Background: Within the ovary, the optimal growth of the follicle, oocyte maturation and ovulation are highly conditioned by the two-way cross talk and interactions between the oocyte and the immediate somatic cells, known as cumulus cells (CCs). This biological communication between cell lines triggered the interest in the study of CCs as a biomarker of oocyte competence.  Case Presentation: The findings of a 45,X mosaic pattern on CCs from a female patient with unremarkable medical history are reported in this study. The patient came to the Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health, London on 14th August 2019 for her first visit and the follow up procedures were done for her to determine underlying genetic status. For this purpose, four sources of DNA including CCs, blood lymphocytes, buccal cells and immature oocytes were analyzed in the present report.  Conclusion: In the present case study, the hypothesis of the female patient being mosaic 45,X was confirmed although the degree of mosaicism and whether this was affecting the germinal line could not be determined. In the event of the discovery of a cell line with an apparently abnormal genetic makeup, genetic counselling is important in order to understand the implications from somatic to germinal cells for patients exploring fertility journeys

When the shape, structure, and/or function of one of the parts of the components of the stomatognathic system change, structural and physiological changes also occur to absorb or compensate the consequent loads. Hence, an insightful rehabilitation of this type of patient involves essential procedures, such as: correct orientation of the occlusal plane, determination of the vertical dimension of occlusion, and a stable and healthy maxillomandibular relationship, since the nonobservance of these aspects may result in prosthodontic rehabilitation failure. The objective of the present case study is to report the preoperative planning and prosthodontic rehabilitation of an edentulous patient with severe maxillary atrophy and signs and symptoms of temporomandibular disorders. The patient underwent flat occlusal plane splint therapy to reestablish the condyle-fossa and maxillomandibular relationships and muscle activity, followed by prosthodontic rehabilitation with implant-supported complete dentures. The maxillomandibular relationship was determined by the intraoral tracing technique, with a 24-month follow-up.

Since ancient times Ashmari is mentioned in Ayurvedic texts. Ashmari is a disease related to the urinary system (Mutravahasrotas). Mutrashmari is described under Asthamahagad (difficult to cure) in Ayurveda. It possesses symptoms such as Jwara (Fever), Basti Pida (Discomfort and pain in the bladder), Aruchi (Anorexia), Mutrakric- cha (Difficulty in micturition), Bastishira Vedana (Pain in Urethra), Mushka Vedana (Pain in testicles) and Shepha Vedana (Pain in the penis) have been described in Ayurvedic classical texts. A 29-year-old female patient visited OPD, with complaints of pain in the right side of the Abdomen, Burning Micturition, Nausea and Vomit- ing. The USG reported calculus measuring 5.3mm in size seen in the right kidney with the normal functioning of vitals. The patient was treated with Chandraprabha Vati 2 BD, Gokshuradi Guggulu 2 BD, Varunadi Kwath 20ml BD on OPD basis. The patient was advised initially follow up after 7 days and later after every 15 days. Along with medication, the patient was also advised to follow diet and lifestyle restrictions. The patient got relief in signs and symptoms and the USG report showed no evidence of calculi in the right kidney. Keywords: Vrikashmari, Chandraprabha Vati, Gokshuradi guggulu, Varunadi Kwath

Its prevalence is increasing day by day due to present lifestyle, food habits, stressful lifestyle and many other endocrine and other causes. This is a case study of a female patient who was suffering from delayed menstruation since 1.5 year. She was interrogated for the de- tailed history and all necessary routine, hormonal and other investigations were done. Then the treatment was planned according to her presenting complaint. She was treated with Shatapushpa kalpa and Shatapushpa Taila Matra Basti for 2 consecutive cycles. She got her menstruation at regular interval while taking medicines and then she was kept on 2 months of follow up after cessation of medicine. She still continued to have her menstruation regularly without medicine. Keywords: Artava kshaya, Shatapushpa Kalpa, Shatapushpa taila matra basti, Oligomenorrhoea

The aim of the present report was to find out the effect of 448 kHz Capacitive Resistive Monopolar Radiofrequency (CRMRF) in acute ankle sprain. A patient with right unilateral acute ankle sprain participated in the present case study. The patient followed a course of 448 kHz CRMRF twice per day for seven consecutive days. Evaluations included self-reported pain via a visual analogue scale, degree of ankle edema and ankle range of motion via goniometry carried out before the treatment and at the end of the treatment. There was a decline in pain and a rise in function in all evaluations. The results of the present trial suggest that a course of 448 kHz CRMRF as described in the present trial can produce significant improvements in terms of pain and disability in acute ankle sprain; however, larger studies are required confirming these results.

AbstractCutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) is a protozoal skin disease, transmitted by the bite of an infected female sand fly. The result of infection can vary from a chronic skin ulcer to erosive mucosal disease. The disease is endemic in Sudan, persists for longer periods and heals with disfiguring scars. The use of lasers has not been extensively tried out in the treatment of this disease. The present case study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of a fractional COThe ulcers of 10 randomly selected Sudanese patients, diagnosed as CL patients, were ablated using a 10,600 nm COThe majority of the patients (8 out of 10) had either a complete or very good improvement by the end of follow-up. Pain occurred post-operatively in all patients, while edema, infection and hypo/hyperpigmentation occurred in only two patients. These side effects were trivial and disappeared a few days after treatment. The fractional CO

Although antecedents of choking under pressure have been studied, prevention efforts have been somewhat inconsistent. Current choking-susceptibility criteria include trait anxiety (TA), self-consciousness (SC), and coping style. In the present case study, a college track-and-field athlete was self-identified as choking susceptible (CS), and a sport-specific mindfulness intervention to reduce levels of TA, SC, and alter coping to reduce choking susceptibility was implemented. The athlete identified as CS completed the 6-wk Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement (MSPE) program. Trait and state mindfulness were assessed throughout the program, with a follow-up 6 wk postintervention to gain further insight into the continuing effects of the mindfulness training. Visual analysis and quantitative and qualitative data demonstrated increases in mindfulness levels and changes in TA, SC, and coping, resulting in the participant’s failing to meet the choking-susceptibility criteria postintervention, indicating a reduced likelihood of choking in future performances. Enhanced mindfulness levels promoted greater awareness and acceptance, which may help counter the negative effects of stressful sport performances.

In Ayurveda, all skin diseases have been described under the term of kushtha. All skin diseases come under kushtha but all kushtha not come under skin diseases. kushtha classified into Maha-kushtha and Kshudra Kushtha. Acharyas have described that all kushtha have Tridoshic involvement but the type of kushtha depends on the predominance of particular doshas. Contact allergic dermatitis (CAD) is an occupational disease.it is hypersensitivity reaction to plethora of antigen in the environments. The present case study is successful Ayurvedic management of a case of vata-kaphaj kushata. A 48 year old female patient came to us with chief compliant of ubhay hasat twakvaivrya, kandu since 1 month. She get relief within 7 days. Ayurvedic management involving sukshma trifala, gandharva haritaki, stanik snehan followed by Awagaha.
