The imbalance in the distribution of responsibilities for unpaid work has profoundly affected women’s’ empowerment and full participation in economic and social activities. The study surveyed more than 150 households in one rural area in one Vietnamese province. This study's result in the central rural area did not improve Vietnamese domestic labor division compared to previous studies. The daily time taken up doing housework strongly correlates with gender, and the t-Test is statistically significant differences in the mean by gender. Wives earn additional money, and then spend less time on housework; nonetheless, the wife's minimum threshold for housework time is much higher than her husband's maximum threshold. Unlike the time devoted to housework, how much income contributes to the household does not affect childcare time. Except for the gender factor, the importance and extent of factors affecting housework and childcare differed markedly. Peculiarly, the unemployment of husbands is not a normal situation in Vietnamese families, so the assumption of exchange theory is not satisfied, though the wife is almost unable to negotiate with the unemployed husband.

This paper deals with the impact of the Jordanian media in stimulating domestic tourism. When studied under various aspects, this study is deducted to evaluate the general trend of the official media and its role in increasing the size of domestic tourism in Jordan. The scientific case of this study is about the weakness of the Jordanian domestic tourism compared with the International Tourism. This is in addition to the official media's role regarding this issue. In this study, it had been concluded that the official media provides good results in the promotion of domestic tourism. Nevertheless, there are still many obstacles which continue to get in the way of the efforts which aim to develop and widen the prospects of domestic tourism in Jordan. The study pointed out a number of recommendations. One of the most important recommendations was that all media used for Tourism purposes in Jordan needs to be developed regarding the content, not the design. Also, the content should provide a real message about how an affordable domestic tourism can be appropriate and suitable for the Jordanian family. In addition, in-depth studies on the impact of the new media and its known tools to promote domestic Tourism should be developed.

This research carried out to uncover the effect of beekeeping on the income of rural poor and to which extent that market outlet choice affects the income of beekeepers. The findings of Multinomial Logit regression, from 129 questionnaires of 4 districts indicate that there is no relationship between market outlet choice and income of beekeepers. The income of beekeepers is mostly affected by their family size and working experience. But the factors affecting to choose the home selling market outlet is very different from those of three other channels. In order to promote the income of beekeepers, it’s recommended that the government and other involved NGOs work on arrangements on wholesale opportunities for beekeepers. Because over 102 out of 129 samples have indicated that their products aren’t sold out on time. It means that there is a huge opportunity of filling the gap of honey demand in Afghanistan by promoting the links between producers and buyers.

This research examines the model of electronic services at Tehran University. The effect of Information-Task Fitness, Interactivity, Trust, Accountability, Design and Innovation, Direct Perceptual Ability, Coherent Communication and Task Processes has been investigated on the quality of electronic services. This research is a case study and a survey. The reliability of the research questionnaires has all been verified. Similarly, the validity of the questionnaires has been confirmed by experts. This research has eight hypotheses that examine the impact of Information-Task Fitness, Interactivity, Trust, Accountability, Design and Innovation, Direct Perceptual Ability, Coherent Communication and Task Processes on the quality of electronic services (website) of the University of Tehran. All hypotheses were confirmed. All of the aforementioned factors have a moderate or significant impact on the quality of electronic services in the University of Tehran website. Keywords: Quality of services, electronic services, University of Tehran, website, quality of electronic services.

This paper focuses on the analysis of time series representation of blood loss and cytokines in animals experiencing trauma to understand the temporal progression of factors affecting survivability of the animal. Trauma related grave injuries cause exsanguination and lead to death. 50% of deaths especially in the armed forces are due to trauma injuries. Restricting blood loss usually requires the presence of first responders, which is not feasible in certain cases. Hemostatic nanoparticles have been developed to tackle these kinds of situations to help achieve efficient blood coagulation. Hemostatic nanoparticles were administered into trauma induced porcine animals (pigs) to observe impact on the cytokine and blood loss experienced by them. In this paper we present temporal models to study the impact of the hemostatic nanoparticles and provide snapshots about the trend in cytokines and blood loss in the porcine data to study their progression over time. We utilized Piecewise Aggregate Approximation, Similarity based Merging and clustering to evaluate the impact of the different hemostatic nanoparticles administered. In some cases the fluctuations in the cytokines may be too small. So in addition we highlight situations where temporal modelling that produces a smoothed time series may not be useful as it may remove out the noise and miss the overall fluctuations resulting from the nanoparticles. Our results indicate certain nanoparticles stand out and lead to novel hypothesis formation.

Different types of virtual innovation-related communities have emerged in recent years. These are increasingly being utilized by companies from different industries as a tool to efficiently source knowledge from diverse groups of individuals and thus to nourish internal innovations. Based on a case study research methodology this study investigated the impact 39 motivational factors have on the participation and contribution of members of two different innovation communities, i.e., an online Swiss innovation intermediary community (n = 48) and the off-line internal innovation community of a Swiss bank (n = 69). Results showed many similarities yet 16 significant differences between the perception of members of the two investigated innovation communities. For example, reward related items (monetary and non-monetary) showed to be top motivators for the intermediary community only. Items such as 'Webcam option', 'Chat function', 'Connection with other social network platforms', were perceived as low motivators by both communities. Derived from the findings, we discuss how the nature of the innovation community has an influence on the motivation and measures potentially leading to higher participation and contribution efficiency.

The Government of Sukoharjo District established a corporate farming program in Dalangan, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency since 2017 as an example of early development of agriculture modern in the countryside. However, the program has not run continuously due to constraints capital and has a high dependence on the decisions of decision makers. The objectives of this study are: (1) to identify farmers’ perceptions of corporate farming programs; (2) identifying and analyzing the importance and influence of corporate farming in Dalangan, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency; (3) analyze the impact of the application of corporate farming on the income of member farmers and not members of the corporate farming; and (4) analyze the level of influence of farmer characteristic factors on the decision to follow corporate farming. Data analysis methods used were descriptive analysis, stakeholder analysis, R / C ratio income analysis, and binomial logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the majority of farmer respondents agreed that the implementation of farmer corporations in Dalangan could improve farm performance, but the corporate farming had not made it easier for farmers to access Gapoktan capital. Based on stakeholder analysis, the Agriculture Service of Sukoharjo Regency and Gapoktan Tani Mandiri have the highest level of importance and influence in implementing the corporate farming. Based on income analysis, the value of R / C ratio and B / C ratio for cash costs to member farmers and not members of corporate farming is more than 1, so farming in groups is profitable and feasible. Factors that influence farmers' decisions to follow the corporate farming, namely the number of family dependents and farm income.
