new users and retain their existing users.

E-books and e-Reading Devices (E-RDs) markets have been enlarged due to the rapid progress of digital technologies. What are the possible factors to increase readers' willingness to use electronic devices? To improve the predictive value of the original TAM model, this study incorporates three additional constructs to form e-Reading Device Acceptance Mode: reading self-efficacy, computer self-efficacy and perceived enjoyment. This model consists of six constructs and 11 research hypotheses. The research questionnaires were distributed in Taiwan, and the research results showed that reading self-efficacy shows positive influences on readers' intention to use the E-RDs. On the contrary, computer self-efficacy does not show positive influences on perceived usefulness or perceived enjoyment. Moreover, the perceived ease of use of E-RDs does not show significant impacts on readers' intention to use the devices. Explanations of the causes and reasons are given in this paper, and the finding of this research may provide useful references and materials for e-book publishers, e-reading device developers, and researchers for further studies.

Traditional in-app virtual reality (VR)/augmented reality (AR) applications pose a challenge of reaching users due to their dependency on operating systems (Android, iOS). Besides, it is difficult for general users to create their own VR/AR applications and foster their creative ideas without advanced programming skills. This paper addresses these issues by proposing an interactive extended reality toolkit, named BlocklyXR. The objective of this research is to provide general users with a visual programming environment to build an extended reality application for digital storytelling. The contextual design was generated from real-world map data retrieved from Mapbox GL. ThreeJS was used for setting up, rendering 3D environments, and controlling animations. A block-based programming approach was adapted to let users design their own story. The capability of BlocklyXR was illustrated with a use case where users were able to replicate the existing PalmitoAR utilizing the block-based authoring toolkit with fewer efforts in programming. The technology acceptance model was used to evaluate the adoption and use of the interactive extended reality toolkit. The findings showed that visual design and task technology fit had significantly positive effects on user motivation factors (perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness). In turn, perceived usefulness had statistically significant and positive effects on intention to use, while there was no significant impact of perceived ease of use on intention to use. Study implications and future research directions are discussed.
