Automated systems have been seamlessly integrated into several industries as part of their industrial automation processes. Employing automated systems, such as autonomous vehicles, allows industries to increase productivity, benefit from a wide range of technologies and capabilities, and improve workplace safety. So far, most of the existing systems consider utilizing one type of autonomous vehicle. In this work, we propose a collaboration of different types of unmanned vehicles in maritime offshore scenarios. Providing high capacity, extended coverage, and better quality of services, autonomous collaborative systems can enable emerging maritime use cases, such as remote monitoring and navigation assistance. Motivated by these potential benefits, we propose the deployment of an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) and an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in an autonomous collaborative communication system. Specifically, we design high-speed, directional communication links between a terrestrial control station and the two unmanned vehicles. Using measurement and simulation results, we evaluate the performance of the designed links in different communication scenarios and we show the benefits of employing multiple autonomous vehicles in the proposed communication system.

60GHz wireless communication is a promising technology for multi-gigabit communication in future home networks. It brings possibility of achieving in-door high-definition multimedia applications with high-speed and low-delay experience. However, to maintain the network connectivity with 60GHz links, which are susceptible to propagation and penetration losses, is a major challenge. The quality and robustness of 60GHz links can be effectively improved by employing relay nodes or cooperative nodes in the network. In this paper, taking into consideration the directional transmission character of 60GHz system, we conduct performance analysis and simulations for the 60GHz cooperative communication system. Two cooperative forwarding approaches are analyzed and compared, and the optimal position of the cooperative relay node is proposed.

With the evolution of advanced wireless communication technologies, tremendous efforts have been invested in vehicular networking, particularly the construction of a vehicle-to-vehicle communication system that supports high speed and mobility. In vehicle-to-vehicle communication environment, vehicles constantly exchange information using wireless technology. This paper aims to propose a vehicle-to-vehicle communication system and validate the feasibility of the system on a suburban road in China. Two vehicles were used equipped with IEEE 802.11p based DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communications) device to construct a vehicle-to-vehicle communication platform. The system architecture consisting of hardware and software was described in details. Then, communication characteristics such as RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator), latency and PLR (packet loss rate) were analyzed. Additionally, GPS-related information (such as ground speed and location) was obtained through field test on a suburban road in Shanghai and Taicang City. The test results demonstrate satisfactory performance of the proposed system.

Many applications in Power communication system have a demand of adjustable transmission time delay of high-speed signal. In sequential logic circuit, the control of transmission time delay of high-speed signal can effectively improve the accuracy of clock sampling, as a result, satisfy the constraints between clock signal and periodic data. A method of equivalent sampling based on printed circuit board (PCB) is provided in the article, it realizes equivalent sampling of the data by fixing a group of clock signal delay, thus, increase the accuracy of sampling.
