The growth of sharia fintech is not proportional to the majority of the Muslim population. There are only a few studies that discuss the behavioral intentions of consumers who use sharia fintech. This study aims to identify the factors influencing Muslim's behavioral intentions in using sharia fintech. This study conducted 400 respondents in four types of sharia fintech (digital payment, lending, crowdfunding, and risk and management). This study uses a structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach. Variable Planned behavior (PB), Acceptance Model (AM), Use of Technology (UT), Digital Literacy (DL), and Sharia Financial Literacy (SFL) have significant positive effects on Behavior Intention (BI). This study provides recommendations to improve the distribution of internet access infrastructure and the right curriculum in increasing digital literacy, Islamic finance literacy, and also more accessible fintech services.JEL Classification: D83, D91, G2, Z1How to Cite:Setiawan, D., Darwanto., & Gunanto, E. The existence of mobile banking services is currently experiencing rapid growth. Adopting such a large number of users makes mobile banking services one of the main needs to meet the needs of conducting financial transactions. Therefore, there is a need for additional information for mobile banking service developers on the dominant factors influencing user behavioral intentions. This research is present as a forum to provide an overview of the user's perspective on Mestika bank's mobile banking service. This research aims to find out what factors play an important role in behavioral intention to use Mestika bank's mobile banking services based on the UTAUT2 concept. The research instrument used a questionnaire distributed online to 240 respondents in Medan City and Pematangsiantar City, Indonesia. Next, the researcher tested the hypothesis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on a variant called Partial Least Square (PLS) and the SmartPLS version 3.0 application as a tool to analyze it. This research concludes that effort expectancy has the most significant influence and plays a very important role in shaping the behavioral intention of using Mestika bank's mobile banking. Then performance expectancy and social influence hedonic motivation also significantly influence behavioral intentions to use Mestika bank's mobile banking. Furthermore, the results of this study also conclude that facilitating conditions and habit have no significant effect on behavioral intentions to use Mestika bank's mobile banking.

The many interests of Indonesians for imported cosmetics have invited many foreign companies to enter the Indonesian market, including one of the leading cosmetic brands from South Korea, Etude House. The purpose of this research is to analyse and test the positive effects of country of origin, perceived quality, and brand image on the purchase intention of Etude House cosmetics. Based on the purpose of the research, the proposed hypotheses are: (1) The country of origin of a product affects positively on the purchase intention of a consumer, (2) The perceived quality of a product affects positively on the purchase intention of a consumer, and (3) The brand image of a product affects positively on the purchase intention of a consumer. The sample consists of Etude House consumers in Indonesia who are students of the University of Pelita Harapan, with a total of 146 respondents. The sampling technique used in the research is Convenience sampling method. The statistical analysis is applied by the approach of Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, with the program SmartPLS. The end result of this research has shown that (1) The country of origin of a product does not affect positively on purchase intention, (2) The perceived quality of a product has a positive and the most significant effect on purchase intention, and (3) The brand image of a product also has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examining and analyzing the predictors of criminal recidivism among the ex-prisoners in metropolitan Kano-Nigeria using social ostracism as a predictor. However, the study utilizes two main dimensions of social ostracism; being ignored and being excluded in analyzing criminal recidivism. Design/methodology/approach – This study is quantitative in nature. Data were collected using survey method. Purposive sampling method was used and the population of the study were the ex-prisoners who are released after their prison terms. A total of 256 sample size was utilized and data were analyzed using Partial Lease Squares – Structural Equation Modeling. Findings – The findings revealed that, there is significant positive relationship between ignoring and exclusion of ex-prisoners in relation to criminal recidivism ( < 0.001***). The model used in the study shows that being ignored is having small effects, whereas being excluded is having medium effects (f2 0.121, 0.203), with predictive relevance (Q2 0.1884). Practical implications – Going by the study findings it was concluded that social ostracism of ex-prisoners in metropolitan Kano is having positive effects toward criminal recidivism. It is recommended that policy should be made to reduce the exclusion of ex-prisoners so as to reduce their chances of becoming criminal recidivists. Originality/value – Though many predictors were used in analyzing recidivism, this study used social ostracism which is not previously used as a sole predictor of criminal recidivism.
