“In the mirror of the Wonder of Luca Giordano” was a multi-sensorial experience created in the gallery frescoed by Luca Giordano in Palazzo Medici Riccardi, in Florence; the project involved different disciplines and researchers. The entire experience was subjected to an impact analysis, combining principally psycho-physiological, qualitative psychological and neuro-physiological aspects. In most of the visitors who participated in the study the experience evoked a sense of pleasure, enjoyment, relaxation, lightness, space-time suspension, involvement and immersiveness. In many of the visitors, the devices detected changes in heartbeat with a stastically significant decrease in blood pressure and heart rate, demontrating that the impact of artwork in a multi-sensorial experience and in an augmented perception environment is a psycho-somatic impact. Our experience suggests that projects such as "In the mirror of the Wonder of Luca Giordano" could be a very useful tool for cultivating emotional intelligence and could be developed in museums alongside the more classical paths of fruition.

The peculiarities of correction of psycho-emotional stress among primary schoolchildren with special educational needs with the use of biofeedback on the basis of statistic analysis of the heart rate are presented. The methodology developed by the authors is realized in the hardware-software complex «Boston». Results of the conducted research have shown that the use of BOS-training leads to definite reduction of psycho-emotional stress as well as to improvement of activity indicators among children with special educational needs.

The article is devoted to the development by readers of primary school age of the emotional sphere of a work of art, through which one of the key modern competencies is formed - emotional intelligence. The author describes the possibilities of developing emotional intelligence in junior schoolchildren in the course of studying the subject "Literary reading", which is carried out on the basis of their acquaintance with the psychology of children's fiction. Psychologism is considered as an element of the artistic form of a work, with the help of which its meaning and ideological and emotional content are expressed. The methods of using psychologism in the literary and artistic text are characterized and, taking this into account, the methodological approaches to the development of full-fledged textual activity of primary schoolchildren are considered.

The present study aimed to investigate the association between trait emotional intelligence and heart rate variability (HRV) recovery responses of archers immediately after a shooting session. The sample included 87 novice archers ranging in age from 18 to 26. Participants first completed Schutte Emotional Intelligence Inventory. Then, they shot 10 arrows from 18 m to an 80-cm diameter target in four minutes. Afterward, participants’ HRV recovery responses were measured during a four-minute recovery period. In this study, HRV was represented in terms of low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF), and LF/HF ratio. Results indicated a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and HRV recovery responses. A regression model containing emotional intelligence sub-dimensions was able to explain a significant amount of variance in HRV frequency domain parameters. Besides, high emotional intelligence archers were found to have higher-level LF and HF power but a lower LF/HF ratio than their low emotional intelligence counterparts. Taken together, the results observed in the present study indicated that emotional intelligence might give rise to more adaptive HRV recovery responses following a demanding arrow shooting session.
