Abstract In this work the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) and the pulsed electron beam deposition (PED) techniques were used for fabrication of Mo-Bi2O3, La1−xSrxCoO3, La1−xCaxCoO3 and Al-Mg thin films. An influence of ablation process basic parameters on the coatings structure and properties was discussed. Two types of laser ablation systems were applied: one equipped with a KrF excimer and second with a Q-switched Nd:YAG. Films were deposited on Si and MgO substrates. Scanning (SEM) and transmission (TEM) electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM) as well as X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used for structural analysis. Investigations focused on structure and chemical composition showed that smooth and dense thin films with nanocrystalline structure, preserving the composition of the bulk target, could be obtained by the both PLD and PED techniques. Research study showed that by a proper selection of PLD and PED process parameters it was possible to deposit films with significantly decreased amount and size of undesirably nanoparticulates.

: Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), which is the causative agent of tuberculosis (TB), is among the most important infectious bacteria with high morbidity and mortality rates worldwide. Bacilli Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccine has been discovered for about a century, and it is considered as a major vaccine for humans. However, some factors, such as its attenuated nature and its inefficacy against the latent form of the disease, have led to the use of alternative vaccines. Multi-epitope subunit vaccines are new-generation vaccines that are being developed in clinical trial phases. For the production of a subunit vaccine, the selection of immunodominant antigens and targeted delivery systems to antigen presenting cells (APCs) are considered as basic parameters. In the present study, we designed the novel multi-epitope ESAT-6:Ag85B:Fcγ2a, which was evaluated completely by various online tools as an optimum vaccine against TB. The early secreted antigenic target of 6 kDa (ESAT-6) and antigen 85B (Ag85B) are two immunodominant antigens, and Fcγ2a is a targeted delivery system. This vaccine candidate can be used for future preclinical studies.

A complex of formulas is presented, the consistent application of which allows, based on the given characteristics of the sinusoidal law of variation of the internal pressure in the test pipe, to calculate and select the main parameters of the hydraulic system of the test bench. An example is given of using a simple method for checking the correctness of the choice made.

The article presents the results of empirical research focused on the study of the level of communicative and personal development of preschool children. The subject of organized research activity is a communicative sphere of the person at baseline levels of ontogeny, the means and ways of its effective development. The result of the pilot study was the selection of basic parameters of the communicative development of preschool children, a diagnostic cutoff, which showed the need to develop the system of measures for optimizing the development of communicative sphere of children. The program of activities is given.

In this paper authors present the results of their studies on the selection of fuel dose in three-part injection system Common Rail of marine medium-speed combustion engine. The study was conducted on a special test stand, which allows the use of different pressure in the hydraulic tank and various times of injection with doses divided into three parts. Also there has been performed the measurement of single fuel dose mass. The plan of research also included the three values of the two input values (pressure in the hydraulic tank and the total time of injection) and one output - the total mass of the fuel dose. Based on the statistical analysis of measurement results there have been determined the forms of functions approximating the tested relations and have been presented the analysis of the accuracy and their measurements match. Presented polynomials of accuracy (function of researched object) allow a reasonable selection of the basic parameters of dosing for the three-part fuel injection.
