The objective is to describe the clinical case of arachnoid cyst of occipital bone.Case report. Patient with arachnoid cyst of occipital bone was treated in the clinic of the A.I. Evdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry. The patient had severe pain in the occipital region for several years, conservative treatment was ineffective. Neuroimaging revealed an unusual intraosseous defect in the occipital bone. A partial resection of the occipital bone was performed and cranioplasty was made. During operation it was discovered that the patient had an intraosseous arachnoid cyst, the diagnosis was further confirmed by histological examination. After surgery, regression of pain in the occipital region was noted.Conclusion. The intraosseous arachnoid cyst of the skull is an extremely rare and can cause a severe local headache. Surgery is an effective treatment of this pathology.

Abstract Objectives Vipadika (Palmo plantar Psoriasis) is a Kshudra Kushta (minor skin disorder) of Vatakapha origin (body humors like vata and kapha) characterized by Sphutana (cracks) and Teevra Vedana (severe pain) in Pani (palm) and Pada (sole). Based on the symptoms it can be correlated to Palmo Plantar Psoriasis which is a variant of psoriasis which affects the skin of the palms and soles with the features of hyperkeratotic, pustular, or mixed morphologies. The treatment methods for Palmo plantor psoriasis causes severe side effects due to which an evident shift from modern treatments to ayurvedic treatment line. Case presentation A 15 year old, female, with complaint of cracks and dryness over sole of both feet with pain for the last 12 and half years. The case was managed with Padanimajjana (immersion of foot). Padanimajjana is a modified form of Avagaha Sweda (switz bath) where the affected part of the foot is dipped in medicated liquid. Here Mahisha Gritha (Buffaloe ghee) is used for Padanimajjana. Conclusions Mahisha Gritha Padanimajjana shows significant improvement in number of cracks, dryness and pain within short period of time. This is a very simple, economical, and effective treatment for Vipadika.

Prognosis in neonatal endocarditis depends on early diagnosis and the status of the patient at the time of diagnosis, and effective treatment with appropriate antibiotics. The current case report describes a case of successful conservative treatment of endocarditis in a 26 day old male neonate, previously inadequately treated for septicaemia in another hospital. Fractures of the mandibular condylar region are very common, but treatment is controversial; the same fracture can be treatment by either conservative treatment or surgery. When surgery is chosen, the search for the best surgical access also has many doubts. The options for open surgical accesses are: pre-auricular, submandibular, and retromandibular. For intraoral access (similarto sagittal osteotomy of the ramus), the aid of endoscopy, an image equipment, enables the perpendicular visualization of the fracture. Case report: In this clinical case, the authors describe a high mandibular ramus fracture in which the intraoral approach was used associated with endoscopy for the reduction and fixation ofthe fracture. Conclusion: Success of the radiographic and clinical outcome could be observed by the anatomical reduction of the fracutre and the solution of the patient’s requests.

The article attempts to analyze the change in philosophy in approaches to the treatment of COVID-19 that have occurred in recent months, based on published research and their own experience in the treatment of a new coronavirus infection at the medical research and education center of Moscow state University. Emphasis is placed on the rationale for the phased use of different types of therapy. The reasons for using spironolactone in patients with COVID-19 as a drug for etiotropic and pathogenetic therapy are discussed in detail. The authors conclude that the use of antiviral drugs in combination with drugs that prevent the entry of the SARS-CoV-2 virus into cells from the first days of the disease should be supplemented with pre-emptive anti-inflammatory therapy that interrupts the progression of the disease. The parallel use of anticoagulants that reduce the risk of thrombotic and thromboembolic complications.

Background: Chronic scrotal content pain (CSCP) is a syndrome that seriously affects the quality of life in men. But in most men, there is no obvious structural abnormality and there may not be any identifiable pain on palpation, even medications and surgeries are not 100% effective and maybe cause other problems. In addition to medications and surgical treatment, any other effective method needs to be a therapeutic option, too. Objective: To discuss a 36-year-old patient with chronic scrotal content pain for 3 years, with a view to introduce a potentially effective treatment for Chronic scrotal content pain. Conclusions: Many pain syndromes can be treated with removal of the original stimulus. For the patients we treat, moxibustion is effective for the treatment of Chronic scrotal content pain caused by the cooling on the portion. Therefore, an effective conservative treatment may be a worthwhile option to try.

Non-traumatic intradiploic arachnoid cyst is a rare condition. We describe a young man with typical trigeminal neuralgia and intradiploic arachnoid cyst at the greater wing of the sphenoid. The patient was successfully treated with medical therapy. To our knowledge, this is the first case report of a possible correlation between trigeminal neuralgia and intraosseous arachnoid cyst. We describe the clinical case, the possible pathogenetic mechanism and briefly review the literature.
