Based on the examinations perfomed in 80 patients with coxarthrosis complicated by contractures, it is concluded that the pain is one of the most important pathogenetic factors of the contracture formation. A combined method of the treatment of coxarthrosis is developed, including laser therapy, acupuncture and intertrochanteric osteotomy using Ilizarovs apparatus. As many as 186 patients are operated. Positive results are obtained in 92% of the cases.

One of the known methods of treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis is laser therapy, however, the task of improving the efficiency of this method is still relevant. The objective of this study was the evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment technique of patients with atopic dermatitis, including alternation in a day the intravenous laser light of blood by low-intensity laser radiation with a wave length of 365 nm and 525 nm (green spectrum). 37 patients with atopic dermatitis (10 women and 27 men) aged 18 to 56 years (the average age 36,2), having a disease duration of 17 to 54 years, were observed. In the complex of therapeutic measures of the main group the laser therapy was included. It is the original technique by means of laser therapeutic apparatus "Lasmik- VLOK" (Registration certificate № RZN 2014/1410 from 06.02.2014) with the laser emitting heads KLVLOK- 365-2 (for LUFOK®) and KL-VLOK-525-2 for intravenous laser light of blood. For this technique the disposable sterile lights KIVL -01 on TU 9444-005-72085060-2008 made in Research centre "Matrix" (Russia, Moscow) were used. It is shown that the combined intravenous laser light of blood with a wavelength of 365 nm (VLOK-365 or LUFOK®) and radiation with a wavelength of 525 nm (green spectrum, VLOK-525) in a day, 10 sessions in combined treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis – allows to achieve complete regression of all acute inflammatory symptoms of disease - erythema, papules, desquamation, excoriations in 87,5% of patients with moderate-severe disease (the average SCORAD index – 57,5±4,0) and to lower at 3,4 times the average SCORAD index (to 21,3±4,0) in patients with severe disease (initial value – 72,8±3,0) with an overall positive dynamics.

Branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) includes occlusion of major branch retinal vein, macular branch vein, and peripheral branch vein. BRVO is the second most common retinal vascular disease after diabetic retinopathy. Macular edema is the leading cause of visual loss related to BRVO. Although there are many treatment options, effective treatment applications are limited. Laser therapy is one of these applications; that is used both in the development of neovascularization and in the presence of macular edema. Grid laser therapy doesn’t take place as much as the former in the primary treatment of macular edema; that still continues efficiency in combined treatment and selected cases.

Aim: The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of magnetic-laser therapy in complex treatment of patients with zygomatic fractures accompanied by the infraorbital nerve damage. materials and methods: The study included 32 patients with single fractures of the zygomatic bone accompanied by infraorbital nerve injury. Patients were divided into two groups: the main group (n=17) and the control one (n=15). In both groups the complex treatment was used, which included: the fragment reposition operation, broad-spectrum antibiotic, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, anti-edematous therapy, vitamin B complex. In the main group of patients in the postoperative period the magnetic-laser therapy was applied. Assessment of qualitative and quantitative indices of pain was carried out on the 1st, 7th and 14th days of treatment. Results: In the main group of patients the magnetic-laser therapy significantly reduced the intensity of nociceptive pain, led to moderate regression of all types of neuropathies associated with infraorbital nerve damage. When comparing 2 groups the best pain relief had patients of the main group. At the end of treatment a significant positive dynamics of improving the electrical sensory of infraorbital nerve has been noted, as indicated by recovery of sensory threshold, pain threshold and pain tolerance almost to the level of intact contralateral side. Conclusions: The use of magnetic-laser therapy in the combined treatment of infraorbital nerve damage allows to improve the recovery of infraorbital nerve sensory changes following zygomatic fractures, reduce the pain, increase the effectiveness of treatment and provide rapid postoperative rehabilitation of patients.

It is very important to study the problem of caries and gingivitis in adolescents who are being treated for orthodontic pathology with bracket systems. The method of combined treatment which incorporates the use of medicine and laser therapy has been proved effective in caries prevention. This research aims to study clinical aspects of the effectiveness of the combined influence of the low-intensity laser "OPTODAN" with a wavelength of 0.85 μm (Scientific Development and Production Center "VEND", Saratov, Russia) in caries prevention. The research also aims to study the disinfection method of PAD with "FotoSan" ("CMS Dental", Denmark, with a wavelength of 625–635 nm, where toluidine blue is used as photosensitizer molecules) combined with regular measure to prevent gingivitis in adolescents being treated for orthodontic pathology with bracket systems. This paper presents the results of 1.5 years of clinical study of 60 12–13-year-old children. They were examined before and after the orthodontic treatment: their decayed, missing, filled teeth (DMFT), decayed, missing, filled tooth surfaces (DMFS) index and hygiene status (OHI-S) were calculated, gum inflammations were detected. Before the orthodontic treatment, their mouths were sanitized. After orthodontic appliances were placed, the children were randomly divided into two groups of 30 each. Children of the first group, while being treated with braces, took traditional preventative measures against gum inflammation and caries: occupational hygiene, local antiseptics (0.05% chlorhexidine solution), the use of remineralizing and phosphorus containing applications four times a year. The children of the second group, along with the traditional scheme of preventive measures, were treated with the devices "FotoSan" and "Optodan". Results of clinical examination of the second group have accurately proved decrease in the growth of dental caries intensity and surface caries intensity (ΔDMFT, ΔDMFS) and in gingivitis level at the end of the orthodontic treatment. So the results of our clinical research have proved the effectiveness of laser therapy and comprehensive prevention of caries and gingivitis in adolescents using bracket system.

Introduction. One of the common chronic dermatoses that have a direct impact on the quality of life of patients is acne. The occurrence of psycho-emotional disorders due to the location of elements in the open areas of the body. Given the high prevalence of acne in puberty (up to 85 % of adolescents have episodes of acne of varying severity), there is a need to find new algorithms for acne treatment to prevent the progression of social maladaptation and depressive states. Materials and methods. The study included 140 patients who were divided into 3 groups depending on the presence of comorbid pathology and treatment methods: group 1 — patients with acne who were underwent standard treatment for 60 days, group 2 — patients with acne in comorbidity with demodecosis, group 3 — patients with acne in comorbidity with demodecosis and functional disorders of the digestive system, who were additionally treated with a laser therapy. Treatment efficacy was evaluated using the GAGS scale and the DLQI questionnaire on days 14, 28 and 60 of therapy. Results. Evaluation of the results on day 60 shows a decrease in the manifestations of inflammation by 50 % in groups 2 and 3, and by 29 % in the standard therapy group. Improving of the quality of life in groups 2 and 3 was by 70 %, while in the group 1 — by 35 %. The following correlations were established: r = + 0.9 — between the severity of VC manifestations and the presence of comorbid pathology, r = + 0.71 — between the severity of VC and the assessment of quality of life, r = + 0.69 — between the presence of acne comorbidity with demodecosis and FDGBS and the effect on quality of life (p < 0.005). Conclusions. Optimization of the treatment algorithm for acne patients in comorbidity with demodecosis and functional disorders of the hepatobiliary system is achieved by the use of combined treatment using laser therapy, which significantly improves the quality of life of patients.
