On the base of numerical simulation and theoretical analysis, the flow field of a conventional single-tangential-inlet Hydrocyclone and a newly put forward axial-symmetry double-tangential-inlet hydrocyclone were contrasted. The study shows that the inlet structure of the Hydrocylone has a great influence on the radial velocity of the flow field in the hydrocyclone and that the radial velocity in the hydrocyclone with single-tangential-inlet is not symmetry about the axis of the hydrocyclone; and on the other hand the radial velocity in the hydrocyclone with axial-symmetry double-tangential-inlet is symmetry about the axis of the hydrocyclone. The magnitude of the radial velocity of the flow in the hydrocyclone with single-tangential-inlet is greater than that in the hydrocyclone with axial-symmetry double-tangential-inlet hydrocyclone, which means the hydrocyclone with axial-symmetry double-tangential-inlet has greater capability than the rival one with single-tangential inlet. The symmetry about the axis of the hydrocyclone of the radial velocity means the radial velocities in the place where the radio is the same are constant, which means the hydrocyclone has a great separation efficiency. The conclusion is that changing the conventional hydrocyclone into the one with axial-symmetry double-tangential-inlet structure can offer greater separation capability and efficiency.

Nano-WS2(tungsten disulfide nanoparticles)lubricating oil additive, prepared by the nanometer WS2particulates and semi-synthetic engine base oil as raw materials, was added into Great Wall engine oil with different mass ratio. With a contrast study on these oil samples, the results show that it can improve the extreme pressure, antiwear and viscosity-temperature properties of the engine oil effectively by adding a certain amount of nano-WS2additive, and the optimal concentration is 2wt%. The oil film strength, sintering load and viscosity index of this lubricating oil is respectively 1.35 times, 1.58 times and 1.05 times as that of Great Wall engine oil. In addition, when tested under the grinding conditions of 392 N, 1450 r /min and 30 min, the diameter of worn spot reduces 0.018mm, and the average friction coefficients of friction pairs decrease 16.3%, both of which are lubricated by the oil containing nano-WS2additive. Meanwhile, the experiments testify that the tribological and viscosity-temperature properties of the nano-WS2additive are better than that of the Henkel MoS2additive.

Although diaphragmatic hernia (DH) may be congenital, posttraumatic, or iatrogenic, DHs after diaphragmatic surgery are rarely reported in the literature. This report describes the rare case of a 14-year-old girl complicated by iatrogenic DH following the biopsy of granulomatous lesions of the left diaphragm, when a mediastinal mixed germ cell tumor was extirpated. Plain computed tomography (CT) with swallowing of GastrografinTM was useful for the diagnosis of this disorder. The patient presented to our hospital with frequent epigastric pain and vomiting 11 months after the original surgery. Chest X-ray, a gastrointestinal contrast study, and plain CT with swallowing of GastrografinTM revealed the left DH with gastric content. At laparotomy, the diaphragmatic defect, 3 × 3 cm in diameter, was repaired using nonabsorbable sutures after hernia reduction. The patient showed a rapid recovery with complete resolution of symptoms. We should consider the presence of iatrogenic DH in patients who develop epigastralgia after procedures involving the diaphragm, even at 11 months after the original surgery. Furthermore, plain CT with swallowing of GastrografinTM is useful for the diagnosis of this disorder.

In all variants of the destructive form of pancreatitis, the involvement of adipose tissue of both para-pancreatic and distant localization was noted. In this case, it is necessary to improve the pathological diagnosis of acute destructive pancreatitis. The aim of the study was to develop new techniques for postmortem examination of those who died from complications of acute pancreatitis. Pathological studies were supplemented by the methods proposed by the authors, which made it possible to clarify the spread of the infectious agent through the retroperitoneal tissue. The scheme proposed by the authors for recording changes in the tissue of the pancreas and surrounding tissues after a contrast study made it possible to clarify the main ways of propagation of the purulent-necrotic process along the retroperitoneal tissue. The results of postmortem examination of 67 deaths from complications of acute pancreatitis are presented. Based on the study, 5 types of acute destructive pancreatitis were identified. In type I, the pathological process involves the right half of the retroperitoneal tissue, including the mesentery root of the small intestine, the para-pancreatic region, the right para-kidney and sub-hepatic space. The second type is characterized by the presence of inflammatory and destructive changes in the fiber of the right lateral canal, the actual retroperitoneal space on the right and the mesentery root of the transverse colon. Purulent-necrotic changes in para-pancreatic, left perineal tissue, mesentery of the transverse colon, also in peritoneum were typical for type III acute destructive pancreatitis. For type IV disease, in addition to areas of involvement as in type III, involvement of the pelvic tissue and the left sections of the retroperitoneal space itself were noted. The spread of the infectious agent to both the right and left parts of the retroperitoneal tissue was defined as type V acute destructive pancreatitis.
