The paper deals with design of automated solution check system for regional programming contests. The requirements and constraints for such systems are found in the work. Database for contest tasks is designed. The system is constructed using object modeling and patterns concept. Unified modeling language is used for system design. UML-diagrams are shown for project classes as well as diagram for solution check process.

PT. Duta Nichirindo Pratama is a company engaged in the field of Autoparts Manufacture. Barcode is the identity of an item / product on the package. Barcode technology has been used as the identity of goods in a production. Barcodes are used to facilitate the identification of goods produced. Paste the barcode on the packaging of packaging results at PT. Duta Nichirindo Pratama is done manually, but there are often errors attached to the barcode on a similar packaging. This research will design and create a system based on Visual Basic.Net and Arduino to select barcode attachment errors that have the potential to be sent to consumers. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, database design and interface menu design. The system created will then be tested to detect the black box test. With a computing-based design system that functions to detect barcodes on the packaging automatically, the problem of sticking barcodes on the packaging can be detected.

Project management skills such as WBS, Gantt Chart and PERT have been applied in many fields, but system analysts preferred UML to project tools. This chapter recommend transformation rules from project items into objects and project charts into UML diagrams, to model all project items and processes by using UML. Therefore, UML can be applied not only to system analysis and design, but also to entire project processes. Stakeholders in a project can rethink the project in terms of object orientation and communicate with system developers using the same tool as UML.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to curate and promote students’ and lecturers’ works and creations, and to provide pleasing user experience for mobile device users when browsing the portfolio gallery information. Design/methodology/approach The design of the mobile web application using Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology includes Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams. The evaluation is done in three steps: first step by comparing similar software, the second step by evaluate the interface using the eight golden rules and the last one by taking user questionnaire. Findings Evaluation of the application of Bina Nusantara University (BINUS) Store Mobile Web. Originality/value The authors report the development of BINUS Store Mobile web application by using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) with Laravel framework and evaluate it in Android and iOS environments.

Abstract WebGIS is a website-based digital mapping which is currently growing rapidly. Utilization of webgis can be used as a mapping of a building location which will later provide information to the public. One of them is as a mapping of BTS locations in Jatinegara sub-district. The BTS mapping is expected to provide public information that can be accessed by the public, especially in the Jatinegara sub-district. The webgis also displays information in the form of a complete BTS address. In developing this webgis system, researchers used the waterfall method and for system design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). As well as in the test using blackbox testing to find out whether the system developed is in accordance with its uses and functions. From the test results, the webgis that was developed has been running as needed and there are no syntax errors.

Many companies engaged in printing services still use manual processes in their transactions, the system process is less efficient and the possibility of errors in input data can still occur. Like the process of recording orders using paper, calculations using calculators and sales transactions written on books. Therefore, for these problems, a cashier application is needed that can facilitate the order process, calculations and transactions accurately with a web-based cashier application that features login, sales transactions, product data, add products, settings and exit applications. Our development process uses the waterfall method and to describe the system design we use the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Application using the waterfall method can make it easier to complete the application development process because there are already stages in the method.

Mobile learning is a learning process that utilizes technological developments through electronic devices in the form of smartphones or mobile phones. Currently learning hijaiyah is still widely done by meeting directly with the teaching staff, through Iqra or other print media. With this is considered less effective and ineffective and causes boredom for children. Therefore, an efficient, effective and interactive hijaiyah letter learning media is needed that can improve children's reasoning power to learn anywhere and anytime. The application will be designed with a system design tool that is UML (Unified Modeling language) that is easy to describe so that it can help in the compounding of the system. The application will be implemented on android-based mobile devices. Keywords: Android, Hijaiyah, M-Learning, UML.

In payroll data processing, AMIK Al Ma'soem still use semi computerization that is using Microsoft Excel application. Based on the observation of the author there are several weaknesses of the system used so far, namely: not integrated data, risk of duplication, edited and deleted data, reporting takes a long time and no lecturer paycheck. In the design of this system using a descriptive method approach in collecting data information needed to create a picture of the situation, incident, or the trend that is developing. While for system design isUML (unified Modeling Language). This system is implemented by using PHP web programming language (Hypertext Preprocessor) and MySQL database. The design of this system is expected to facilitate the users in printing pay slips, printing payroll reports, making assignments, printing report assignments, making absences and lecturers can find information on salary and assignment easily.

In this paper we present the model supporting the Requirement diagram in the emerging standard SysML, the System Modeling Language. SysML is the extension to System Engineering of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) proposed by the SysML and recently accepted as a answer to the Request for Proposal from the Object Modeling Group (OMG). We explain the rationale behind the construct of the model and give several examples to illustrate its features.

E-Commerce Unique Regional Souvenirs in Indonesia is a buying and selling application made to make it easier for tourists to find a place or location for typical regional gifts and make it easier for tourists to order souvenirs during a pandemic like now, as well as a means for traveler's local souvenir sellers to promote their products online. Making regional e-commerce specialties in Indonesia uses the Web Engineering paradigm and system modeling with UML (unified modeling language) with business cases, activities, use cases, and class diagrams. At the same time, the database management software uses MySQL with the PHP programming language and the Laravel Framework. The system design is expected to make it easier for people to find local souvenirs based on the place or location of souvenir merchants and local souvenir sellers to promote their products online
