In this article investigates the effect of the content of plasticizers on the properties of rubbers based on rubber BNKS-18 AMN. The traditional, widely used dioctyl phthalate (DOP), as well as the more modern, environmentally friendly dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP), were used as plasticizers. It has been established that the introduction of plasticizers contributes to the production of rubbers with an improved complex of operational properties, such as elasticity, frost resistance, resistance to the corrosive media SZhR-3. At the same time, according to the research results, it was revealed that the introduction of plasticizers in an amount of 20 phr leads to the most noticeable improvement in these properties. In terms of physicomechanical and low temperature properties, the samples containing DOTP significantly exceed those of the samples containing DOP. Thus, our data showed that the use of DOTP is promising as an alternative to the widely used DOP

In this paper, influence of new plasticizers on the mechanical and low-temperature properties of rubbers is studied. The subjects of the research are rubbers based on BNKS-18 butadiene-nitrile rubber and Hydrin T-6000 epichlorohydrin rubber (ECHR). As used plasticizers: DINP (diisononylphthalate), TOTM (trioctyltrimellitate), DOA (dioctyladipate), Alphaplast (complex plasticizer based on esters of organic alcohols and acids). For identification the efficiency, rubbers with the studied plasticizers compared with standard rubber, in which plasticizers have not introduced, as well as with rubber in which a widely used industrial plasticizer DOF (dioktilphthalate) was added. Research of the mechanical properties of rubbers based on BNKS-18 showed that the introduction of plasticizers leads to an increase in elasticity and a slight decrease in the strength of rubbers and on the contrary for rubbers based on ECHR. Low-temperature properties of rubbers with all studied plasticizers have an increased level in comparison with standard rubber. In rubber based on BNKS-18, the highest values of the coefficient of frost resistance at-45°C are observed with the introduction of plasticizers Alphaplast and DOA, an increase in the index compared to standard rubber is more than 50%. The same plasticizers have shown the greatest contribution to the increase in frost resistance of rubbers based on ECHR.

This article represents the results of a study of changes in the properties of vulcanizates based on BNR-18 butadiene-nitrile rubber containing as stabilizers the experimental spatially hindered phenols Stafen, CO3, CO4, and industrial antioxidant 6PPD, after accelerated aging (100°C 96 h) and aging under full-scale exposure in extreme climatic conditions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) during 2 years. In winter, the air temperature reached—48°C, in summer—+36.1°C. It is shown that the experimental sterically hindered phenols more effectively under natural exposure conditions. They are characterized by the most stability in terms of strength throughout the entire exposure period. Under conditions of accelerated aging, the vulcanizate containing the industrial antioxidant 6PPD is characterized by the greatest stability of physical and mechanical properties. According to the viscoelastic characteristics obtained in the dynamic loading mode, the contribution of the presented stabilizers in maintaining resistance to temperature and deformation effects compared with unstabilized rubber is confirmed.

The influence of additives of nanofillers (NF) containing nanoparticles of copper oxides stabilized by a polymer matrix of high-pressure polyethylene (PE) obtained by the mechanochemical method on the structure and properties features of metal-containing nanocomposites based on isotactic polypropylene (PP) and butadiene-nitrile rubber (BNK) is studied by X-ray phase (XRD) and differential thermal analyses(DTA). The improvement of strength, deformation and rheological parameters, as well as thermal-oxidative stability of the obtained nanocomposites was revealed, which, apparently, is associated with the synergistic effect of interfacial interaction of copper-containing nanoparticles in the PE matrix with the components of the PP/BNK polymer composition. It is shown that nanocomposites based on PP/BNK/NF can be processed both by pressing method and by injection molding and extrusion methods, which expands the scope of its application.

The purpose of this paper is to calculate kinematic parameters of a railway car moving with a tailwind for designing a classification hump. The calculation of kinematic parameters is based on the d'Alembert principle, and the physical speed and distance formula for uniformly accelerated or uniformly decelerated motions of a body. By determining a difference between two components - gravitational force of a car and the resistance force of all kinds (frictional resistance, air and wind resistance, resistance from switches and curves, snow and frost resistance), which take place at different sections of a hump profile, the authors calculated the car acceleration at various types of car resistance, as well as time and speed of its movement. Acceleration, time and speed were plotted as a function of the length of a hump profile section. The research results suggest that permissible impact velocities of cars can be achieved by changing profiles of projected hump sections or by using additional hump retarders.

The research on cold fusion phenomenon has been in the past 30 years. Based on the research results of the predecessors, this article comprehensively describes the research results of the predecessors on the cold fusion phenomenon, and discusses it theoretically and experimentally. From the perspective of thermodynamics, this paper proposes to charge the palladium wire with hydrogen at low temperature to increase the frequency of abnormal heat generation, and gives a calculation formula for the hydrogen charging rate of the palladium wire. At the same time, a theoretical solution model for the isotope effect on the abnormal heat release phenomenon is proposed.
