The environmental protection is a significant issue that the current government departments attach great importance, and the environmental justice is the legal means to protect the environment, which is also a very important part of the judicial reform. How to realize judicial fairness in related environmental cases is the focus of public opinion and the difficulty of judicial research. At present, the practice of rule in law evaluation has been able to evaluate the judicial impartiality objectively and quantitatively from the macro perspective, but the specific facts of relevant cases cannot be accurately analyzed from the micro perspective. The discussion of environmental cases in this paper has positive referenced significance for other cases of rights and interests’ infringement and has important value for promoting the realization of judicial category judgment and accurate analysis of specific fields under the condition of modern information, and also provides beneficial help for judicial evaluation.

This article presents results from survey experiments investigating conditions under which Britons are willing to pay taxes on polluting activities. People are no more willing if revenues are hypothecated for spending on environmental protection, while making such taxes more relevant to people – by naming petrol and electricity as products to which they will apply – has a modestly negative effect. Public willingness increases sharply if people are told that new environmental taxes would be offset by cuts to other taxes, but political distrust appears to undermine much of this effect. Previous studies have argued that political trust shapes public opinion with respect to environmental and many other policies. But this article provides the first experimental evidence suggesting that the relationship is causal, at least for one specific facet: cynicism about public officials’ honesty and integrity. The results suggest a need to make confidence in the trustworthiness of public officials and their promises more central to conceptualizations of political trust.

Due to the general tendency to express environmental protection, environmentalism, and the actions to slow down the greenhouse effect in the world, the enterprises have noticed the importance of environmental values in their public announcements, documents, and homepages. In other words, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a very important and topical theme of the firms. The popularity of environmentalism tempts the firms to follow the direction of public opinion even though the actual environmental activities might be minor or even absent. This kind of quasi-environmentalism is called as greenwashing. This chapter focuses on greenwashing and CSR in the Finnish context via public discussions about greenwashing. This chapter is emphasizing the understandings and the sense-makings in the concepts of greenwashing and CSR and their numerous connotations basing on the results of the textual analysis. The outcomes are completed and compared with the international contexts, and, therefore, they are also internationally robust.

For the past decades, environment and its relevant issues are becoming the greatest concern of most countries. Public opinion becomes the interest of most policy makers and sociologist reformist. Improved understanding of public perceptions about global warming and other environmental issues can contribute to informing scientific and policy discussions. The aim of this study is to assess the (1) the extent of concern on the major environmental issues of the city (2) the preference between environmental protection and energy production, and (3) to compare the extent of concern of the public according to their respective district. A total of 1151 respondents, ages 18 and above was derived using the systematic sampling at 95% confidence interval, and proportionate sampling distribution to ensure representativeness with the population of the city. The results suggest that Dabawenyos are greatly worried about global warming (92%), deforestation and urban flooding (88%), and energy crisis are considered as the most alarming environmental problem in the city. Moreover, they are more favorable to environmentally-friendly solutions in addressing the city’s energy problem, and the government should put greater emphasis on the development of renewable energy (96%). The degree of concerns and emphasis on environmental protection of the community can be directly equated to the traumatic environmental phenomena that had happened in the city. Keywords: Ecology and Conservation, environmental issues, renewable energy, poll survey, Philippines

Advanced driver assistance and accident detection system is significantlyneeded to ensure safety for drivers. Drowsiness detection, collision detection and various driver alert systems have penetrated into market with an aim to provide higher security for driver but due to population of vehicle and modification in structure of roads these system fails to answer safety problems that results in severe accidents. In this paper we provide accurate analysis of past recorded accidents in Tamil Nadu state and analysis of public opinion on Accident detection system is carried out using 1004 licensed persons under different ages in three cities (Coimbatore, Erode and Nilgiris) by focusing the major 10 parameters carrying 48 Questions. Findings and implications of this analysis is also discussed in this article. A thorough analysis of recent techniques that are used for AAD (Automatic Accident Detection) and road safety programmes that resolve the pre and post cautionary concerns of accidents in developing countries is addressed with the review of most 4 influencing algorithms in ITS for AAD.. 1 Vehicle Detection using Wheel arc Counter Detection Algorithm, 2 Enhancement of V2X Communication using Multi-RAT,3Road Curvature Estimation using Circle Fitting Algorithm and4Driver Safety Systemis discussed in this paper. To understand recent computational challenges and extended areas of research in ITS, anhybrid approach of CNN with VANETs for accident detection has been suggested to enumerate the obtained accidental information.
