This research aims to produce student worksheets scientific based on the demands of the 2013 curriculum to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school V students on thematic learning worthy of use in the learning process. This type of research is research and development of research and development (R & D) By using Borg and gall procedures which produce a certain product and test the feasibility of the developed product. The subject of this research is a grade V student elementary School. The data collection techniques conducted by researchers is a poll and a test. This research findings in the form of learning media is a scientific-based student worksheet to improve the skills of critical thinking on thematic learning. Based on the validation results of the media expert, the percentage of eligibility gained as much as 94% with the category very worthy. Results obtained from validation by the material members as much as 95% with the category very worthy. The results of the student response poll as much as 97% with the category very worthy. Based on the results of the pretests the average critical thinking skill of 35, in the postest result of an average score of 96.66. While the N-gain score increased critical thinking skills of 0.95 with the category high. Thus, it can be concluded that the students ' critical thinking skills have increased based on five critical thinking skill indicators of 0.95 with the "high" category.

The purpose of this research is to develop a learning package for Sciences Subject that can improve the critical thinking skill of the Elementary School Students. Therefore, in general, it can be categorized into a research and development. It can be done because of learning material with process skill to practice it not available. The learning package was developed by using 4-D model; defining, designing, developing, distributing. The subject in this study was learning material that will be tested in student of SD Raden Patah Surabaya. The result showed that learning material was valid, enforceability get good category with 100%. Student activites by using process get good too.  The improvement of students’ critical thinking is consistent on 3 classes (IVA, IVB, and IVC), the significant and high improvement with the average of N-Gain of 0,75. The data of students’ responses showed that most of students (98,09%) are happy to the process skill based learning. Based on the results and findings of the research, it can be concluded that the developed learning package can be stated as a valid, practical, and effective learning package. The implication of the research is that the process skill based Sciences learning can improve students’ critical thinking skill.

Oleh karena itu, secara umum jenis penelitian ini dapat dikategorikan sebagai penelitian pengembangan. Hal ini dilakukan karena perangkat pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan proses untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis belum tersedia. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menggunakan model 4-D yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang diuji cobakan pada siswa SD Raden Patah Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat valid, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik sebesar 100%. Aktivitas siswa terlaksana dengan baik. Peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa secara konsisten di tiga kelas (kelas IVA, IVB, dan IVC) mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan tergolong dalam kategori peningkatan tinggi dengan N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,75. Data respon siswa menunjukkan mayoritas siswa (98,09%) senang terhadap pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan proses. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan temuan-temuan sebagai dasar utama dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan sebagai perangkat pemebalajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Implikasi penelitian yang dapat ditarik adalah pembelajaran IPA berbasis keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan temuan-temuan sebagai dasar utama dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan sebagai perangkat pemebalajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. The ability to think critically is an important ability that elementary school students must have. The ability to think critically helps students make the right decisions about what to believe and what actions to take in the present or in the future. The ability to think critically can be developed by an open-ended approach to learning mathematics. The open-ended approach uses open-ended problems that have more than one correct answer and various ways of solving. Open-ended problem is expected to motivate students to find solutions independently so that in the process students' critical thinking ability will increase. This study aims to describe the process of developing mathematics learning tools using an open-ended approach for fourth-grade elementary school students to improve critical thinking ability. The learning tools development model consists of 3 phases, namely preliminary research (needs and context analysis, review of literature, development of a conceptual or theoretical framework for the study), prototyping phase (syllabus design, lesson plans, worksheets and expert validation) and assessment phase (limited trials). The trial in this study used a one-group pretest-posttest design with the research subjects of 19 fourth-grade students at Kedungdoro I/306 elementary school. The data collection technique used a device validation sheet, an observation sheet for the implementation of lesson plans and student activities, a student response questionnaire and a critical thinking ability test. The data obtained were analyzed using the average score which was converted according to the defined categories. The results show that the learning tools developed are valid based on the assessment of the two validators, practical based on the implementation of the lesson plan and student activities in the "very good" category, and effective based on the responses of students who are in the "strong" category and student's critical thinking ability that significantly increased with medium category based on paired sample t-test and N-Gain analysis.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model pembelajaran Realistik dalam Seting Kooperatif (RESIK) ditinjau dari sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan pretest-postest non equivalent group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Selong, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, NTB yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Untuk menguji keefektifan model pembelajaran RESIK dan model konvensional ditinjau dari masing-masing aspek yaitu sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis digunakan analisis one sample t-test pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Selanjutnya untuk membandingkan keefektifan model pembelajaran RESIK dan model konvensional ditinjau dari aspek sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi  belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji T2 Hotteling dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, dan uji-t univariat untuk menentukan model manakah yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran RESIK efektif ditinjau dari sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Model pembelajaran RESIK lebih efektif daripada model konvensional ditinjau dari sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis.Kata Kunci: realistik, kooperatif, RESIK The effectiveness of the realistic model in cooperative setting in terms of the attitude, motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill of junior high school students AbstractThis research aimed to describe the effectiveness of the realistic model in cooperative setting (RESIK model) in terms of the attitude, motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill of junior high school students. This research was a quasi experimental study using pretest-posttest non equivalent group design. In this study, two experimental groups were used. Population of research covered the whole number of six classes of grade VII student of SMPN 1 Selong, Lombok Timur, NTB. There were three different tests used to examine the data. One sample t-test at a significance level of 5% was used to examine the effectiveness of learning using RESIK model and conventional approach in terms of the aspect of students’ attitude toward mathematics, mathematics learning motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill. Then the data was analyzed using T2 Hotteling test at significance level of 5% to compare the effectiveness of RESIK model and conventional approach, and the last test was by using t-univariat test to determine which approach was more effective. The result indicates that both RESIK model and conventional approach in learning mathematics were effective in terms of the aspect of students’ attitude toward mathematics, mathematics learning motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill at grade VII of SMPN 1 Selong. RESIK model more effective than conventional model in terms of the aspect of students’ attitude toward mathematics, mathematics learning motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill.Keywords: realistic, cooperative, RESIK
